The last 3 times thru the drive thru, they shorted me 1 corn on the cob, then 2 corn on the cobs. Then the most recent drive thru order I asked for a credit on 3 corn on the cobs. Before I knew it, I was arguing with the drive thru attendant cause she wasn't going to issue me a credit when I called them each time about the shortage. Then she gets the manager. He knocks off $6 off as credit. After I get home, I looked up the price for corn on the cob and it's $2.89 each. That's $9.39 with tax when I got $6 credit. read more

How is that even legal? It's false advertising and apparently you receive complaints all the time (is what your employee said). Some greasy girl with a low ponytail who looked like she just rolled out of bed was extremely rude and short with me when I went through the drive through. They forgot 2 items on my order and wouldn't look at the window when we tried to get their attention. All the employees were standing in a circle laughing and talking. When I told her they forgot something she tried to tell me I was wrong but quickly realized she was the wrong one and slammed the window on me and stormed off to get my missing items. When I asked if she gave me the right amount of one item, she looked at me like I was an idiot and made rude remarks. The order was incorrect completely as soon as I got home to check. Someone get this miserable little girl off the window and sat down for a break or something because I've never had a problem at this location until today. We stopped here on our way to Church tonight. We regularly order out from the ckn exp that's close to our home and we like their food. We went inside tonight and ordered our usual dinner of chicken breasts, fried okra and a drink. The dining room was almost empty. No line to order and our food was served almost immediately. The chicken was fresh, the okra was fresh and so hot we couldn't eat it at first. The dinner roll was slightly different from the ones served at other ckn exp and in my opinion much better. This is my first review for them because they now have some awesome spicy chicken tenders. :) If you have been eating at Chicken "E" before this isn't them sprinkling their hot and spicy serendipity seasoning on them after they are fried. They have a new flour batter with some new spices mixed in that gets fried with the chicken. For a fast food place the employees are super nice and do everything they can to make your experience at Chicken "E" the best it can be. We stopped at the one in Benbrook- the people were rude - we placed 3 different orders - we are traveling thru - Then my son goes back up to order a side of fried pickles the tell him it has to be to go so he tells them I Ann with a group and we all have orders we're waiting in so they make it to go any way then come out and tell us there out of green beans and gravy so my son ask so my mash Ed potatoes won't have any gravy she said ya but we don't have gravy for your chicken tenders - he said ok Then they bring it all out in to go boxes and she says oh my manager ask me to tell y'all that y'all need to leave to eat I because we are gonna close so we ask for our money back because y'all should have told us when we ordered them it was a ordeal to get money back and was treated very rudely . Possibly the worst customer service and rude behavior that I've ever experienced at a Chicken Express. When I asked about menu items not listed the manager arrogantly informed me that "they sell wayyyy to much chicken" to offer any "deals like that"...well you know what buddy? I'm the customer and I get to choose or not choose to walk into your establishment!!! Honestly I've never had a manager be so haughty and arrogant to me. Never again will I come here... ***update*** Still a 1* experience. This time we were treated well by the staff however our order was wrong. The real disappointment was the food...old grease and over cooked, heat lamp jerkified chicken that's honestly not even edible. I also ordered the catfish and got three of the toughest pieces of catfish that I've ever tried to eat. I tried to be the good guy and make my kiddos happy (we had a wonderful chicken E location near our old home). They have fond memories and keep expecting the quality of this location to match that of the old location...it never has. Ordered a meal with some extra sides and an extra roll to share with my child. I was annoyed that everything was crammed into one box. Fries were smashed and cold, roll was smashed, biscuit was smashed, all the breading was coming off the tenders since they were crammed in there, and there didn't seem to be as much in the meal since they made room for three other items in the same box. The food had a good temp and tasted as expected. The 4 drinks we ordered we all filled about 2 inches short of the top. Several with lids barely attached and tea spilled down the side. At the window you can see 5-6 employees wearing masks on their chins, so if masks are an issue for you I wouldn't eat here. I thought the customer service was just fine. There was a car ahead of me in line that seemed to be waiting on a custom order. The staff brought out the completed orders to at least three of us in line behind the waiting car so we didn't have to wait and the food was nice and hot. Well these folks started out strong when I moved here eight years ago......unfortunately the quality has continued to decline over the years. The grease factor is off the charts. I have always loved the tenders but it seems that over the years the tenders have become so salty as to be off-putting when I bite into one. The fried okra has been consistently good but now is so greasy that it's hard to taste the okra through the oil that permeates it. On our way to a 10:30 PM Garth show tonight we stopped for a quick bite. The fried pickles dripped onto my Miss Me's! Ugh! I love the hometown folks. I just can't get behind these folks anymore.
