Go to hole in wall breakfast restaurants once a month. Found this place off 35 between Gainesville and Denton. Amazing atmosphere. Reminded me of old saloon. Bar converted to coffee/mimosa bar. Exposed brick. Coffee and food was Outstanding! My test of a good breakfast place is an over medium eggs and they nailed it!!! Definitely will be back and highly recommend!! read more

Omgosh From the minute we walked in to the minute we walked out Great ! Experience!! The service was perfect, NOT sure where this restaurant found these servers but they were all hustling and working with a smile . I know being a server is not an easy job. The restaurant was super busy , we were seated quickly and received our drinks immediately. Ordered our food and received it warm and delicious!!! My beautiful wife and I tried this restaurant on a day trip we took. We loved this place. It was situated in a charming town square. The place was pretty busy when we got there but we were seated within a few minutes. We loved the space and the friendly vibe. This was a small town and people seemed to know each other. One family had a little baby and our server held the baby while she waited on tables. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with hashbrowns , eggs and toast. It took a while for our order to come out but it was worth the wait. It was delicious. Their coffee was delicious. It was a smooth medium roast that they sold by the bag. I recommend this place. Do not recommend. We are out-of-state visitors, support small businesses and love the bluebonnet flowers. We saw the billboard for this establishment, and decided "Why not try it?" . Upon reaching the cafe, we were kicked out with no other explanation other than "It's a private party" from some rude lady that doesn't work there. 1. If it was a private party, please post a sign on the door or anywhere so the public is aware the entire establishment, not just a room, is closed for business. 2. If you are going to have random person speak to a customer, maybe you should reconsider who you let in. Would not waste my time here. read more

Haven't eaten AT the restaurant but if it is as good as the catering it's off the charts. Based solely on a referral, I used them for catering a family gathering of 30 people. I wanted a southern comfort food menu. Had chicken fried chicken, smothered porkchops, green beans, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, yeast rolls. Everything was outstanding. Rave reviews from the family. From what I have heard from others, everything - and I mean everything - Mexican food, Chinese, whatever they do is great. Food is home style - some of it is good and some is not. Service - is a hit and a miss. Owner walks around and talks to people she knows. Otherwise nothing. Ambiance - is always very noisy. Overall it's a 50/50 shot for every aspect of the visit. Last visit (March 2024) there was a long blonde hair in one of four, of us, plate. They acted like it was normal and took the plate back to the back and returned with a plate that did not have a hair. Wa-La - no hair now. No apologies and no consideration for a discount. Here's your ticket but no extra charge for the hair. Almost forgot: when the four of us arrived there were no seats available. But yet multiple tables were open. If you are heading to or coming back from WinStar stop here. It's in the middle of nowhere in a small town square. It's very cute. They have homemade cooking and coffee. The food has a different taste and feel compared. It's good but different. Hash browns seemed homemade and has a Smokey flavor. The pancakes are very thick and they are sweet. You shouldn't need much syrup. The latte was ok. I was expecting to see a leaf, but it was topped with whipped cream. Which was fine. Super friendly staff. We felt very welcomed. We plan to stop by again when we head back to Oklahoma. read more

Old town half saloon feel inside with the potential to have a table and chair on the patio for a beautiful day like today. They have a full bar from what I saw.
