I recently visited Chez Jordan to look for a wedding dress for myself. Upon arriving I was greeted by several sales associates who seemed to be scrambling around to decide who would be helping me during my appointment. Once it was decided that Nawal would be helping me, she asked me my budget ($2000), style, and wedding date. This is where my mental red flags went up. She immediately told me that they do not have much within my budget, then completely ignored what style of dress I said I was looking for, and instead showed me dresses that were not even close to what I wanted. Eventually, my mother, sister, and myself had to begin looking through the dozens of dresses they had and find anything suitable within my style. I found one dress that was stunning, well-within my price range ($1200), and could have been a contender had I not been victim to such questionable service. I will be taking my business to a more professional bridal boutique that will provide me with the experience and service I'm looking for. read more

What a horrible experience. And I'm upset when business owners don't own up to their mistakes or issues. Granted, this wasn't exactly their fault that the shipment from a 3rd party was late, at the same time, you are running a business, and part of that is providing a service for your customers - that includes making sure things arrive on time, and fixing it if it didn't. Let me explain. I ordered my bridesmaids dresses for my Sept 2nd wedding some time in APRIL. I had told them my wedding was August 11th, and they said I would get the dresses July 28th. It is now August 21st and I DO NOT HAVE MY DRESSES. They assure me that it would arrive tomorrow. There was a sense of confidence in her voice. I called almost twice a week, starting in the beginning of August. "Should be in within the week" she says. The next week, she says the exact same thing. I said, "you told me that last week". She tells me, "she JUST called them, and said within a week" The following week, she says "FOR SURE, this week" I tried to ask them , "What is the worst case scenario?" and each time, they assure me the dress would be here, and there would be no such thing. "Your wedding is in September, no worries, plenty of time". It is now 2 weeks before the wedding, and I called on Monday. Her husband tells me that it's being delivered. I said, I want a tracking number for my own piece of mind. They had ignored this request. Now, my bridesmaids are stuck getting a dress last minute, and I told them I will foot the cost of any rush alterations. Chez Jordan has offered to do alterations, but we still have to pay for them, but I don't trust them. I asked for a break due to the circumstances, but they keep refusing, and I'm at their mercy, I feel like I cannot demand anything. I only came here because he gave me a good price. At first they quoted me something higher than that I could get at Windsor Bridal. And scoffed at me when I told them, there is no way that I will pay this much for the dress, when I know I can get it cheaper elsewhere. My fiance helped me negotiate a deal, but really ended up saving just $100. Lesson learnt. I don't know if Windsor or David's Bridal have these types of issues, but at least I feel like they may have authority to deal with the situation to rectify the customers concerns. Would it have been better to pay the premium for a larger company to handle all of this?? And. Here's my biggest worry - the dress was discontinued at the time I was ordering it. They assured me that they can get it. I finally picked up my dress, and turns out the dress came from the actual manufacturer with the tag. Perhaps the reason for shoddy customer service is that I probably would not ever buy another dress from them, and I know this. read more

WORST DRESS STORE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to the store a month before my engagement . The sales lady who was co-owner helped me find a dress. She assured me that the dress i picked; the alteration lady would custom the dress to my body. I paid the price of the dress and was told to pay the alternation amount after i go in for my second fitting which would take 3.5 weeks. As it got closer to the date i was told to go in for my final fitting; I called to follow up. No one called me from the store. This was the response i recieved from the staff: " you called and mentioned someone in your family passed away so put the dress on hold" . After i heard that my anxiety went off the roof. After being on hold for 20 mins; i was told that it was a misunderstanding on the staff part; it was someone else who called and wanted their dress on hold; they had the same color as my dress. A dress store that big with different types and colors; it was very disappointing to know that they did not ask the name/number of the person but rather assumed. Being the kind of person i was; i was like its okay i still have a couple of days remaining; i can go in 3 days before my engagement and pick up the dress. The day i picked up my dress was on a sunday. I tried the dress ‍ it was not what i was told my alterations would be. Nothing was done to the dresss. The only thing done was the cleavage area. The staff member kept dismissing the issue and mentioning the fact that i should come again another day. I was fumming and heated. I made them call the co-owner ( i think her name was dahlia), she was so disgusting and non apologetic. She actually told my fianace that she probably gained weight; thats why the dress does not fit her. For someone to be a "co-owner" that was such a disgusting and unprofessional thing to say. I did not except that from her being the co-owner. I just wanted my money back at that point. After going back and forth for 3 hrs; she finally agreed to give me my money the next day. The sales lady told me to come at 7pm on Monday. Her tone made me second guess her. I went home and checked the store hrs; they actually close at 6 on Mondays. That was just very disappointing ‍. I got there at 550pm; their faces turned white. I made sure i made a scene at the store. I was so upset. I got my money and left. Overall, this is the WORST place to buy your dresses ladies for your special day. Save your time and money and buy from somewhere else. They do not have proper customer service skills, no empathy; and zero professionalism . The fact that they dont trouble themselves to do their job properly and just assume is just not exceptable. I gave them the benefit of the day; but in return they took advantage of my kindness. Being in the industry that they are in; its very disappointing that they do that to clients. They promise one thing and do another. I would NEVER go to this place again. I know this has happend to others; as per the reviews. Iam glad people are speaking out and informing others. I ended up getting a dress from another store; much prettier and with lovely sales people. They definitely need to invest time in training their staff and themselves on how to deal and communicate with customers. IN CONCLUSION; LADIES DO NOT SHOP HERE! I had an awful experience here. My consultant seemed very friendly, I even said yes to the dress! I held up the sign and even took pictures! When I went to the cash register to pay my deposit and fill out my information, I saw a sales associate packing up the dress that I had tried on into a garment bag. I was very confused because wedding dresses are always ordered and it takes months before it arrives (unless it's off the rack). I told the sales associate that I wanted a brand new dress because I'm paying full price (no off the rack prices). I was told that the dress i tried on was "BRAND NEW" and it had just arrived in the store earlier that week and that "no one else had tried it on". I let her know that I was not going to pay full price for a dress they pulled from off the rack They tried to make me feel guilty by saying "dont you trust us? No one tried this dress on" I was very hesitant at this point about buying the dress. They told me they would now order a brand new dress if that was what i wanted. I told them i no longer trusted that i would receive a brand new dress. They proceeded to tell me that if i did not purchase the dress that day that they would no longer be able to honour the price and it would be more expensive if i came back. I decided to not buy the dress. This was the worst experience i had when i was wedding dress shopping, i left feeling SO defeated. Went for an evening gown for a wedding and were greeted by friendly staff, selection was great and staff willing to help. We did find the gown and are happy with the service; have been there before but now under new management. Highly recommend for weddings, prom, eveningwear, etc. The ladies are so nice and willing to help. I also saw them bring over 20 dresses to the lady in the next room! They are awesome!!!! Just ask them what you want and they will make sure you get what you are looking for! I had one day, only one day to buy my wedding dress! Anyone having ever shopped for a wedding dress knows that you need at least 5 or 6 months! No store will even try to find you a dress in a day!! Not only they found me a dress but also they found me one that I adore!!!!! I bought a beautiful dress, it was a little big and long for me so the nice seamstress, Gohar who actually was very sick (I still feel guilty about it!) came to the store and made the alternations. I'm really Thankful to her! I'm actually thankful to all of them! They even had a show that day but they made sure I get my dress on time! I definitely recommend this place! They saved my life! They were the only store on 4040 steels that was willing to help a bride who needed 4 bridesmaid dresses in one week. Knowing I only have one week and have no dress for my girls (this is all because another store didn't deliver the right dress or in the right colour) they could have seriously ripped me off instead they helped me and offered me great service and a wonderful deal. They were the only store that had dresses in stock and available within 24 hours. They spent hours with me and found the perfect dress for the girls! Special gratitude goes out to Dalal who made all this possible. If only all retailers were as kind and caring as them! This business is a fraud and they misinformed us about the whole dynamics of our order (date the order was sent, when the order will be received and the manufacturer being closed for 2 months due to the Chinese New year). My bridesmaids' have had to purchase new dresses out of pocket and yet to receive a refund for a contract never fulfilled. CHEZ JORDAN CREATIONS is a big SCAM. Their existence is for one reason: to dupe innocent consumers. The store has absolutely no regard whatsoever for its customers. We ordered a dress from the store and we were advised that our order would arrive within 2-3 months. We phoned to inquire about the status of our order and to our surprise, we learnt that our order would be arriving much later than the initial date given. And when we asked why, we were advised that the manufacturer of the product would be closed for two months (in observation of Chinese New Year). Ummm, how absurd does this sound? I am more than certain the festival lasts for about 23 days and only one day is designated as a national holiday. Plus, if manufacturing companies in China closed for two months, it would not be 'a global hub for manufacturing' and 'the largest manufacturing economy in the world'. Evidently, the employees at Chez Jordan are incompetent, liars, insensitive to their clients' needs, and above all, scammers. I would advise anyone who is considering using their services to rethink their decision because I guarantee you will face a similar, if not worse predicament as I have shared here. In fact, there is a clear consensus here amongst us (reviewers): that this company, CHEZ FRAUDULENT JORDAN CREATIONS IS A BIGGGGG SCAMMMMMMMMMM!!!!! I arrived at this location a bit hesitant because of all the reviews online. However, I am happy I stopped by and checked out what they had. The place looks very elegant and it looks like a renovation has taken place. The team that works their is so kind, they greeted us as we walked in and gave us an opportunity to look around. Brenda was wonderful with helping us with what we were looking for. She explained the boutique had a new owner who we met and who helped us get a great deal on our dresses. They called us as soon as the dresses arrived and we went in to pick up. The order was exactly what we were looking for and the experience with Chez Jordan was very stress-less lol. BUYERS BEWARE! YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU ORDERED. I have had an insanely horrific experience at this store. Myself and my bridesmaids went into the store in October and they all tried on one sample dress that we fell in love with. The only issue was the color and the jewel belt, no problem we were told. We can notify the dressmaker to not include the jewel belt and you can pick a color from a swatch book. I picked a color and was also given a sample of it to take home to show my friends and use to compare for decor. The sales lady wrote on the receipt the specific color I ordered and to not include the jewel belt. My bridesmaids were then measured waist, bust, hips and length, with an additional 1 inch added to each length JUST TO BE SURE it would fit PERFECT. I will order all 5 dresses for over $300 each which is a lot of money but for custom fit and color it will be worth it. I received a phone call in December notifying me that my dresses had arrived. I made an appointment for January for myself and some of my bridesmaids to come in see the dresses and try them on. When we arrived we were not spoken to by anyone for 10-15minutes and then led upstairs to a warehouse like area with dirty floors and dresses on racks, including 'change rooms' in which the doors did not even close the entire way and had someone's shoes in them. Our dresses were still in the packages, not steamed or prepared for us (didn't I make an appointment a month ago?) the jewel belts which we specifically requested to not have were ON the dress (not to mention they were not even the same jewel belt that was on the original sample dress my bridesmaids tried on) and the color was wrong. I noticed right away it was similar, but not the color that I SIGNED FOR, PAID FOR AND FELL IN LOVE WITH. This was fraud. The saleslady proceeded to acknowledge that it was the wrong color and asked me if I liked it, in which I replied "it's okay......" (while freaking out inside). None of the sizes fit the girls in any way whatsoever, not sure why we even took measurements because that was useless. We were then told that they order "whatever size is closest to the measurements". It would have been nice to have been told that initially instead of being deceived in the way we were. We were all so horribly disappointed by the 'custom dresses' that arrived but decided to try to stay positive and paid our remaining balance. The following day we phoned the store and expressed that we were upset it was not the right color, the sales lady responded that she agreed it was not the color and would call the dress manufacturer and call us back. We never received a call back. I called back numerous times during the week and was yelled at, spoken over and flat out LIED TO by the sales lady 'manager' (and self proclaimed owner, although she was not the owner she stated that she is the owner when the actual owner is not on site). I was told that she called me and asked me if it was okay that I would not be receiving the color I ordered, but something very similar. This was a complete lie as I received no such phone call. No one would give us the name of the owner, contact information, hours that he would be on site and would not give him MY number and name to contact me. An owner that is not available to customers? Wow. After being lied to and yelled at by an employee on numerous occasions because she refused to give me a refund, which is what I am now asking for because I received a dress that is not the color I ordered and have lost all trust with them, we went into the store to continue to demand a refund. Ultimately we were not given a refund and I have now spent over $1000 and have nothing to show for it. I'll end this here but there were more horrific instances that occurred from disrespect, lies, and being yelled at on numerous occasions. BEWARE BUYERS, DO NOT SHOP HERE, THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEFS AND WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN. I chose to schedule an appointment here to try on wedding dresses based on a blog. From my experience there, I am taking the time to tell people what they might expect. The only service I felt I received was having the dresses I wanted to try on pulled out for me. Other than that, my time there was not pleasant or very inviting. Firstly, the store was freezing cold. My mom and friends were shivering in their winter jackets and meanwhile I'm half-naked trying on dresses and shivering! Secondly, the woman designated to helping me did not give me the service that I received in other bridal stores. The change rooms were tiny and left only room for me and 1 dress at a time. So, I would be standing there waiting to pass on one dress to her so that I could have the room to try on the next. Then, I would be waiting there for her to help clip and secure the dress on me. I literally had to call out to her for her to come and assist me or to take a dress away. In other stores, the workers were the ones waiting to help me out and I didn't have to ask them to assist me! In addition, she told me that "I was too confused" with my selection of dresses. Who are you to tell me what I want to try on?? Horrible service and horrible experience!! We called several times to see if my grandmothers dress came in and were rudely told that we weren't called so obviously the dress isn't in. My wedding was a few days away so we called again to see if the dress was in, and were told again after several times of being told no we didn't call you it's not in. Long behold they actually looked and to our surprise it was in fact in the store. So who knows how long the dress was actually there for. We took the dress home and tried it on, it was about 4 inches too small! If someone measures you and orders a dress specifically for you there is no way a dress should be that small I understand a dress being a bit big since generally dresses come in bigger since it is easier to take in than take out material. So the next day we went back and were told to pay for the alterations. Not only did the owner not own up for his mistake, they are charging us to pay for the alterations and were completely disrespectful to my mother and my grandmother. As an owner of a business you want to please your customers and make sure they are happy considering word of mouth is the best was to get business. So here's my words for you, avoid this place at all costs unless you enjoy bad service, owners that don't own up to their mistakes, late arrivals to your purchases and rude service!!!!!!!!!! read more
