As a resident since 1981 and player of these machines since 2009, I would suggest avoiding all Horse Palace casino's throughout the entire state of Wyoming. They have become cash cows and tax wtite offs for the owner. When you can't even hit a small jackpot of $30 playing .20 after investing $200 you know something is amiss. I know as well as the employees that these machines have been manipulated and are done so on a continous basis. People use win jackpots quite often two years ago but not now and not since the new owners took control. And this is why there are hardly anyone going into any of the Cheyenne Horse Palace's anymore. All the regulars have noticed the changes in the reels, free plays, less 5 free plays and mere pennies in the ones you do get. These machines are suppose to pay out on a percentage, this is no longer the case. And when jackpots are hit its not and hasn't been in Cheyenne. I love a good casino and when I mentioned to the lady at the local box store that I was going to the casino she told me there wasn't one in town. Odd I thought, however I went anyways. When you check in with Yelp they give you $15 credit, if this is your first time, they give you a $15 credit and if it's your birthday they give you a little extra . . . However what they didn't tell us is once you put the voucher in the machine, you can't pull your money and go to another machine. Also as friendly as the folks were - and they were real friendly - this casino looks like something my kinfolks put together in their garage. It's located in a strip mall, looks like you are going into a nail salon and there are various slot machines available to play. However this is a very small spot. If you are a local it's like going to the local bingo hall, however visiting from out of town, not where I would direct folks to and someone should have told us it's ALL slot machines! It is s very small casino, seems to be the locals whom are close to the one and only cashier wins. The games constantly glitch. Played a few and they were stuck spinning for several minutes. No help. Tried using my "promotional play" and it never worked. Honestly this place and all Horse Palace Casino need to be investigated and shut down. I popped in for a moment it was snowing on Sunday 3-01-2020. I figured i would put a few bucks in. All the machines I wanted to play were busy so I sat down at a Zeus machine popped in 100$ and on a 2.40 bet about 5 spins in hit a jackpot of over 3500$. 10 minutes ago My brother and I got 86 no longer ever to come back to any horse palace. My brother got kick out because he was walking around to see what slot machine he wanted to play. I was told by management that I was standing behind players to see if they were winning and so was my brother. Not true. I did hit the button to see what the jackpot was up too. I had a lady up in the front by the diva games tell me she was going to sit in chair and watch. I didn't think anything of it and she was told nothing and she sat there for a long time I get excited to know that people are winning and I will congrats them. I would ask if I could take picture they said yes. I was told in the entrance way that I made customer feel uncomfortable. I apologize to any customer that I made feel uncomfortable.
