Great prices, authentic dishes, and BYOB!
A delicious meal in a a cozy casual atmosphere. It's one of the few places in the area that isn't "carry out only" and the food is really fresh. I especially enjoyed the soups.
We ordered Thom Kha Kai, and a glassy noodle soup, to start. Both soups were totally "mmmmm"-worthy.
When my fiancee requested a beer, the snarky waiter directed him to the quickie mart next door. He was completely condescending about the whole thing when we asked "So, can we bring the beers in here?" His response "Why would i tell you about it if you couldn't?!" - I was starving and didn't want to risk having a bad food experience so I decided to pretend I was in an episode of Seinfeld and just ignore it.
It was the right decision, because when our entrées arrived, they were quick, fresh, and delicious. I ordered the pad see ew, and my fiancée had the red curry. Both totally satisfying. I think I would order something else next time, but it was good.
Overall I would recommend this place to anyone in the neighborhood, but don't make a special trip for it. It would be perfect for a casual dinner meet up with a few friends. And the idea of bringing your own bottle of wine, is actually quite a positive in my opinion.
