Pulled in, raisin a dust cloud in the gravel parkin lot. This little mini mart is bigger inside than it looks on the outside. Lots of choices of chips and sodas and beer if you need that. In and out quick, though prices aren't the lowest, more than most supermarkets, like my med big bag of Fritos was almost $4 bucks .... hey gotta have gotta have. I'm glad this place is here.

Churchill or Yerington (our fair city) this is the place to stop and get gas. Gas is gas and if price was not in the equation I would still come here for a number of reasons: - The pump area is clean and there is a lot of space between pumps. - The squeegies are not all worn out and the wash water is clean and soapy - The papertowel dispensers are kept filled - The inside of the store is also clean and well laid out - There is a good selection of food items both healthy and road trip junk food - the salads are actually really good and they are generous with the dressings and toppings. - Staff are friendly - If you get a free loyalty card gas is 2 cents/gallon cheaper. What's not to love? Probably making the left hand turn across US50 to get in and out if you are travelling East. Not too bad, but prayer does help.

There is usually a wait to check out as there is rarely more than one staff member behind the counter but it still goes fast. Bathrooms are clean, place is well stocked. The place is always clean and helpful friendly staff. There is also a Terrible's casino, Denny's restaurant and Cinnabon inside. They have showers and a lounge for truckers. I stop here at least twice a week for gas and to use the restroom on my way to Reno from Lovelock. Make sure to get the app to get your 10 cents off per gallon when you stop there.

But once you're inside you'll be glad for the break since service is warm and friendly, food selection is decent and the gifts are interesting. During winter the area can get pretty sketchy driving, so be forewarned. Lots of blowing snow and temps are much cooler. On the plus side the drive south will take you past a gorgeous lake and a quaint little frontier town.
