I booked a night in a Tower room since my work holiday party was being held in the Salmon room at…read morethe casino. The tower rooms are very conveniently attached to the casino and easy to get back-and-forth to your room. If you stay in a Resort Room, that building is not attached and you have to walk through the parking lot to get to the casino. I would say that that's the only downfall during the winter time of staying over there. But that is where the pool is so it just depends on what you're looking for at your stay. I have no complaints about the room, very clean and nice decor. My husband wished there was room service for breakfast the next morning but that is not available. I also wish they had valet parking. There is not nearly enough parking in the parking lot so if you don't find parking, you have to park in the parking garage and then walk all the way around back in to the hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly and the checkout process was easy. The second part of this review is going to be on the service from my work holiday party. The room was beautifully set up and the food was delicious. The staff that were coming around refilling water and taking plates were very attentive and friendly. We really liked Richard. The one employee that we encountered was the bartender assigned to our room. My first encounter from her I thought she was just having a bad day and I let it go. Not welcoming or friendly at all. Not even a smile. But as the night went on people started talking and it seemed everyone was having a not so good encounter from Robyn. She did not ID anyone all night, except my coworker that asked for a mocktail. She was rude to some people and unprofessional to others. It just progressively got worse. Yes the management will be reaching out to the contact they have at the casino to let them know. I was just so taken back about how somebody could go out of their way to be so rude at a fun holiday party. Other than that, the experience was great and I would highly recommend renting an event room there. Is it worth the drive?...yes

We stayed at the resort side of the two hotels. Two nights was over $700. Overall, pretty…read moredisappointing. The rooms were clean but old. Low water pressure, noisy fridge, loose fixtures, not enough outlets. The pool is unusable as it's enclosed in glass and is a 100+ degree humid greenhouse. They also didn't service the room after the first night. Just left a pack of soap, didn't touch anything else. The pricing is way too high for a room that is less nice than a Holiday Inn Express. The casino is not classy. It's all digital and feels more like gas station with carpet. There aren't a lot of hotel options up in the islands but we won't be staying here again, the price point doesn't reflect the amenities.

Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort - Typical. Long lines and slow service for average and overpriced food. Slow as can be service! They are nice though!

Soulless and inconsiderate small business. Do not get tricked by the official website's ticket and…read morepackage options. They are all arbitrary depending on the mood and the weather of the people who work there, including James (the man in charge). If you are a couple please note that you may be put into a plane with other people regardless of what plane and option you picked. You will not know about it until you get to the meeting point and one couple will not get to sit together. Thus, it may be better to look into other companies and there are others! If you are planning to go as a group, there are better and more professional establishments which are cheaper and/or same priced. The only saving point of this establishment is Mark (seaplane pilot) who made all the efforts to not only ensure that our experience on the air was great but also to redeem the Company. Overall, in the state where aviation is one of the major industries, there are better, more professional, and cost efficient companies and small businesses. Try them. They will have more respect and consideration for your experience. If you insist on booking from this establishment, exaggerate your weight to make sure that they cannot fly anyone with you.

Seems like the only private sailing tour available in the area and is absolutely worth the price!!!…read morePurchased as an early birthday gift for my wife who loves being on the water. The sunset was breathtaking, Russ was an incredible host, and we were able to fully enjoy the experience and each other's company without being crammed in a boat with a bunch of strangers! We brought snacks and drinks and completely forgot about them because we were so entranced with the view. If you're on the fence about booking...do it!! You won't regret it.

We snacked, drank, socialized, and enjoyed staggeringly beautiful views as Russ pointed out marine life (this time mostly sea lions and some porpoises, but he does regularly see whales!) and answered our questions about local geography and marine history (he seems to know everything about both). Russ is charming and knowledgeable and, most importantly, very good at sailing. He is focused on both the enjoyment and safety of his guests. His outings also a great deal; I did some comparison shopping and no one beats Russ's rates for what you get. He delivered an experience above and beyond our expectations so we will be back. Be sure to tip this man well!

This tour made me so happy. Kevin and Russ were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and their passion (and…read morenerdiness) for the public arts was infectious and endearing. I'll never walk over another hatch cover the same again. I'm excited to go home and see what's beneath my feet there. I would highly recommend this off the beaten path tour to anyone and i'll be happy to do it again the next time i'm back in Seattle. Thanks guys!

I am always looking for low cost, less formal ways to learn about places I either live in or visit…read moreand have done many free tours both in Seattle and while traveling. I learned about this tour from a friend and I think it's fairly new. At any rate, interesting tour. Not your typical here's the city and these are some of the landmarks and here are some fun facts. The difference is this tour was focused around the public art that can be seen everyday along the streets and sidewalks, built into the infrastructure, in the form of manhole covers or hatches as they are referred to. The folks conducting the tour included information of the various artistic manhole covers, combining it with first hand information from the artists and discussed the history of the work and how it fits into the identity of Seattle. They also provide information on the history of the city and how Seattle became the city you see as you take the tour. Pretty neat concept exploring aspects of the city that folks often take for granted as they pass by. Another fun fact about this tour is that it evolved out of an art project. I thought that was particularly interesting. Some of the prints, etc are pretty cool and again not what you would typically expect or encounter from one of these free tours. I'd recommend this tour to anybody to who wants to learn more about the history of Seattle, who appreciates public art or art in general and who has a free hour or so on a Saturday morning.
