I had little and none interaction with this person with the exception of a smug attitude. I would look for a different fitness center because they will promise you anything to get you to sign the paper and then the follow through is nothing The staff used to be good, but they have really gone downhill. Save your money and go somewhere where they actually do care about members and customer service because this is not the place.

Still the restrooms are a mess, lockers always full, occasional raw sewage on the floor in the locker room, steam room NEVER works and at least the equipment is always broken. How hard is it to replace a carabiner or a simple roll of toilet paper for peak hours? There are two rolls on the fixture, can we have ONE that has TP on it and a locking stall would be nice. On the plus side, they keep the locker rooms open while the sewer backs up. Classy. Kudos. I have worked out at gyms all over the country. This one could be OK. Many Genesis clubs are nice! Just a complete lack of caring is endemic of this location. Like it's cursed.

Well, basically I will no longer be purchasing anything inside Planet Fitness if I even choose to maintain member ship status. I will bring my own water, and/or tanning supplies. They will be getting zero $0 add-ons from this customer. I'm extremely disappointed in this company. I'm already sharing my frustration with whomever want to listen. One of my room mates, a female says she cancelled and is inquiring at Club Genesis for an alternate workout place. It is quite likely I may do the same.

Your first impression will be receiving a friendly greeting from their staff at the counter. When they aren't helping welcome members in, they can be seen actively cleaning so everything is spotless from workout areas to the bathrooms and locker rooms. I don't know how many square feet the facility is, but the layout is great in that workout rooms are divided out so it's not so open and intimidating as other big box gyms I've been to. Whether you want to workout on your own, work with a personal trainer, try CrossFit, powerlifting, or even body building, they have you covered. It feels like a family environment to be greeted by name by the friendly staff. I enjoy feeling welcomed and not intimidated like other places I've tried. Get down there and try out a free session. Weight room is bigger than some, with 3 racks plus Smith, a cable machine, leg presses, etc. Only thing I didnt see was an EZ curl bar, but no big deal. They also have bumper plates and rubberized mats on the floor for deadlifts. (They also have lots of sign threatening charges for "dropping weights," not re-racking your weights, or "leaning weights against the wall.") So be warned, I suppose. I haven't had much interaction with staff here, but from what I can recall, they've been friendly. It's not the shiniest or prettiest AF I've been to, but it's got it where it counts. They've also got a vending machine with drinks. Would definitely come back.

The manager here was super friendly and willing to take the time to speak to me without undue pressure. The free weights and cardio machines were adequate for my use but the place is probably geared more for the casual user than the gym rats who want to grunt, groan and slam weights around like Neanderthals. So if you don't need a river of testosterone flowing around you but rather a pleasant place to work out without being judged by how many tires you can flip over than this is the place for you.

They have fitness classes daily and open swim times in their basement pool. It's really great the way it is divided into different levels depending on what you are looking for. Most of the weight machines plus free weights and indoor rock climbing are in 2nd floor. The 3rd floor has a track which goes around the entire upstairs and mainly has cardio equipment. The weights include the only four way neck machine I have seen at a commercial gym. They also have a deadlift platform, power racks, pull-up machine, dumbbells to 120 lbs. Plus they have too many extras to mention. It's a great place that does a lot of good for the community with kids activities and a true health focus. I live close enough to walk and feel very fortunate to live so near. Highly recommend!

While it is true that I am the one investing the sweat equity, I simply could not have moved from where I was to actually enjoying working out on a regular basis. Kaly, my fitness guru, is diabolical, but so careful at the same time. I think the world of her. I love the 24 hour availability that is close to our small town. I love the environment and other patrons that encourage versus other places that prefer only slim & trim people to grace their facilities. This place is good for me and I have learned to love it more and more each time I am here.
