And ... I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered a hot dog with bacon, cheese and mustard. The bun was toasted on the inside (win!), the 'dog' was nice (and kinda crispy on the outside), though I could have done with a bit more bacon. It was actually one of the better hot dogs I've tried! The menu board was full of what you would expect - yiros, hot chips and the like. But there were also a few baguettes (the yiros baguette is strange, but somehow tempting ...) as well as the hotdogs. More intriguing though is the coffee machine which greets the customer as soon as they walk in - I also spied a few sweet treats (a lemon curt tart, I kid you not!!), so I will definitely be coming in here in the next week to test out the coffee. I guess you can't always judge a place by the name and the decor ;)

It's in a small shopping centre so parking is no problem. They do fantastic roast packs and always have pork, beef AND lamb - not just one each day. If you're feeling seedy and need something a little greasy after a big night out their potato bake is mouth watering. They also do Yiros Stack Packs. Basically yiros meat with pita bread, chips and sauce of your choice. And they even have the balls to name the beef one Mad Cow! And if you have a sweet tooth.........make sure you grab a deep fried mars bar!!! The only place I know that sells them (sure there are probably others but I don't know where).

If you don't like things too spicy I'd suggest asking for light chilling. Their chips are also delicious and are better quality than other fast food places. I also love that you get a bottle of drink when you order a meal rather than the watered down stuff out of a machine. The chips themself were fantastic and we loved the fact they had a selection of chilli sauces too! To the burger.... it was OK. They have a menu board filled with sandwiches and wraps and there's something for pretty much everyone on the menu. They also have focaccias and pre-made sandwiches down in the glass case that are very yummy. There are two vegetarian options but anything can be made vegetarian. You can make a custom sandwich as well so you've got quite a few options. The only real negatives are that they sometimes take a while to take your order because it gets busy and the 'sandwich artists' don't know who arrived before who but that just means you need to speak up, which I'm not so good at. And the other negative is that it's quite expensive. A roll costs 8.90 and a sandwich costs 7.90 but if you're looking for a filling, healthy option among fast food, it's worth it. They also have halal and gluten free options, just let the staff know :)
