I've been coming here for years. I pop in a few times a week, mostly for a big gulp (style drink) and maybe some snacks. Sometimes I buy gas here, since it's convenient for me. This place is unusual, though, in a good way. They have more staff than any other store like it that I know of. Plus, the staff are all very friendly and helpful... and I mean all of them. It's not an easy spot either. They get a ton of middle schoolers and many unhoused people. I've witnessed many incidents where people didn't have enough money or caused other problems that would have been a huge deal at most places. However, the staff here always seems to handle situations with both charity and grace. I don't know who owns/manages this place, but if I had my own business, I'd try to lure them and most of the staff away. They have many bad reviews below. I feel bad. I've never used the car wash, since I not one to wash my car. However, I will say they just totally redid their car wash this year. So maybe the reviews below have more to do with the old one. The gas isn't the cheapest, but it's not any more expensive than your average place. I guess you can't have it all, though. Huh? read more

I was surprised when I went to buy cigarettes here and theye actually had a decent price advertised. 2 packs of my brand for $7.77 with a sign that was clearly in front of all 4 version of that brand. I paid (the purchase amount wasn't on the display) and it came to 8.75 a pack. I pointed it out and the counter person said "Yeah that ended yesterday we just have taken down the sign. I told her that the law says you have to get the price they are marked. Then she pivoted to " Well the sign doesn't say which brand" . Really? It's clearly for what the sign is 1/8 if an inch in front of the center of the product. Then she said well you can return them but you ant get that price. This is a clear violation of California consumer law. Ok it was only $2 more but when see that I think "What else are they overhanging for?" Their gas is crazy expensive and you can't count on paying what the signs say at this store so STAY AWAY. read more

There's just one older lady that works the overnight shift this morning Feb 18th at this Chevron. She's out of control. She's completely rude and ridiculous. I was waiting patiently for her to come to the window. She was mopping the floor inside the store. The doors were locked. I didn't want to disturb her. I waited patiently took a phone call and was waiting near the window to make a purchase when i hung up. She comes over and starts telling me. I'm on private property and that I had to leave. Restroom accessibility, I'm a 61 year old male and had an emergency but restroom was out of order according to employees. I fuel my work van every two weeks $130-$150 at various chevron locations. This left a bitter taste to use chevron again. They should have a better consideration for bathroom use specially for us older patrons. I ended having an accident in my pants. Relatively expensive gas to other Chevrons in the area. This review is specifically targeting the WORST automatic car wash of all time. It's super slow, takes 6-9 minutes per car so be ready to wait in line a solid 40 mins before the wash even starts. Other reviewers optimistically call this a "touch less" wash. This is complete garbage. Sides of the vehicles are completely devoid of any washhing and thus, my pictures of the post-car-wash scum. Went for the touchless car wash. Only drive thru wash I could find in the area. Did the job, equipment is more new than places I've gone before. Dryer gives you plenty of time before you exit. Four price options: 8, 10, 12, 15. Way better value then places like Glendale Classic Car Wash and get it done faster. Will be my new go to when I'm in-between hand washes. Popped inside. This place has the most expensive gas in the area, is grossly understaffed and often closed for "renovations". Meanwhile, it is common that pumps are out of service while the other ones have a car parked in front on it with no one inside. Had the worst experience at this gas station today. I come here often because I live right around the corner and I had never had a bad experience until today. I'm not one to write a review as I understand that dealing with customers could sometimes be a pain in the butt as there as so many personalities you run into. Long story short Coraila needs better training in customer service as she was very unapologetic for HER mistake. She then proceeded to try to be little me by saying "what does she want me to do give her a free bag of chips or something like there's nothing I could do." Great gas station, located right on Colorado and Figueroa. Prices are average, space is large, (easy to go around cars to get to the pump that they should have pulled up to), window wash things are always full... There is also a large, clean store as well as a car wash. Bonus! Since it is so close to home, this has now become pretty much the only station that I fuel at these days. I've yet to have any interaction with an employee though. I'll be sure to update if I ever do. read more

I have been a long time customer at this Chevron. Today I bought a Diet Coke bottle, a Coke Dream, and a pint of ice cream- cost $13.47 but I knew already I was paying for the convenience. I also purchased $40 of gas but I purchased that with cash and the products with my debit card. When I got home and gave my mom the Diet Coke- it had a horrible smell to it and the top of the bottle was tinged green. I took everything back because I didn't trust the other products since the Diet Coke smelled so bad. Now I know that it's not the employees' fault but of course they have no manager or lead to assist a customer with a refund if there's no receipt- even though I showed them the charge for that day in the exact amount of the three products and the girl that charged me was there. They needed some special code. Now the female cashiers were trying their best to contact the manager and help me, but a male there who said his name was Mando was antagonizing me, said the Diet Coke smelled like Diet Coke to him and wasn't expired, said it didn't matter if the manager was there- i still wouldn't get a refund without a receipt, & was continually talking over me. I am so disappointed in this Chevron, I really am. I left a voicemail for this manager. I am planning to go in tomorrow to speak with a manager. I know there are protocols, but I wasn't trying to scam Chevron- I just wanted my $13.47 back for the bad product and the 2 products I didn't trust anymore that I hadn't opened (the Diet Coke was full minus that one first drink before the bad smell hit my mom's nose.) I am just so sick of being loyal to businesses that apparently don't care about their customers. A lead or manager with all access codes should be on the premises at all times. Been going here quite a few years. Just like I did today. Chose this station over others to get what had been an eleven dollar car wash, which is now $12! Paid for gas and car wash at pump. After filling up I drive towards the car wash and it's closed. I was asked at the pump if I wanted a wash, I wasn't asked if I'd like to get it after an hour or before 14 Days. Into the Mart to get my $12. I was Told "Cant give a refund" they're cleaning it now, ask the Manager inside the car wash. Which is exactly what I did, the Manager told me "we don't give refunds but you have 14 days" Specifically I believe she said "we can't" give refunds. Why would you offer and take money when the service is not available? Too much trouble to stick signs up or change the offer from appearing on the pump screen? How many people pay for this service only to find they were ripped off, this is worse than your purchase from a vending machine not dropping out! How many people will not be able to return or perhaps lose the code printed on crappy paper which fades. "We can't give refunds" of all the stupid ass lazy and dishonest responses to a customer whose $12 you have taken with full knowledge you can't provide what they are paying for! Shitty business practice. Do this a few times a week and the dishonest harvest of dollars could be quite tidy. Very poor business practice by people who obviously don't give a crap! I'm sure they work hard, but don't flick the moron switch in your head to avoid acting as a responsible Business person. Talk about a "don't give a shit attitude" ‍ I often think well of people in this line of work, dealing with the public is at times difficult and dangerous. This place always seems to have oddball issues when I have stopped through here. It is a regular Chevron station a block away from the 134 freeway. On the corner of a major intersection it has a number of pumps an extra mile c-store and a car wash. The pumps get crowded quickly and the c-store often has a number of random visitors. I have never been there when the car wash is in use, thank heavens since it's a total zoo without the car wash in action. Pro Tip: Bring cash just in case. One of the problems they have had happen twice while I have been here is that their ATM & Credit machines have gone down. That includes the onsite ATM. In other words they have had an electronics/internet connection failure. That is a big problem since it also has affected the gas pumps! Also never forget this is another great stop to pick up some lotto duckets if you need them and the jackpot is climbing like mad! Not once have the receipts on your pumps worked. Every time I've been here, it tells me that the receipt is inside. For the amount you guys are charging for gas, the very least you could do is make sure the receipt paper is loaded at the pumps and stop inconveniencing your patrons. read more

Wow. This is an amazing gas station. Ample cigarette selection. Clean toilets. Nice gas pumps. Big store. Coffee was a strong, McDonald's type Arabica blend for $1.29. They also have a car wash. The $6 option is perfect! (I haven't tried the $8 and $10 option, but I have earned two $10 with the punch card for car washes). Staff is friendly. Be sure to pay for car wash and get the punch card. High pressure sprays, Plenty of soap, Timer to let you know how long you have with the drier. No scratches from dirty towels or rags. Car Wash Review: I was looking for a Touchless/Brushless carwash near Pasadena and I found this place. I was able to pay for the carwash while at the pump (no savings on gas price though). The receipt contains the code needed to activate the carwash. I opted for the $10 carwash with all the bells and whistles. If your car does not have bugs embedded then this does a fairly good job. Because nothing scrubs against the paint ,and the water pressure is fairly low, it does not get bugs that are caked on like after a drive from NorCal. The carwash is almost completely brushless except for the rim cleaner. My tires did not get completely clean but for the most part it gets the rims clean. The air dryer runs for ~60 seconds with a visible timer to your right just past the car wash exit. You can go forward and reverse to get all parts of your car dry. It is wise to bring a towel to get the water off that the dryers missed. Overall, I am a big fan and very pleased. I will exclusively go here verses washing my car at home now just for the time savings alone. I rated it 4/5 because the wash was unable to get the bugs off the front bumper. read more

The Car Wash Is not really a wash but a rinse. I honestly hate paying for car wash.. so i normally do the drive thru once since they're cheaper and no tips needed. This one doesn't have a brush.. only strong water pressured hose and a smell good three second soap. For days when you can't take how dirty your car is but not sure whether it's going to rain the next day, this is probably the place to go to. DONT EXPECT a squeaky clean car wash. It's not happening.
