Most of the time, the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. My toddler lets her clothes hit the floor and we have to change her completely because someone else's urine is all over the floor. The toilet seats have poop on them, even the door handle is questionable. Why am I giving 4 stars? The staff!! No matter the time of day or the amount of people, they are always so nice! They interact with my kids and make jokes, always smiling and offering to help. It's funny because I have watched the same person interact with a truck driver who doesn't want to be bothered and they tone down the smiles and jokes. I'd stop here for gas and definitely stop here for some snacks, but go down the street to use the bathroom.

The convenience store is above standard, having both Coke and Pepsi products at the fountain and lots of hot snack items (Gotta keep the truckers' bellies full!). There is plenty of parking for regular vehicles, RVs and semi-trucks. That is always a plus. Also, I could be wrong but I believe I saw a truck weighing area. I dont know if it is still in use or in service. I am not sure so please dont quote me on it haha. The pumps are not to busy and you dont have to wait for a pump. Nothing is more annoying that waiting for a pump. There are plenty of pumps and the wait times are short, if any. They have little knick-knack/souvenir items inside along with your regular snacks, drinks, water, coffee, etc. Inside the store. Not a bad place to stop. The cost was very reasonable. Cory is friendly, loves to help, and has an abundance of positive attitude/energy. We did not expect a flat tire experience would turn into an absolutely positive encounter that actually made our day!

But once you're inside you'll be glad for the break since service is warm and friendly, food selection is decent and the gifts are interesting. During winter the area can get pretty sketchy driving, so be forewarned. Lots of blowing snow and temps are much cooler. On the plus side the drive south will take you past a gorgeous lake and a quaint little frontier town.

Gas was high but I sorta expect that in places like this. We found the staff to be friendly and informative. We bought a couple of sandwiches and some coffee and enjoyed the views of the distant mountains while sitting on the picnic tables outside.
