The best I can say about the food was that it was edible, which is the lowest bar to clear in these times where a meal out is more a luxury than ever, and it's the only reason I'm not rating this a one. Absolutely perfect crispy texture, and pillowy soft in the middle. They taste like they were twice-fried, almost Belgian-style. There is also a nice sweetness to the potato too. Real cheese curds for the poutine and though the gravy wasn't reaching the same heights as the fries, it was still good nonetheless. But to illustrate how good the fries were, my wife and I put in an order for fries alone after we shared a poutine. I can't think of any time or place I've done that before, but the fries were just that good. I only happened to come here since we were returning from the botanical gardens and it came up on a search. It's not necessarily a hidden gem as it's quite popular, but if this was more central, it would almost certainly find itself of 'must visit' lists, and it's probably a good thing that things stay the way they are.

It supposed to have capicole which is delicious as well, but I got food restrictions, can't eat it this time. Line is kind of crazy, I think they need a better system because once you get inside the line crosses itself which is kind of weird.
