They have a very large selection of good designer shoes...the largest choice of Sam Edelman shoes I've seen in ages. The discounts are good, not great. I ended up choosing a pair of EVA Arizona Birkenstock sandals. At $54.95 they are $5 more than buying on Birkenstock direct website, so no savings especially as free membership allows you free shipping. However, I wasn't sure of my size for this brand so it was helpful to try several pairs out in person. The salespeople here were low key and helpful if asked for assistance. The store was large, cool, well lit and had a large selection. The store was larger than the ones I have gone to in Sacramento. I briefly looked at personal care items and they had a nice selection. Otherwise, we didn't have time to look at much else as we wanted to head home and beat the traffic. I am taking one star away for no discount on the shoes and the fact they when I got home I realized the security tag hadn't been removed at checkout . Fortunately my Dad had a bolt cutter and he took it off for me.

Anyways on my last shopping trip, part of my purchase was incomplete. The cashier made a honest mistake. I did not notice it was missing until I got home. Oh boy. So the next day I called the store and explained. The associate said the manager will call me back in a few days. I thought to myself, this may go nowhere. But no, the manager called back. She made arrangements and left instructions for the staff regarding my order. I told her I would not be back for a couple of months. She replied that it would be no problem. Sure enough it was not. On my return visit, I explained to the associate and she had to check the notes. She quickly returned and my transaction was fixed and completed. I understand that mistakes happen. The management handled the situation well and rectified the problem. The staff was informed of my situation and was ready for my return visit. The transaction was quick and effortless. Great customer service from my initial call to the store through returning in person.

The front of the store usually looks pretty good, but it gets messier and messier as you go toward the back. The service seems to be totally different every time I go in... some days everyone is greeting you, some days nobody acknowledges you're there. Some days it's all about taking your items, giving you a number, and showing you into a dressing room, and some days you're completely on your own; find your own dressing room and do it yourself. Once I saw something I liked on their website store, it was also on sale half price , so I just popped over to the outlet store to try it on-- but it was full price at the outlet. I mentioned that it was currently half price online... surely they would give me the same price in the store? The response I got? "Yeah... no... go buy it online if you want it half price."

My room is a mess so I moved past that and I ask about the bangles. The man mentions an adjustable bangle, but I say that I want the solid bangle in size 7 1/2 to 8. He shows me the bangle tells me it's $125 and I say that's perfect because it's sterling silver and that's worth it!! I ask what their return policy is and he tells me 14 days at this point it's December 9th so I asked if they have any holiday promotions because it's going to be a Christmas gift for my mother. The man tells me no and to check back next week. I think that's kind of odd because normally holiday promotions begin after Thanksgiving but it's a small business, maybe they do things differently, I understand. I called back the next week like he says and I ask if they're doing the holiday promotion and he says still not doing it. Check back next week. At this point, it's December 14th or 15th checking back next week is just grabbing it right before Christmas. So I asked him if he can write down my phone number and call me when it begins. The night of the 15th I get a text message saying that holiday return policy began November 27. That's a little annoying, but whatever so I sent my fiancé out to go buy it. To our surprise, they said the price is now $175. $50 is a pretty big jump. So they say that $125 is the price for the small adjustable one WHICH I DIDN'T LOOK AT. We ended up purchasing because my mother has wanted one for her entire life, but I don't think I will ever come back here again. To anybody looking for a less expensive alternative I found Rosa Marina's I haven't ordered from them yet, so I can't vouch but I'll come back and let you know if I do. EDIT: The response that I received by the owner claims that we were offered a discount but it was a military discount... even putting the more expensive price off aside I found this rather unprofessional given my multiple time calling for the holiday exchange and the improper quote. I'm not one to write many bad reviews and a positive for this is my mom loves her bangle.
