I made an appointment in February through zoc doc. It was about two weeks out and perfect. I had planned my entire week around it and then the day before got n email they had to cancel my appointment. No phone call. I should have washed my hands of it and found a new practice. Instead 5 months later I try and schedule again. I actually get in this time. As said previously, the doctor was great, very helpful. I then needed follow up appointments and appointments to pick up equipment for an at home sleep study. The first pick up was fine, however slightly confusing with minimal instructions. I was then scheduled to drop off and pick up the next device which was cancelled and needed to be rescheduled, just the pick up. I still needed to drive there to drop off the device but was not able to get the second device. I was then scheduled, canceled, and rescheduled multiple times without notice or communication of this. Hopefully I'll be able to finish this sleep study and get the results in the next month or two, but who knows!?

Fortunately, in Illinois, most ABA (Applied behavior analysis) therapies are covered by insurance, but my biggest fear was, "Will they truly SEE my child, or will he be just another number, repeating scripts at a table?" Not when your child is part of the Orange Therapy family. Brooke, the director of Orange Pediatric Therapy, prides herself on creating an environment that operates and feels like family. For instance, she gave me her cell phone during our informational session! She texts clients. She is attentive, determined, enthusiastic, KIND and in lock-step with her team. Her clinic, much like her, is bright, warm, fun and purposeful. My 3 yo son is thriving, under Brooke's leadership and her "family" of licensed therapists, who are rigorously vetted and mentored under her wing. Orange also serves as a practicum site for the supervision and training of grad students. They are so lucky to have the BCBA's they do to be teaching and learning from. They truly are learning from the best of the best. There is no revolving door here and everyone is just happy! For having such a cute nose my entire life, I did get into a major accident as a child where I didn't realize how much internal damage had been done.
