After pulling in to the parking lot and arranging for a tow truck the employees came out to make sure we were ok. They brought out water for our little dog and continued to check on us. We were waiting in a shaded patio area for the tow, and they even offered to possibly have the owner take us in to Vegas to the dealership where the car was towed. With Covid we could not ride with the tow truck driver and the area was too remote for Uber or Lyft. Every person who stopped at the market asked if we (and our dog ) were OK. We were able to arrange transportation to LV. In closing I want to say this was best example of customer service and human kindness I have seen in a long time! Hats off to the employees and owner of this market and gas station!

The employee never mentioned that they weren't matching items or that he wasn't actually getting the qualifying BOGO pairs. When we realized the mistake the next day, we went back hoping to acquire the matching fireworks so we could complete both BOGO sets. We weren't asking for a refund or an exchange--we were happy to spend more money. We simply wanted to get the two qualifying fireworks that should have been paired with our original purchases. The manager told us it had been too long and wouldn't honor the promotion. That was frustrating because the situation could have been avoided if the employee had pointed out the mismatch during checkout. Instead of helping us spend more money at their stand, we left feeling disappointed. We'll likely think twice before returning next year, not because of the promotion itself, but because of the lack of customer service and willingness to make a simple situation right for loyal customers.

It was meant to be... Or…read more How a stranger became an instant friend and a key player in the Quest for the Statesman Badge! This little convenience store in Arizona is like a wayside shack. It's not visible from the main street, so just drive slowly and keep your eyes alert! The Dam Store is known for its high incidence of lottery winners. There are flyers posted on the windows with cash award amounts and winners' names. Of course, I had to get at least one ticket. It was a souvenir from my quest for the Statesman Badge! Yay!!! I didn't know that there were different lottery games. The friendly cashier helped me select the game with the highest reward ($13 million). I wasn't able to check in on my Yelp app because I had no signal from AT&T. Luckily, Jean C, of Las Vegas (we just met in real life) has Verizon, and suggested that I used her phone to check in! Thank goodness she came along for the ride! She is a Genius! Her idea worked! Hurray! I had check ins from Honolulu, Nevada, Utah, and now Arizona! The coveted and long sought after Statesman Badge was finally mine after years of trying! Let's hope our lottery ticket is lucky, too!

It's covered in turf and they provide poop bags and trash cans. There are a few fire hydrants for the make dogs. It's completely fenced as well and I'm sure it's well lit at night. We were there during the day. The store was very clean and organized. The employees were nice and friendly. I would stop here again if the need arises.
