Thought about giving this place a 3 because of the rather young woman who was not very nice when trying to usher me out the door...she was snappy with some customers outside as well. Clearly feeling overwhelmed. Placed an online order that was projected to be ready at 8:10 pm. I got there at about 8:15pm and the woman that greeted me was pretty calm cool and collected even though the place was JAM PACKED- with several people waiting outside to pick up delivery orders or waiting to be seated. She was multitasking for sure- taking orders at tables, dealing with Uber Eats folks, as well as people coming in for a table, and me picking up my online order. It was a bit of chaos but she said to give her 2 mins. I said I'll give you 5 trying to be cool because she was working hard. About 13 mins later a young woman (20s or so) came over and asked me to step outside. I politely told her 'that woman' (pointed in the nice lady's direction) said I could wait here, so I'd rather stay here to get my order. Based on her facial expression and the fact that she went to another employee to obviously complain about me - I wasn't going to budge - and get sent outside to be forgotten about. My order was given to me by the nice woman about 8:45pm- 35 mins after the time stated online. A bit aggravating for sure but thanked the nice lady for being so nice. Speaking from my personal and professional experience people can generally forgive a lot of things if the person they are dealing with is nice. All that to let you know that my family and I thought the food was pretty darn good. I will definitely get the chicken wings again as they were cooked perfectly and with just the right amount of crispness to them. read more

This was and is the best Thai food I have ever eaten in my life. The flavors of the food were incredible. We didn't have reservations, but they were friendly and got us a table quickly! The restaurant is set up very neat. I loved the decor of the place. The thai tea was not overly sweet or bitter. We also had veggie spring rolls that were so crispy! The pad thai and the pad see ewe had perfectly cooked noodles and the sauce was so flavorful. The coconut rice was delicious. This review is for the Kings Cross location which I can't seem to find on Yelp. This was a second visit to the location with our first visit back in 2023. It was exactly what we remembered. Excellent atmosphere and speedy quick service. Everything was as delicious as we could hope for after a long international flight. You can never go wrong with the classic platter. The Thai fried chicken (TFC) was super crispy and yummy. Pork skewers were super tender and tasty. Tom Yum Seafood hot pot was well balanced and the slight tang from the vinegar added to the broth was spot on. The squid rings were a bit tough, maybe a bit overcooked, but the rest was excellent. The ginger stir fry was fabulous. The fresh veggies and delicious sauce really hit the spot. With a bit of heat to it, it was nothing short of amazing. I've never had drunken noodles with minced chicken before but the texture difference it added was nice. The noodles had a nice texture that was firm and chewy. The ginger stir fry was different. The vegetables were barely cooked and were fresh and crunchy. In my opinion, it could've been cooked a bit more. The chicken pieces were indescribable. It didn't look like nor taste like chicken. We came here on a weeknight and there was a steady stream of customers. We were greeted and seated when we got in. We ordered the egg rolls, pad Thai, massaman curry, and a side of rice. Everything we ordered was pretty good. However, the rice was a little old and less fluffy. The egg rolls didn't have the best flavor, though they were crunchy. However, there weren't that many egg rolls. The massaman curry with tofu probably had the best flavor and what we enjoyed most. The pad Thai with chicken was good, but it could have had a little more flavor overall. There also was a lot of chicken in the curry. The food itself was all really good. But the service was kind of bad lol. Once we were seated, no one came to get our order or bring us any drinks. And it was so hard to flag a waiter down. Once we did get their attention, we ordered and asked for water. The food came out and we asked for water again, but we still didn't get it. Until near the end of the meal, when almost all our food was gone, we finally flagged down a server again to get our water. It also took a while to flag down a waiter to get the bill when our plates were clearly empty. Tasty Thai food in the Victoria area of London. I was staying at a local hotel and didn't want to go too far for dinner. This place was a good choice. We tried the shrimp appetizer Pad Thai, and Pad see ewe. Everything was prepared well. As far as the atmosphere, the restaurant is small. Had an ok experience here! The food itself was like a ~3.8/5. The fishcake appetizer was really yummy and tasted super fresh! The fried chicken with rice plate was excellent. It was fried to perfection and the bread crumbs were super tasty (had a hint of coconut which I've never tried before). We got the Tom Kha noodle soup and it was super disappointing. The broth itself has no flavor, which I feel like is the whole point of ordering the soup. The noodles they used were like udon, which were a bit off? We had to add a lot of fish sauce in order for it to taste good. The service also was really disappointing. They took almost an hour to serve our food. Came here for an early dinner after landing in London- close walk from our hotel. We were seated right away. Had the Love you long time drink- very refreshing! Husband had the Mad Cat it was an original beer from restaurant. He enjoyed it. We ordered the wings which were very tasty as starter. Saddest food experience of my life. Can I please get a refund? I spent the day walking London and just wanted a nice, healthy meal in my hotel room. I saw an ad for Deliveroo on the back of London TimeOut and thought I'd give it a try. I love Thai food and Rosa's menu looked great. I ordered the pad thai with tofu and mixed vegetables and when it arrived 45 minutes later, it was the dark brown color of food that had simmered too long. Every bite was drenched with juicy sodium and I didn't feel good eating it. Look at the packaging. When the order arrived, I got a square cube in a box. This looks exactly like main cabin food on an airplane. I feel so bad leaving this review for people I don't even know, but I tried to handle this directly with the business, and they treated me like a reject. The lady who answered was unkind. She asked for my order number and when I gave the # on my receipt, she said the order didn't exist. I told her it's the only order # on the receipt. She claimed there's multiple Rosa's and I'd have to call the other cafe. The same address that's on my receipt is the same number I called. What can I do? read more

After one week in Europe, we were dying for flavor! Rosa's Thai Cafe on Gillinham is a short walk away from Victoria Palace Theatre. We ordered the Moo yang, it was flavorful with the sweet dipping sauce. The Tom Yum Prawn soup was more tomato based than original Thai flavor but it was decent. The Beef Panang was authentic, a little spicy and very tasty. The Phad Kra Pow chicken was not as good as we had hope. But it was still pretty good. The sticky rice with mango was as good as any Thai restaurants in Bangkok. If you need a quick respite from European flavors, Rosa's Thai is the place! read more

I would give this 2 to 2.5 stars. They have a wide assortment of noodles, curries and appetizers, but some of the dishes are so spicy they are almost inedible, the portions are a bit on the small side and the quality of the food is so-so. On the plus side, the food comes out really quickly so if you're in a hurry, this is a decent choice. Seafood Glass Noodle Salad - This is extremely spicy, almost to the point of being inedible. It will either burn your tastebuds off your tongue or you'll have regret after eating this the next day, or both. Not sure if they just dumped an entire jar of chilis in this dish or what. Order and eat at your own risk - this is definitely not for the faint of heart. I didn't find the seafood particularly fresh in this dish either - the shrimp was okay but the mussels didn't seem that fresh. I'd skip this. Red Curry Paste Stir-Fry (£9.50) - We got this with chicken, but the sauce was really watery, so it's more like a curry than a stirfry. Becareful of what you're eating because the chili peppers look like red peppers, and the green chilis look very similar to the green beans. Other than chicken and green beans, and a lot of chilis, there's not much else going on here. It could use some more vegetables and the pieces of chicken were really thin and small. Pass on this too. Mixed Vegetables (£7.50) - This was our favorite dish of the night, the variety of vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, and tofu) were nice and the sauce was also good and not overly salty. I'd recommend this dish. Overall, the meal was a bit expensive and just so-so for the quality and portion-size. I'm sure you can find better Thai food in London. We came here because it was late and we wanted something fast, so it was fine, but I wouldn't come back here. read more

Great little Thai spot not far from our hotel by the Victoria rail station. It was quite busy when we arrived at 6:30pm, but we didn't have to wait for a table. They did a steady business the entire time we were there, a testament to how well a job they do. Hubs and I started with an order of fried spring rolls, which were delish, and also the shrimp chips, which were fried perfectly and also had a delightful little kick to them, and for mains, I got the prawns fried rice while he had the pad see euw with chicken. I think they must put Maggy sauce in their fried rice, because it was delish, with an added dash of umami to it that was quite addictive! This is the new Rosa's Thai, and it is wonderful. Of all of their restaurants, this is the most open and pleasant in terms of feel. This comes largely from the corner location and slew of large windows, though even the basement doesn't feel at all dark or overcrowded. The prices are the same, and the menu is an exact replica. They have a supplementary menu as well, highlighting dishes from Laos, though I've not been to Rosa's SoHo to know if this is taking place at all of their shops. Getting a seat is a breeze - I've never seen a line. And the staff here are the nicest of anywhere I've been. It feels like a nice, pleasant Cafe rather than a busy central Asian food chop shop. Maybe it's the atmosphere, but the food just seems like a bigger portion made with more quality here than in their other shops. Anyways, give it a go. Mediocre food + small prices + over priced = not great. I ordered the chicken satay and the pomelo salad, and upon being asked, said I'd like them to come out at the same time. They food came quickly, but the salad was clearly not what I'd ordered (they brought a bamboo salad). It was busy so it took me a good 5 minutes to finally get one of the waiter's attention to tell them they brought the wrong food. By the time I finally got the right salad, I was completely done with the chicken satay. This was irritating, but I was so excited about the pomelo salad I didn't mind too much. Unfortunately the salad was both tiny and not tasty. The pomelo itself was under-ripe and bitter, the salad was over-dressed (with far too much fish sauce), and it appeared they'd added extra heat to account for having virtually no flavor. The only part I even enjoyed was the (slightly overcooked shrimp). I was still quite hungry, but I couldn't finish the salad regardless. The place was full and really loud. The tables were so close together they might as well have been communal style. None of this is a deal breaker per se (I'm assuming other items on the menu are better), but can't give it anything more than 3 stars = meh, ok. read more

I really liked the vibe of the place when we arrived we were greeted and sat at a table for 2 by the window. They took our order and they had a local Craft IPA so I ordered that as well. We had the shrimp crackers with a spicy peanut sauce that was excellent. I have had the crackers before but the peanut sauce was awesome. After going to Thailand and having my fair share of Thai food, this place was a nice gem to eat in. Since I'm from the United States and more specifically, New Jersey! They have a lot of options where I'm from, and Thai food is one of them! After traveling on the air for 12+ hours and being completely exhausted, my friends and I were hungry and on a mission to absolutely get stuffed to the max! Here we ordered family style and got the 2 orders of the drunken noodles, 2 orders of the red curry, 3 orders of the pineapple fried rice, some tom yum, chicken pad thai and a couple of Change beers! All the flavors and the food were excellent, I especially loved the drunken noodles because of the fat wide vermicelli noodles that were used! Overall we paid around £122.40 ($155) for our dinners and beers. The sizes are definitely a little smaller on the portion size, but it was tasty and full of flavor so I didn't mind! 4 stars! The decor in the restaurant was nice and modern and everything looked very clean. They only make reservations for tables of 6+ so my boyfriend and I chanced it and were in luck and got seated right away (it was a Wednesday night). It was quite empty when we got there but by the end there were a few people waiting for tables because it got so busy I've heard lots about Rosa's so I wanted to try it myself. My boyfriend and I tried the chicken satay and the grilled sausage to start. The chicken satay was average but I loved the peanut sauce. The sausages were good and spicy but a bit dry and didn't come with any sauce (I'm a sauce person) The mains were much better. My boyfriend got the thick red chicken curry and I got the butternut red curry. Both were exceptional in my opinion. They had the same flavours, mine was just the veggie option. Mine said it was supposed to be spicy while his was supposed to be moderately spiced, but I couldn't really tell the difference. The dishes didn't come with rice so we had to order them as sides which is annoying but I guess to be expected. Would go again! read more

We decided to use Rosa's Thai Victoria for office lunch - we spent £140.00 only to be disappointed and angry. Dishes at the restaurant are served with rice and noodles as part of the dish. However upon collection, at a slightly higher price than eating in (average £10 per dish) NO rice or noddles were provided. This is not explained on the take away menu and as the price is the higher than the restaurant, it is expected that you would get the same dish!
