They don't have a computer system and are writing things down on slips of paper, only to lose them. They don't take your contact information, no text system, nothing. It's like this one single Once Upon a Child is stuck in 1980, while all the others in the area are 2026. I've called ahead to make sure they have a selling spot available before I drive 40 minutes there - They said yes, but I couldn't reserve a spot, so it got filled by the time I arrived. I've come close to opening - it would be a wait until 6-7PM with no guarantees it would even be done the same day. I came in once and said I had only 4 hours in the area, asking if it was possible, and they said yes. One small bin of 10-12 clothing pieces and a diaper pail. Took my stuff and info and told me to come back at 1pm. By the way - the person selling before me? Didn't ask for his ID, even though he was selling for the first time. Me? Asked for my ID and wrote it down on a slip of paper (i.e. my personal identifying information just sitting around for anyone, not secured in any way). I came back at 1PM as requested (actually, 1:20 to give them more time) and my stuff was sitting in the exact same place as when I dropped it. They looked at each other, confused, and just said, uh, well... we didn't do it. That was it. No offer of a different time, nothing. I just laughed, took my stuff and left. Unlike some other stores, they don't give you 24h to collect your payout/items - it has to be that same day, no matter how late they finish going through your items. I guess this place would be fine to sell to if you didn't have a job or any other commitments, or maybe if you lived like 3 blocks away so you could just hang out and wait for them all day/night.

Very low prices for furniture - I've got a little kitty who loves to dig his claws into everything…read moreand so I often replace and find great things here. My beloved Solsta couch from Ikea was getting on in age and so I needed to replace it. The cushions were stained and the blue fabric faded. I don't know what Piggy and Paco did on there either. Nobody knows. So many puddles and spilled drinks on that thing. Mystery stains. One from this frozen blueberry I had on top of my oatmeal one morning. That thing must have rolled off somehow and then got stuck there for months. Later I would find that green fuzzy thing and stains that no carpet cleaner could get out. I tried even. Result was the surrounding fabric got lighter and lighter and more faded - and the dark blueberry stain got worse. Truth is you can get a couch here for $500 and on a good day its half off as the like to move inventory. You can scrub and clean your old stained couch but truth is its never coming out. And the history of those stains - there is nothing that can clean it from your memory - even if you successfully remove them.

One staff member was unable to explain and kept giving us the same response: "What we have is what we have." When I asked her to show me how to read the labels, she left to call Jackie. In the meantime, another person who was cleaning came over and kindly showed us how to read the labels, and our problem was solved. However, when Jackie arrived, she repeated the same phrase: "Search the shelf yourself; what we have is what we have." I told her that it was fine because we had already learned how to search. Jackie seemed offended by this. We picked up about $100 worth of items and wanted to split them into two shopping bags to gift separately, so we requested an extra bag. Jackie returned and insisted, "No, we don't give out two bags." I said, "That's fine. Can you split my shopping into two sections and give them in separate bags?" At this point, Jackie started yelling at us, saying we were rude and offensive. She said, "Take another bag and leave." I responded that she shouldn't talk to customers that way and that I would ensure she learns proper customer service. I decided to write this review to highlight that if a staff member does not understand customer questions, they need to have the patience to listen. Our question was simple: how to choose premature baby clothes and how to read the different labels, as newborn sizes were not fitting our tiny baby. While they reached out to whoever was working in the back for inventory, there was no follow up if they had a spare or not. I kept looking around the store seeing if there's another alternative and decided on something else that may fit my needs. No one came to help, the same girl I had approached earlier seemed like she had better things to do so I found another alternative bag and decided to pay. I left the store, re-examined the bag that she gave me that wasn't even the original one I chose, saw some gray and makeup marks and went back to the store fuming. "I want another bag, this one has marks,"I stated. She grabbed a wet cloth and quickly cleaned it in front of me, "I just cleaned it, do you still want a new bag?" I held the wet bag, glared at her and gave it back, "there's make up here too." I pointed out the bits of makeup smeared on the other side of the bag. "I want another bag." I repeated She called someone in the back who did a quick exchange and because they don't seem to care for quality, I decided to inspect the new bag that was just given to me. What I learned from this place : 1. Be careful of the slight of hand they did with switching items you choose to some other random bag. 2 . Mental note: I won't come back to this store, they lack integrity and think their customers have single digit IQs. 3.
