Sharon Price has been in the salon business for 34 years. I've known her for at least 25 of those years and have been a longtime client of hers, One thing I can say is that she is VERY clean and takes pride in being meticulous about her tools etc. Apparently Jane N, thinks she knows more about the salon/nail business than Sharon does. She not only has her tools in a sterilizing solution and submerged at all times, the "plastic box" stores the tools. It is from a beauty supply store- not just some random plastic box!! What's disturbing is that Jane N. can slander Sharon with no merit. She has NEVER reused a dirty towel; she does however, have at least three towels on her lap(CLEAN ONES), and flips them over and switches them out as she is working, so there is always a clean one on the top!!! .and unless your toe nails are bleeding, they are not too short. That is your opinion that they were too short. And just because you said all these derogatory things, doesn't mean they are true or factual. Just remember Jane N.,if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all!! Especially when discrediting ones reputation. read more

Chez Lou Lou offers the type of professional and personable service that is very hard to find. Everyone is so friendly and they really take the time to get to know their customers and provide the best individual service. If you are looking for a strip mall, one size fits all, this isn't it. Jessica is so knowledgable about hair color and works wonders. Sharon's Nail Spa offers a private and relaxing setting for manicures and pedicures. Unfortunately, Jane N. didn't realize that the plastic box that the tools are stored in has a drawer that drops into a sterilizing solution every time it is shut. Very cute salon! Sharon, the nail tech, is one of my favorites in the area to visit with. She always has my color choice I'd like, and really takes the time to make your nails feel fabulous! As a hair stylist myself, my nails are always covered in hair color & she always fixes them up & makes them beautiful! She uses a clean towel for every service, and her tools are always sterile. Her nail room is a nice escape from the craziness of the world, and I always feel so comfortable back there. Even when a nail breaks or chips, she is always willing to fix it right away! I have been a patron at many of the salons in Grosse Pointe- I have never been disappointed at Chez Lou Lou! They have friendly - personalized service. I am greeted by name by the owner, the assistants, the receptionist as well as my stylist Renee. I am always offered a beverage and the wait time is almost non existent. I have used numerous services- pedicures etc. and the staff is knowledgable and professional. Sharon's Nail Spa at Chez Lou Lou is the perfect choice for having a manicure and pedicure. I have been having Sharon do my nails for 34 years. Besides her being a wonderful person she is always professional. Sharon is a perfectionist about her job and is always extremely clean. She does everything she can to please her clients. Sharon has always been prompt. Many times I am the one running late and yet she still accomodates me. The private setting of her salon is very relaxing. I recently got my hair trimmed here for the first time. Kelly was extremely knowledgeable about products and she knew exactly what I needed for my hair. She also recommended a haircut and style that would suit my face. No products were pushed on me either, she just explained what problems she saw with my hair texture and scalp, then recommended some options that would aid those. 10/10 recommend! read more
