So whilst at the Clinique counter getting a free skin consultation I was directed over here by Kerry who had amazing brows! I got an appointment within 30mins which was great as they seemed to be flat out. They offer eyebrow threading and waxing, lip threading and waxing, eyelash tinting and eyebrow tinting. The prices are a little steep at £24 for the eyebrow thread but I persevered with the decision to go for it. Now, this is where it gets interesting! They use a piece of thread to literally pull out the hairs and shape your brows! It is mildly uncomfortable but I could feel hairs being removed that I didn't even know were there! I was in awe of it all! And the result? Amazing! My brows looked fantastic and they weren't bright red for the rest of the day either as I know they would be after waxing! Seriously, if you haven't tried eyebrow threading, get down here, its fab. And I don't have to go back for 4 weeks!!!!

I felt special from the moment I walked in and didn't mind stripping down to my nags in front of strangers as the girls are lovely, really chatty and interested in the customers needs. I was very pleased with the eyebrow wax and felt they had really got all the stray little brutes that other places miss sometimes. And my tint was a very deep black just as I wanted - I left feeling on top of the world and looking forward to my next visit.

They offer free consultations and are stockists of all the usual brands of spray tan such as Fake Bake, He-Shi and Sun FX. Sun FX would be my brand of choice in this salon - they gave me a really nice even tan with no appointment and no streaks for only £15. As well as offering all the usual services such as facials ad nails they also have semi permanent make up and a male grooming service. The semi permanent make up is £295 for the make up and a revisit and a top up - I personally would not be a fan of this but I have heard people say they do a really good job! I think this is a great place to nip in for a bit of beauty treatment if you are in the center of town - it is good value for money, friendly and convenient. Plus, I love the fact that they advertise all their special offers on the front window so you know what to ask for and how much it will be before you even go into the shop.

However, the quality of my wax has never been great. I've seen several different beauticians, the first girl left my bikini area bruised after every wax I had with her and the rest normally left large patches of hair. I been waxing for 10 years now and know that 6-8 weeks is the right amount of time to leave between my waxes to get the best results. Despite this at my last appointment my hairs were just broken rather than removed. There were also several large patches of hair that had been missed on my legs and part of my bikini area. Including both my knees, ankles and feet. At £45 each visit I'd expect better quality, for this reason I've decided to go else where.

Salon do monthly offers on their website/ facebook pages so I popped in recently for a gel polish and eye trio (Brow wax, tint and lash tint) for £25 which is a total bargain. Good quality products used and the salon is decorated in a pop art/ Hollywood vibe. You can book online too which I love and the staff are very helpful in recommending treatments that would suit if you have any concerns. Open late to 8pm on Wed, Thurs & Fri evenings too.

After filing (in the most awful, uneven shape) the therapist Amy moved straight to painting...therfore painting the nail filings ONTO my nail...giving a LESS than desireable finish. She quality of her polishing was worse than the filing - much like how your nails look when you paint with the left hand. To be fair to 17 yr old Amy she will probably be amazing when she is working full time and has left tech. But for now a bit more practice on some false nails wouldnt go amiss. Im now home with a handful of smudged, warped, uneven messes of nails. Prob wont be back.

In Blossom Clinic even after the 1st time the results were amazing. At least half of the hair has fallen out, and the rest got much thiner than before. I had 3 sessions now, and I only need to shave the area once a week - it was a daily program before. The girls are all lovely and very knowledgeable, all of them are nurses, you are in the beat hands in there. They are doing other treatments as well, fillers, botox, tattoo removal..etc. The prices are also affordable and has offered me to pay in installments. Would recommend it to anyone, best money I have ever spent for beauty treatments. Ps. Not only for ladies ;)
