What did I want? POUTINE! Where did I end up getting it?…read moreDELI GREEN STOP! Look, I did not have very high expectations of this small food court like establishment located in the bottom of this kind of mall place near Harry Rosen, but I was hungry and I wanted some poutine and this place just so happen to have it. There was no line when I approached and placed my order of just a single plain poutine and they were pretty quick to make it for me. There were no bells, there was no whistles, just a simple poutine and that's really all I was asking for. When it came out it was super hot and I really enjoyed it for what it what, a simple and plan poutine that did my mouth and stomach food. The cheese curds were melted just right, the gravy was just right, and the French fries were just the right level of crispy. Overall, Deli Green Stop did good by me and made some solid poutine. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and of course, the poutine was good.

They did clean up the place with a new paint job and tvs which is a lot better. 50 cents for a package of mayo (miracle whip) no thank you lol Last few times I've eaten from there my fries were uncooked hot dog soggy and burger. The worst part they used to have a good poutine now they put barely any cheese and charge you $3 if you want extra which for $2 more you can get another poutine. They are getting 2 stars only because I've been coming since I was a baby.

I was visiting the nearby Atwater market and couldn't resist stopping in for a pre-dinner snack…read moreafter having heard praise for its poutine. The space was completely empty around 6 PM -- this is a small, local greasy spoon that opens at 4 pm but really does most of its business in the late night/morning hours. The poutines are offered in five different sizes ranging from mini to familiale -- I got the mini ($8.50, tax included) and it was the perfect portion for one (particularly if pairing with another item), with just the right fries, sauce, and cheese curd ratios. This was actually my first time trying an Italian (bolognese) poutine and I loved it and may very well gravitate towards it again in the future. Traditional poutine gravies can be very hit or miss to me and often too salty, but I really enjoyed the acidity from the tomatoes and the rich, comforting flavors of the ground meat in the sauce. The fries were warm and tender, while the curds had both good flavor and texture. I'd asked for the sauce on the side because I meant to take this to the waterfront to enjoy, but stopped a few feet from the restaurant to sample at peak freshness, and ended up demolishing it there in the space of a couple of minutes (including every last drop of sauce). Cash only and not much to speak of in terms of service, but your order is prepared right in front of you and it was nice to watch the woman behind the counter carefully package my takeout order and layer the fried-to-order fries and curds. Essentially, this isn't the kind of gourmet poutine you'll see recommended on a bunch of travel blogs, but it is pure comfort food, and Restaurant AA delivers on all the aspects you'd want it to.

The clerk combined a trifecta of butter pecan, with mocha and maple (the two later soy based) into a green semi-translucent plastic bowl. Coming with a monogrammed "Les Crèmeries Dairy King" chocolate square and half a round chocolate cookie wafer. Note: the banana Gelato is yellow so not full on Italian authentic, but don't get me wrong, it's still nice to have Gelato on offer. Now for the update as promised for the their namesake the Hot Dog. The steamed option for 1.50 was in a Lester's wrapper, so that's that, but it had more and a better than average coleslaw. They also have a toasted and Michigan option for 2.00 and 2.50 respectively, and good to know they now accept debit to pay. On another sunny aft it was pretty hoppin', so looks like word's getting around, "build a gorgeous space and they will come."

They have a small pub-style menu as well if feeling snackish while getting your beer. Pints are 6/7$ and menu items range between 5$ to 14$ from light snacks to a meal type platter. Had both the chili and mac&cheese before, which were good enought to fill the hunger. The other items are nachos, cheese plate, onion soup and "pies". If interested, they offer "tours" of the brewery upon reservation upstairs where you will get a bit of the history of the brewery as well as a sneek peek of the factory before getting a sampling of the main beers.

So besides the amazing size terasse is there any other reason to come here ?…read more Decided to try this place out because well all the terasse around here are meh and wanted something large and awesome. We got nothing more then that. It's self serve and I get it because the place is HUGE. You would need 5 +waiters/waitress to keep an eye on Everyone. Nobody wants to stand up waiting for beer when you come to kick it and relax in the sun. Food Hamburger= 9$ .. (no sides) Dry. Veggie wrap= around same price & cold Cauliflower salad=7.50, went in the garbage. You are better to stuff your belly down the street before or after because it's not cheap to eat here and you won't enjoy it both Taste wise and money wise. Beer is good, two pints of pale ale $12.00 Nothing I haven't heard of so price I'm used to. If I were you order pitchers and leave it on a shady table on the terasse because getting up to get a beer sucks and you'll keep your beer cold. Would 100 percent come back just wouldn't eat anything and would stick with pitchers. Also after 5 it gets busy so come quick.
