STOLE MY CC INFO after I bought a DRINK!!!! I didn't even want a drink that bad. Mostly bought one out of respect to use the bathroom. Even asked before I went ahead to use it. So you wanna know how much they scammed me? $200 (3x) and then the gas station at Speedway across the street... They did the SAME thing after I bought gas! $175 (2x) SMH. It's a Chevron! Got my gas after visiting Monument Valley and found they don't mess around if you don't wear your mask on this date of May 20th 2021. But mainly loved how they had fresh popped popcorn. The car ride was like in a theater watching the beautiful scenery of beautiful mountains. read more

They have horrible customer service and it's not very clean. This store was in the same parking lot as our motel. We walked over and grabbed water, snacks, etc. Spent about $30. We got back and realized we needed ketchup. My husband walked back and asked for a couple packets of ketchup. He could see they were behind the counter. The woman told him he would have to buy a bottle. My husband said, I can see you have some back there can I have a couple packets. The woman just walked away. When you buy food at any place, they provide condiments. I'm not sure what the issue is here. Do better. read more

The fact that all the negative reviews are about masks shows how disrespectful and nasty most of the people these employees have to deal with are. If you can afford to travel with your whole family to vacation during a pandemic, you can afford a mask. Anti-maskers are some of the grossest people, so I really appreciate the strict covid precautions across the Navajo nation. Every time I stop here several people (mostly old men) try to enter without a mask despite large signs on the door. It's rude and entitled, and I'm embarrassed for them every time an employee has to enforce the rules. Most places lie on yelp/google about covid precautions. They actually take them here and it drives man-babies crazy lol I only feel bad for the employees who have to deal with these "adults" who always seem to have an exception because they're so special. read more

I would not suggest going here. We drive up to Colorado a lot and always pass through and stop. What I saw today was unbelievable and unacceptable. A man and his son came in and we're going to use the bathroom ( like the rest of us) and grab some snacks. Super nice people. The guy forgot to put his mask on and the cashier yelled at him- he just said "oh I'm sorry!" -he was angry at all. After being in there for 10 minutes and waiting for the bathrooms to open up, the woman cleaning them was done. She was pushing the mop passed the man and his son when she stopped and said, " He can't be in here. Do you even read?" The child wasn't 16 and apparently the rule is anyone under the age of 16 cannot be in the building. The man asked, "Can he use the bathroom at least?" She said, "The bathrooms are closed and he needs to get out." Here is the kicker once the man and his son left, the cashier yells at the lady cleaning the bathrooms, " Hold on! I need to use the bathroom before you clean it." Never doing business here again. read more

Really slow service and employees are not friendly or helpful. You can not use their bathrooms unless you are a "customer", and they only count you as a customer if you buy something from inside. So even if you buy gas from them you are not allowed to use their bathroom. read more

They were taking really good precautions to prevent the spread of covid, bathrooms were really clean, specific no of people were allowed to enter the store at one time. they had an extra person at the front managing the enterance and exiting people to prevent overcrowding Inside the gas station and bathrooms. I recommend gassing up at this station before you enter Monument Valley, that way you wouldn't have to worry about refueling later on. The next station is at Mexican Hat, but that Shell station is miles away when you leave Monument Valley. This Chevron is spacious and if your looking to potty there is a women's and mens restroom. Good service here the staff was working to clean the restrooms, when I had to go bad, they allowed us to go inside even though there was a sign saying closed for cleaning. There are hotels around the area, if you are looking to stay in this small town. Good spot to get refreshments here as well, I also got me a Rockstar Coconut Water Energy Drink here to get energized and soak up the beauty of Monument Valley. read more

Don't stop here! The employees are extremely rude and unprofessional! They're super strict about masks and won't let you even use bathroom without one. It's ridiculous to block someone from using a public bathroom because of a mask especially after the mandate has been lifted. Seems like they live in the Stone Age here. I travel by this gas station in a frequent basis. Several of the pumps are always down, which is disappointing when traveling. The restrooms have been closed for the night several times, again a disappointment when traveling. People are always asking for money or soliciting their goods, not a safe feeling at night or in the dark. Staff isn't always friendly, minimal conversation, rarely look up from register. I will no long be stopping at this gas station. read more

Okay, they have fry bread here. I saw it sitting out just like you'd select a hot dog bun at a Circle K. I couldn't figure out what to put on it aside from some chunky meat soup I found. However, they had wrapped to-go "Navajo Burgers" which were fry bread with meat and green chili inside. Better get some ketchup, which I forgot. I also had a red tamale.
