(It was a cheapo from Target clearance but I loved it. It went everywhere with me and had plenty of pockets for all my junk.) So after I washed it a few times and the smell wouldn't come out...I finally had to say it was time to say...nah nah nah nan...hey hey hey...good bye. So for the next few months I begin to look for a everyday tote. My criteria was the following it had to be a black or grey. had to have a zip top must have outside pockets for keys and cell phones and subway passes wide enough to fit my laptop but not so wide I look like a bag lady made of something durable but still nice enough to take to the office. I came in on a whim and found a tote that was marked $400 and for some reason that particular day all the men's section was 50% off. So it would be $200...sweet...but as they were looking for a new one for me to take home....the one I was looking at was the store model....we realized they were all out of black, Only the brown was available....In the end they agreed to sell me the floor model for $100. Not a bad deal. I was happy and use it every day. It's very handy for travel because I can use it as a purse+ carry on. No need to lug around another suit case.... Always willing to help. They check on you if you're trying on items and ask if you need a different size. I'm part of the teen generation that lived for A&F so I have spent quite a lot of time & money over a lot of my life in these stores. When I say this was like a blast from the past, I don't mean it in a nostalgic way. I was maybe one of 4 people there. The entire store was either empty (in terms of stock) OR it was a piled up mess of stuffed shelves and merchandise all over the floors. The staff couldn't have been less interested in being helpful. Also I had a customer service coupon for 20% off and the manager tried to only attach it to ONE ITEM not my entire purchase. And it took 20 min to get it applied properly. I had to do the math for her. I'm not sure if she didn't know how to use her own POS system or was simply hoping I wouldn't notice her shorting me but it shouldn't have taken that long to work out... Also the gum on the wall was a nice touch

Crazy crazy crazy time to go... 1 week before school starts…read more Why ohhhh why do we do this to ourselves? The Sunday that is just one week away from when school starts and we decide to go to the outlet mall to get back to school clothes! Duh!! There was not much to choose from for my oldest... fortunately or unfortunately he can now wear a mens small! Man he is growing up!!! If not for that it would have been hard to find anything in his size. These days it's all about the under armor... that is all both of my boys want to wear. So we braved it... it took a while to sort through the carnage... but we accomplished our goal. 5 new complete outfits for school. That with the stuff he already has and he should be set as long as he doesn't have another growth spurt. The store was way busy... and all of the employees were trying to recover from the onslaught of shoppers. Constantly folding and straightening... it was all but a lost cause. We truly had to hunt for sizes for my son. Like a caveman with a spear we were tracking down the elusive and rare boys XL or men's small. When we found one we jumped on it! Then when it came time to check out it was time to wait in the line of purgatory. To the stores credit they literally brought all hands on deck and not one register was not humming! It went from a 5 alarm fire to the smoldering aftermath in just a short time. If not for the fact that it was a constant hunt and peck for stuff that would fit my oldest this would be a 5 star rating! No smalls I'm men's shorts or pants and no Xlarge in boys shirts or shorts. A shirt from this side pants from this side... match this with that and go back and forth. In the end we made it happen though.
