My children went for 6 weeks and participated in multi sport, basketball, magic camp, two of their STEM programs, volleyball and lacrosse. The programs are well planned with little downtime. They had lunch for purchase and offered lots of kid friendly foods that my kids enjoyed. After lunch the kids would have some free time to go on the water slides, bounce houses or just play a game of gaga ball. There was something for everyone. A monthly calendar of fun events was posted including Tye Dye week, Olympics, etc. And a t-shirt is given out each week. Counselors were all helpful, patient, and professional. Very happy with our overall experience and my kids can't wait to go back again. The owner and staff are all great people. When we were first interested in the camp they were easy to accommodate us for a tour and meeting. My son instantly wanted to join this camp after the first 5 minutes. While my son spends many days doing trips, the actual camp itself is very impressive. Tucked away at the end of a residential street is a massive sprawling day camp that feels like you're miles away from everything even though you're actually just a few minutes drive away from 110. They have a ton of facilities to offer the campers. Multiple pools, go cart track, zip lines, all the sports you could want, a pond w paddle boats, archery, art & crafts and even a circus performance class! Every day is a party at KENWAL - when you drop off your kids in the morning they have party music blasting away and the super friendly staff are all out in the lot to greet the kids and keep the traffic flowing. You know you're kids are in for a fun day every day! The office staff is flexible with payments, offer different payment options, discounts for early pay and they are just great to work with. We've used other camps on the island and we wish we found Kenwal years ago. Prices are reasonable compared to other camps and they offer a lot more services in my opinion and don't seem to have the staffing issues we've seen elsewhere. Counselors are plentiful and certainly look like they are having fun working here. Highly recommend. Bring on the summer!!!

Follow the signs. Thereis parking to the side of the main house. This visit had a tour of plants . There is a pond, fire pit and picnic tables throughout the area.it is a nature preserve park with many native plants along with some for sale. I suggest wearing a hat and sunscreen. While there are paths, sturdy shoes or work boots are good too along with a bottle of water. I did sera sign for bathrooms as well. They have a compost pile on the side.if you happen to have peelings from vegetables feel free to drop them off on your visit and learn how they make black gold for the soil.

The lady who gave a lesson about how to track or discover animals around us during our daily life, but the lesson was in a small room with no AC. The boys were not interested in the discussion at all. The session was informative to the parents, but the lady seemed unable to handle younger kids. We then took a nature walk outside and the boys were very into the hike. The trail was clearly marked and easy to access by foot. Parking lot was relatively small. Overall it was an okay experience.

The exception to this is the ninja warrior program which is not worth the money. It costs almost as much as gymnastics and it's only an hour. Classes run back to back also. So It takes 15 minutes for the staff to assemble a warrior course in the very back, which bites into your hours time. Then the kids just run the same course over and over. It's cute, but for 45 minutes of an obstacle course, it should be pretty cheap. My only other frustration is the mob scene that erupts when classes are changing. There's zero flow or crowd control. And no gap at all in start/end times. So you're fighting your way through "parenting pick up pandemonium". I generally find the staff and coaches very helpful and nice, as well as the desk clerks. No complaints there and they offer some really nice camp options during the summer. I would recommend gymnastics definitely.

Cathy was amazing with the entire registration process and our little one is thriving with Haley and Brianna. Morning drop offs is a breeze, there's never a question if there's enough room for your child that day in their regular room and it is consistent to help keep the child comfortable. Class size and safe attentive care were some positive selling points that stuck out to me as well. The teachers do a great job at uploading some pictures throughout the day as well so we can get a glimpse of what our little one is up to and seeing the bright smile on her face as she is learning, exploring and socializing is worth it ten folds.
