The station is probably one of the nicest ones on the south side outside Beverly. It's a small Metra station that serves the Metra Electric line, which means it's one of those few that goes to Millennium Station, not Ogilvie or Union. The 111th Street Station is located in Zone C for Metra fare purposes. It's one of the least busy in the entire Metra system--apparently there are fewer than 50 people boarding here on average each day. Given its infrequent use, there aren't any services here; you won't find an agent, but on the other hand that means that if you have to buy your ticket on the train you won't pay a surcharge for buying it from the conductor. Parking isn't available for this station but there are CTA bus connections. Most unfortunately, this station is not at all accessible. There's 30+ steps to the platform, but you won't find an elevator here, I'm afraid, so if you need one you'd be better served by finding another station to use.

They be fucking things all up. A lot of stops all together around here. It serves the Brown and Purple Lines. This is between the Diversey and Belmont stops. Literally a few blocks away. This makes the trains go slower. It's a waste mostly and there's not much use for it. There's not that much farther to go if you aren't lazy. Has the Illinois Masonic Hospital. It's why this stop exists, if you're interested. There's still no need for this many stops together.

You can purchase a monthly pass or round trip ticket. Since I do most of my work from home, I buy tickets as needed. My tickets today total a little under $7.50 round trip. For a comfortable and relaxing ride, hit the rail to the Loop!

When there's a White Sox game this station is jam packed. As for the flip side, if there's not a game it's pretty quiet around here. There's also other ways to get to the stadium, but this is the most convenient and fastest usually. Among the things going on around here, there's nothing that tops a White Sox game. It serves the Red Line. The station is located in the middle of the Dan Ryan Expressway, so it's noisy. A benefit from being outdoors is the fresh air. There's not a bad smell. It's a pretty long station, stretching between 33rd and 35th so you have to give yourself plenty of time to get in and out. This is a much better way of getting to a game instead of using gas and paying outrageous parking prices, so you have more money for outrageous concession prices. Getting to the White Sox games is convenient from here. It's among a few public transportation options, along with the L station on the Green Line, and Metra. These plentiful choices means it's usually not a long wait for trains.
