At that point, I decided to discontinue my relationship with the company and they are refusing to give us back the retainer we put up to start off the relationship citing that I didn't give a proper 30 day notice. How can I give a 30 day notice when all the people I worked with at the company left??? What could have been a positive experience, ending the relationship on good terms, has unfortunately turned into a situation where I have to let others know how this company does business so you don't end up in the same situation I am in.

He was not very knowledgeable about a lot of the current laws and tax write off as he should have been. The office was extremely hard to get any questions answered when I called updates. I used him last year and would very much warn people not to go with him. Realize how incompetent he was until we've used a professional CPA that was very knowledgeable and professional this year. I mean during our initial consult he was all over the place standing up sitting down not looking us in the eye picking his nose I could not believe it. Yet, our fault. We still went with him.

We were in a bad place with a full services firm (planning, preparation, bookkeeping & payroll) that not only didn't do what they were supposed to do, but made a ton of detrimental mistakes and wrong filings with the IRS. L & M not only cleaned up our books quickly, but jumped on it taking care of everything to clean up the mess balancing things to the penny (as they should be) and correcting the federal and state filigs, as well as our employee W2's.
