I frequently inquired about how to cope with anxiety (which should not be hard to help someone with if you have a doctorate in psychology! Very much questioning the legitimacy of that), and he beat around the bush with every question I had. He would say things like "that's rough" and never gave me an actual answer. On top of that, Wellman and Associates promised only a $10 copay for therapy sessions, yet billed my insurance for psychiatric evaluation sessions, leaving me with $100 charges for every session! They did not disclose this service they said they would be providing yet they maliciously went behind my back to pocket insurance money for their benefit! When I tried to contacting them about this, I received no email response and no one answered the phone. Please do yourself a favor and skip this group - they're extremely fraudulent and your mental health is the very last thing they care about. Very malicious behavior!

At least, not until I met with PA-C Jacob Krasner. In my time with him, he has done an exceptional job at being understanding and extremely thorough. He is very knowledgeable and one of the few I genuinely trust with my care. Anila and Miranda are some of the kindest people you will ever meet. It is not often I feel okay or safe in the hands of others, but when doing treatments with them, I do. They are very gentle throughout the process, are wonderful at checking in with you, and just make it a comfortable experience overall. I had the chance to greet Dr. Lurie and he was very kind. I had approached him with some questions out of curiosity and he was very responsive, gladly proposing we meet to discuss further! I enjoy talking with this team both as my care team and just about our days. I also really enjoy hanging out with the office pups! I really want to thank them for all of their effort. They truly are the definition of amazing. As someone who would eventually like to grow up into medicine, I see this team as a role model group. My son has attended a…read moregroup therapy session each week, some weeks 2x per week for 75 minutes that is run by a speech and occupational therapist for over 2 years now. So organized, always creative, lively, fun and interactive sessions. I have not found anything like it in all of Chicago and it is affordable, always a consideration when choosing therapies for a kiddo in need. They accept and bill insurance companies and are always easy to work with in every aspect. Very responsive to emails and questions which is so important especially when you as the parent might not know what might be going on or who to turn to with questions. I always appreciate that any request I have or concern to address, they help find a solution, have an idea or give a suggestion. They truly care about kids and try to help in any way they can. I have another child too and love that I am always able to bring him and comfortably wait in the waiting room without issue.
