She also has typed that she "extends her weekday hours just for you" and that's clearly not true. Her words exactly to me were "WELL, I'm leaving at 6 pm" mind you, that was at 3:50 p.m Not to mention, I made my appointment on May 12 th and I specifically said when I was making my appointment that I was totally available for any hour on May 13 to come in, but I was told that "May 12 was completely fine." My hair was done and I was out of her chair at 5:45 p.m and never received a single apology for any of the rude commentary. There was no heat in the shop, and Islamic prayers were playing loudly throughout the entire service. The woman braiding my hair also added far too much boho hair, to the point where I had to return to have some of it removed. The owner apologized, and I decided to give the business another chance. The second time, I had a 10:00 AM appointment. The braider never showed up, and the owner eventually started my hair around 12:00 PM. I lost two hours of my time and received nothing more than an apology -- no discount or accommodation whatsoever. After that experience, I honestly should have known better. But I decided to give them one final chance. Today, I had a 10:00 AM appointment with the owner herself. Instead of starting my appointment, she began working on two other clients. I was asked to wait and essentially had to sit there for FOUR HOURS before she could get to me. I was offered $50 off only after I had already waited four hours. At this point, it isn't about the $50. It's about respect for people's time, professionalism, communication, organization, and accountability. Three visits. Three separate problems. And each time, I tried to be understanding and give the business another opportunity. I genuinely enjoy supporting women-owned businesses, which is why I kept coming back despite the previous experiences. But there is a limit. I am honestly disgusted and extremely disappointed that I gave this business another cent from my wallet after the previous issues. Customers shouldn't have to repeatedly sacrifice their time and convenience because a business cannot properly manage appointments. Good braiding skills alone aren't enough -- customer service, professionalism, respect, punctuality, and accountability matter too. I will never be back.
