If you love dogs, Denise brings her dog to every appointment. Denise's dog is well behaved and his calming nature helps me a ton. Therapy dogs are no joke! They do help people a ton. Their new location provides a ton of free street and neighborhood parking. If you don't have a car, they're right next to a bus stop on Armitage, so convenience is still there. This practice really cares about their clients on all levels (ex. mental, financial, emotional, and etc), so don't be afraid to try this practice. My experience working with Amanda Ferrari was overwhelmingly negative. After several months of therapy, I left feeling significantly worse than when I started. The experience had such a profound negative impact on my mental health, that after ending therapy with Amanda, I sought care from another therapist to help me process and recover from what I experienced during "treatment". I try to exercise care when writing reviews such as this one, but this is the type of therapist that you should avoid at all cost. She has, what I believe to be, a deeply rooted bias against men.
