Chevron Gas station and car wash is located on University Ave right at the corner before exiting off the 15 North offering a convenience store, gas, and a car wash with vacuum. I came through on a weekday right before noon for a quick fill-up and decided to get a car wash since I needed it. After pumping my gas, I head over to the car wash to look at all the services they offer and decide on picking one. They offer the basic car wash to the most premium car wash with lava foam, tire clean, and coat sealant. After looking at all the services my first initial thought was these prices were way to high for a car wash but still preceded to enter and chose the 3rd to least expensive wash thinking I was paying for the quality of service vice quanity. As I entered, the young attendant hands me over a towl to wipe off my car and 2 air freshners to hang up in my car. I go ahead, put my car in neutral, and let the car wash start. First off, yes, there was a lot of foam and water action going on, but right before I knew it, the car wash high pressure dryers start blowing. My first initial thought was wow is the car wash already over? It was just under 2 minutes, and I was in and out within a jiffy! As I pull out, I enter the vacuum area to finish and dry my car while vacuuming it. There was a sign posted saying vacuums are limited to 5 minutes and are only to be used by paid car wash customers. I noticed more, and more cars were coming in without even getting a wash and using just the vacuum. Overall eeh I experienced much better customer service and gas station car washes in my time. I, however, do love Chevron with techron gas and the quality of it, but today, I was not just feeling the overpaid car wash. read more

Not very detailed drive thru car wash for a cheap price, I tried once that's it, compare to a Costco drive thru car wash, I would go there any day. This place had cut corners on their wash process, especially if you have some tough spots on your car that haven't been cleaned for a long time, it won't get things done for you, the soap is there just for show, nothing got cleaned, it's like they just hose your car down with cold water, that's it. Try a better place that worth your money. read more

I give this chevron 5 . They are cool staff members, always courteous and professional. And always with a nice smile. Even the one lady I like the best with the braided hair. Real nice lady , and she is looking real nice every time I go to visit, and buy gasoline. Just one time I had bad experience at this chevron, it was not anything to do with staff. It was a colored lady who was washing her god dam dogs ass at gas pump. I told her go wash her dogs ass somewhere else and she started woofing all kinds of madness. I am not going back. My car came out dirty and they ration the towels. No other car wash that I have been to does that.

The car wash here is ridiculous. Today I paid the top price ($13) for their top level car wash. My car was in and out of the wash in about 2 and a half minutes. After it was scrubbed with the blue brushes and rinsed, no wax or clear coat was applied. Surface dust was still on the car after the wash. I approached the attendant, who got a manager. I was told, "we don't get no complaints about the car wash." I told him that the promised wax and clear coat were NOT applied and asked if I could run the car through a second time while he watched to see that all promised services were provided. He said no. You can get a less expensive car wash that actually delivers what is promised at many other gas station car washes. Avoid this one unless you want to pay $13 for a quick rinse. read more

I give mad props for the recent freezing nights when the employee (employees) is there ready to work the car wash. I especially feel very thankful when Angel is working always with a smile even when it's hot out during the daytime rushing over to help dry customers cars :) I have not had one bad encounter with any of the staff here at Chevron they in fact will prorate your subscription for the carwash if you happen to cancel/down grade your plan for any reason with zero hassle! This place is a joke, they charge me extra dollar because I use debit card not cash for filling up gas for my car, it means that they encourage customers to use cash which is ridiculous, we all know that debit is more safer and convenient to use than cash, don't go to any chevron gas station, they are fee eating company read more

Not my favorite place to stop... I try and go elsewhere. Getting out and having to get back on the 15 is a pain... just go down the alley, make a left at the street, another left at the stop sign, another left at the light, and then right onto the freeway... way easier than trying to pull out on the street (right turn only and then to attempt to bust a u-turn in traffic). Not a lot of positives, its a Chevron at least. The negatives are the staff are no help, its always dirty, and that regardless of how nice the neighborhood may or may not be, the immediate vicinity is pretty sketchy :/ read more

The car wash is really sub-par. They recently decreased the price of the 'budget' car wash to $5.00. But what they fail to tell you is this is (probably) because the post wash dryer jets no longer work. Also, the hood of my Camry still had dirt stains which I noticed when I parked on a side street to dry off the windows and some of the chassis. Easily the worst drive-thru car wash I have ever encountered. I felt like they'd misrepresented what I was getting by not informing me that the car dryer no longer worked, Also, some of the pumps will not print a car wash ticket, so you are forced to go inside. read more

The attendant told me the card readers & keypad weren't working, but said I could pay inside instead. No. That shows he's fully aware of the issue, failed to put any signs up indicating the problem, having me waste my time to go in and try wasting more of my time & money by paying *inside*. I don't want to bother underfilling to not overpay, nor overpay then get my change back to make I'm full, by paying inside. If you go down the street, the Chevron next to the 805 is always atleast 11 cents cheaper than this one. Even though I live closer to this one, I'd rather go to the other.. This place does not know their cigarette wall. I honestly recommend you avoid this place at all cost. Just recently joined their monthly car wash program and when I went to get my car wash all I received was a wet rag to dry my car and a scratch on BMW from their car washing machine. When I brought it to the manager attention, I was told "you use the car wash at your own risk." Finally when I mentioned reporting the company to the "better business bureau" she could of cared less. This gas station has a descent sized convenient store and a car wash. However, I did not bother going inside or using the car wash (though the service couldn't save the overall quality of this station). According to Gas Buddy, it is about $0.20 more than other gas stations in the area (on average). It does have the Chevron brand to its name and is right off the 805. But overall, it's not that well maintained and unless you're going east, it's a hassle getting out of the area since there is only one way in and out. The freeway traffic doesn't help. read more
