There is always someone at the front desk to let you in if you don't have a special code to get in using the key pad. The atmosphere of the school was so lovely. I instantly felt comfort, safe, and cleanliness of the classrooms/hallways. The playgrounds were big, spacious, had trees lining the perimeter with a fence that you could see out of. It just made the school feel like the outside areas were a backyard to someone's house. The classrooms are kept at great student to teacher ratios so your child gets more attention. The school provides breakfast, lunch, and a snack in the afternoon for every child. You don't know how much of a convenience this is! They are super conscience of food allergies, and they always have really yummy/healthy meals. I was surprised to see my kids were eating all of the food they provided since they are kind of picky eaters at home. I love that the school has an app you can use to help keep you in the loop of what is going on with your child that day. What did they do all day with their lesson plans, how they went to the bathroom (which was helpful with potty training), how much they eat of the meals, what the meals were, and my absolute favorite having a camera in the child's classroom to see how they are doing (at anytime of the day while they are there). The teachers at this school are so amazing and honestly on another level! We have had the pleasure of having Mr. Tyler, Miss Rachel, Miss Jess, Miss Mo, Miss Dreia, Miss Shrina, Miss Kaia, Miss Brianna, Miss V, Miss Alexis, and honestly there are more support staff there that I haven't even mentioned. The staff truly goes above and beyond to make the kids at their school feel loved and cared for. So many of the projects and lessons that they do with the kiddos are so special and really cater to each child's age learning levels. My two year olds have been counting and starting to write letters. My four year old who is in the PreK class is starting to read words! The knowledge they obtain in just a short amount of time at the school is astounding. I know my kids are going to be ready for their grade school experience. Lastly, the heart and soul of the establishment is guided by Miss Nicole & Miss Gina. These ladies have helped make a nervous first time parent feel like they have been going to La Petite for years. They are always keeping you up to date with how your child is and they check in with you (mentally/physically). Some days this Mom of three needed that. Long story short look no further if you want a place that is safe, in Chalfont, and going to help make your child thrive educationally!

My daughter Kobe has attended KinderCare in Chalfont since she was a year old, and she's almost 3…read morenow. When other daycares turned her down claiming she was too "spoiled" because she was so attached to mommy in the beginning, Kindercare took the time to break her into daycare. With their open-door and open-phone policy, I was able to come and nurse my daughter as I pleased and I called numerous times a day to check in on her. The staff at kindercare have always been good to my family and I. Amanda and Marta are not only directors, but they treat these children as if they are their own. They do anything to accommodate the needs of your child and that's what I love most about them. I feel comfortable knowing that my daughter is safe throughout the day. I feel so fortunate to have the staff at kindercare as my extended family. I am so thankful that they had the patience to break my daughter out of her habits. KinderCare is the place to be, I'm blessed to have them in my and my daughters life!

I made my site visits unannounced, so that I may see the daily operations of each center. What I found was horrifying in one, with the staff mistreating a special needs child, a dirty facility in the other and finally staff that seemed absolutely miserable! in the third. Then I found Chalfont West Kindercare! They are extremely flexible with my work schedule as well as my child's gluten restricted diet. When I mentioned that to the owner, she said, "Ohhh, I wish you would have asked me as she really did not have to have that done." I thought to myself, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHY DIDN'T YOU CROSS IT OUT THEN ON THE APPLICATION!!!!! Another time the manager/owner told me that "when a child's running nose is clear that means the child has an infection, but that when the what's coming out of the nose is green, that there is NO infection." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHAT A DITZ! OR DO YOU JUST WANT ME TO BELIEVE THAT AS I SEE GREEN SNOTTY KIDS RUNNING AROUND?
