I was told that Dipul, the owner, was one of the best--so I booked with her, and I can honestly say I have not regretted it once in the past two years! Dipul is amazing. She really listens to what you want. I bring her pictures, and she gives thoughtful recommendations based on my hair type and texture. Every time I leave the salon, I'm thrilled with both my cut and color. She was asking Jordan the entire time what color to do and how to do my hair.. she shouldn't have even taken me on if she wasn't able to do color. And this was after coming in for a separate consult before even booking me an appointment! I had weird chunky bleach stripes and looked like a skunk and thankfully Jordan had me come back and fixed it and I've been going to her ever since for trims and anything else I need done. Jordan is so chill, easy to book with (go through her insta or text, not the shop itself if you can) and just a genuinely cool person. If you want ANY kind of color service please save yourself the trouble and only book with Jordan. The other girls seem to only really be experienced in cutting and styling longer straight hair from what I've seen so anything beyond that is at your own risk.

When I showed up 15 minutes late as informed, and actually sat in her chair , WITH her hands in my hair, Juanita begins telling me "30 minutes makes a difference when getting your hair done, which is true." Although I was in her chair at 3:50 which is a 20 minute difference like I called and informed her in advance. Juanita had every opportunity to tell me that it was too late when I was over the phone but she did Not, instead she insisted that I come. She also has typed that she "extends her weekday hours just for you" and that's clearly not true. I find it very unprofessional of a stylist to complain about the time I showed up when I called in Advance to say I was running late. Her words exactly to me were "WELL, I'm leaving at 6 pm" mind you, that was at 3:50 p.m Not to mention, I made my appointment on May 12 th and I specifically said when I was making my appointment that I was totally available for any hour on May 13 to come in, but I was told that "May 12 was completely fine." My hair was done and I was out of her chair at 5:45 p.m and never received a single apology for any of the rude commentary. The first time I got my hair done (April 15,2021) it was $150 equaling a total of $151.37 Yesterday (May 12, 2021) my hair was $150 and I was charged $156 even!!! Late at night the night BEFORE the wedding she tried to change the time to hours earlier. I could not change at that point as everything had already been scheduled: photographer, bouquet delivery, etc. Who tries to reschedule at 10pm the night before a wedding?! She continued badgering me past 11pm when I was trying to get sleep for wedding day. The next late morning, day of my wedding, she revealed she was not coming at all. I found out about her cancelation 4 hours before I was to be ready. I was left in anguish having to scramble to find a solution. Because of Daurisa, I was late to my ceremony by 45 minutes, and had to have my ceremony cut way short. Because of Daurisa, the excitement of getting married turned into stress and feelings of despair trying to find who could do my hair and makeup last minute. Because of Daurisa, I could not have photography of getting my hair and makeup done. And to top it all off, there was never an apology. She tried to blame me because I couldn't reschedule everyone around HER convenience. Weddings are a once in a lifetime event, and what she did and failed to do was not only unprofessional, it was mean spirited. I truly hope this will not happen to another bride.
