The best Christmas tree farm in Massachusetts! The staff is super friendly and helpful when you arrive. Having sleigh rides, visits from Santa, and a fire to warm yourself up with warmed apple cider, what is their not to love! This is our second year cutting our own tree and it looks amazing. Last years tree lasted well over a month and we didn't want to get rid of it after the holidays. Now a yearly tradition!

We always have a large tree every Christmas (16-18 feet). It has become increasingly tough to find trees that size at less than a $100. We bought hay from Jake and his dad this summer so we went back and picked out a very nice 18 foot tree and only paid $50. Jake cut the tree down for us and helped us load it.

This is the tree we just purchased after we got it home. This is a typical example.

This family owned tree farm offers excellent trees and wreaths at excellent prices. So not only do you get to support a hard working local family (The Schrader's) with your custom, you get to do it while spending less than you would at a big box store. Beautiful setting, nice people, great trees. They even had complimentary hot apple cider! Well done, Schraders.

Large selection of cut your own trees on the smaller side (5-6'). Beautiful precut Fraser's (7-9'). Hot cider, cookies, plus 10% off for Yelpers. You can't go wrong!

Good looking trees, very friendly and helpful staff, free hot cider and an outdoor fire to warm up. A great family experience!

And the cookies and hot cider were wonderful next to the woodstove.

After passing by Emerson Family Farm multiple times in the past few years we decided to stop in to…read morebuy some mums. When we pulled in we were warmly greeted by the farm owner Debbie and her mother. They did a great job of helping us find the right mums we were looking for and actually helped us buy some for our upcoming wedding. They were extremely polite and actually told us that we could house our mums there until our wedding day. They said that they would take care of the plants without any additional charge which was a relief for us. The price is here also reasonable which was an added plus. The customer service here alone warrants five stars but I can't talk highly enough about their quality. The flowers that they have, as well as the other plants and gourds are incredible. We will continue to shop here in the future and we are excited to hopefully buy our Christmas tree here come winter.

The owner and her son were outside arguing and blatantly ignored us and turned the lights off while we were clearly standing in the parking lot. Finally, a young man did come over and ask if we wanted any help. We said we would like a tree, decided to basically take the first one we saw and get out as quickly as possible. The whole experience took about 15 minutes, definitely not the type of heartwarming traditional Christmas experience we were expecting when parroting a local family owned business. I will say that the young man who helped us was ultimately very friendly and we are happy with our tree, we just won't plan to return here again.

After years of using some tried and true Christmas tree farms in Massachusetts, we found ourselves…read morein dire straights this year. A friend stumbled across the website for this tree farm and let us in on his secret find. The farm apparently has been around for 20 years though it is new to us. The sign and entrance are not all that visible from the main street and Waze has the location off slightly, but after traveling down the winding drive you're treated to an expansive view of Christmas trees dotting a bucolic farm that abuts stabled horses and broad open fields. The owners are extremely accommodating and quite proud of the variety of trees they grow. Compared to the average tree farm, it does appear that Riverwind has a much broader variety including an interesting Turkish fir tree that is very full and composed of rich, deep green colored needles. My family and I had a lot of fun walking along the various fields including crossing a small river to reach the most remote areas of the farm. The trees are not on top of each other like at other farms and there are a variety of sizes available from as short as 5 feet to his tall is 15 feet. Only tagged trees are available for purchase and the prices weren't cheap but were by and large on par with other tree farms. The sales hut has handmade and manufactured Christmas ornaments. Homemade wreaths and greens are available as well. In addition there was free hot chocolate, hot cider, and cookies for the kids. The staff have all-terrain vehicles available that I think could be used to help haul your tree if you are unable to use the hand wagons they provide. Saws are also supplied if you don't bring your own. The staff provide complementary tree trimming, shaking and netting and will bring your tree to your car. I'm not certain they'll actually secure it to your car though since I had brought my own straps and did it myself. The owners pay close attention to details with the netting being green and red in color as opposed to the standard orange. I almost regret writing this post as I figure the masses will learn of this great farm and we'll be on the hunt again next year for a new Christmas tree source. Finally, there were some ready cut trees available for those who can't find their ideal tree or don't wish to cut their own.
