I was on the hunt for a cute "Woodstock" pillow for a while, passed one up, and kept returning without success. This would be a great place to find a good housewarming gift or present for your mom. The rest of the boutique is devoted primarily to women's apparel and accessories with a few infant/toddler items thrown into the mix. I dress pretty casually and a number of items in the store are dressier and pricier than what I need and want on a regular basis. However, I have found a few really cute casual tops here that I like!

Highlights of the store are that it's well-merchandised with great seasonal product and has adorable wedding and baby sections that are perfect shopping areas for showers. The store's challenge is that it's very small. When it comes to apparel, accessories, and home decor, it feels to me that the boutique just doesn't have the room to carry the full assortment that they should. Based on photos that I've seen of the other locations and what they carry online, I really wish the Woodstock store had some more space.

With my car packed, I headed over to Urban Renewal. Immediately upon walking in I was in love! From the sweet and courteous smiling ladies working at the front, to the well put together displays... EVERYTHING WAS a 10! The store style struck me as a mash up of southern- country charm, with a little bit of vintage twist. I loved how they organized the store by size and clothing type (shirts, bottoms, activewear...). Their shoe collection was so tempting too! I…read morehave purchased many items from Be You On Purpose over the years for weddings and special occasions. One event being my best friends 40th. I purchased a beautiful lounge robe for $90 but sadly returned it because I felt, in the end, it wasn't the right gift. I received store credit on a BYOP gift card. I can't recall the exact amount but it was around $75 because I did buy a little something when returning and that pulled from the credit. Fast forward.. I've tried two times now to use the remaining balance. The first time I was told the store associate hadn't been able to reach the owner while I was shopping but their system had crashed and she had no way of pulling up the amount or using the card. I left my contact info and assumed someone would reach out to discuss. That never happened. I completely forgot about it until yesterday when I was shopping in DT Woodstock and thought I would try again. The owner was contacted and I was told that there was absolutely no way to use the credit. No additional effort was made nor did the owner feel necessary to contact me to discuss. Basically, they had my money and she didn't care. As a result of their system crashing.. anyone that had a credit was out of luck! As a business owner, this is inexcusable to me. I certainly understand they can't take everyone's word for it but a simple phone call from the owner, an effort to discount a purchase or even offering a $25 store credit would have at least been a nice gesture considering it was the store owners problem and should not have been mine. In closing, your store doesn't have the substance of product to bring buyers back regularly so, for you to not make any effort to make things right has left a lasting impression that I want to be sure others know about. BUYER BEWARE: be sure what you purchase is what you want because if not you may never get your money back from this store.
