We had so much fun being together and with our guides, Pam, Alfredo, and Erica. They were super professional and lots of fun. The rafting trip was a combination of relaxation, sightseeing, and white knuckle excitement. I highly recommend Echo Canyon and make sure you ask for Pam who was just perfect with our group. Guide of All Time. Funny, knowledgeable, calm in the chaos, and somehow knew both river facts and dad jokes. He could lead a TED Talk on how to have a good time on water. It was our family of four (two adults, two kids -- 12 and 15, professional eye-rollers) plus another awesome family we met on the raft. Total strangers at first, river besties by lunch. Echo Canyon clearly knows how to pair people up -- no drama, just good vibes and shared paddling trauma bonding. The river itself? Just enough rapids to make us scream-laugh, plus plenty of chill spots where we could float, swim, or yeet ourselves off rocks like majestic river creatures. It was basically summer camp, adrenaline edition. Speaking of lunch: we expected, like, a soggy sandwich and a dream. What we got was a deluxe box lunch -- huge, delicious, and teen-boy approved (which is saying something). Energy fully restored. We were ready to conquer the next round of splashes.
