There was an issue with the sending over the script and the doctors office called the pharmacy directly, and we set there and listen to the phone ring as they ignored the call. Needless to say we were told to check back the following day. This took 30 minutes of our valuable time and made my little girl get sicker waiting on a different pharmacy to be open the next day.

I would highly recommend patronizing this CVS store for the rest of your life because of one employee. "Sean" I was already having a bad day dealing with the situation that I was in trying to get a photo printed out. This young man Sean. Took patience, time and showed respect and commitment to the customer. Having a positive experience in his store. Mr. Sean went far beyond service to the customer and giving me the necessary respect and support that I needed just for a simple picture. He had no real idea of the stuff that I had been going through just to get this picture made. Mr. Sean show dedication and caring. They never communicate, and I need to call them, leave a VM to ask them to fill the RX that was sent. I never think to need to contact them. I assume they'll fill it, and if they don't, then they would contact me to say they aren't filling it. And why. It's a sealed (uncontrolled) bottle of fluid. No pills to count. Seems easy enough to just process it, and if it comes down to me arriving and saying: "oh no! My insurance won't cover it? So tragic!" Then I'll just pay the $34. If not, they can just put it back if I seriously refuse to find ways to cover what I clearly must have. They also never did a transfer I requested, then the next day (today) I call to find this out. That's where I just had a new RX sent there instead, because they clearly don't want to be bothered to do a transfer I guess. At least they call me back when I leave a Vm (the latest way to speak to a pharmacist) and that's where I said to please just fill the RX and I'll pay the $34 without insurance. And I was actually very kind and humble, but they hung up while I was asking when it'd be ready. Which prompted me to write this update: They still suck. And they're still the only 24/7 pharmacy nearby... So I still go there.

Having visited eight in the last week, from Auburn AL and Pass Christian MS and across Texas), it's easy to see how formulaic they are and how they all have the same features. Located adjacent to a busy highway exit, it's easy to access and they don't allow tractor trailers so you're not dodging big trucks. Huge expansive parking lot that rings the whole store. Dozens if not a hundred gas pumps, all clean and free of litter. Multiple entrances with handicapped parking immediately in front of each one. Inside, you'll probably get a "Welcome to Buc-ee's!" as you enter. As you walk around the store, you'll maybe here a shouted "Fresh brisket on the board!" as a new piece of beef is set out for slicing. In the center, a sandwich station where they're making up tacos and sandwiches. There's an area where they are candying nuts. A fudge counter. A jerky counter. A handmade tortilla station. Bunkers with snacks and fresher foods like salads, sandwiches, protein packs, cups of banana pudding and coconut pie. A wall of soda fountains with two dozen options. Coffee and fixings. A third of the store is consumed with decor. Some of it is very much Buc-ee's merchandise with tshirts, swimsuits, hats, jackets and the like. A seasonal tshirt on display. And much of it is Southern styled decor with the occasional bible quote or some other risque and double entendre. Clean restrooms. No, really. They pay a $40k a year salary to people to keep the floors clean, the counters wiped, the paper towels stocked and the toilets clean. I have never seen a dirty Buc-ee's toilet in ever. There a reason Buc-ee's is a destination and they're working to come closer to you. So , ok, they must of been swamped. So after ten minutes, it was my turn, a nice girl named Ashley ( I don't know if she was a pharmacist or a tech) but that is irrelevant... Ashley listened patiently to what I wanted to do to pay for the script, she looked at two options , but only one would work. ( I just wanted to pay for the script with my credit card, but the system wanted to keep my card under his name , to be on file, I wasn't comfortable with that) So Ashley had to go through some hoops to do what I wanted .. she had to put my card on file for my grandson, pay for the script, make sure it went through, then go through the procedure of removing my card afterwards.. I just wanted to give Ashley two thumbs up, for staying patient and kind and not getting flustered and annoyed for having to do these extra steps, to make me comfortable with what we were doing I know she was busy and I was taking a little more time because of the steps and explanations she had to give me ..she made sure my grandson got his medications, so he didn't have to spend a night in unbearable pain THANK YOU ASHLEY !! She looked us up on computer (prior shots taken at another CVS location) and we got the jabs. Quick and sort of painless. One less thing to worry about. She said they have had the current virus vaccine for several months that fights the latest version. Flu vaccine should be available in a few months.
