This gymnastics center is huge. There are tons of mats, trampolines, climbing ropes, balance beams,…read moreclimbing wall and more. My granddaughter comes here for weekly lessons. The staff here is great. They provide great accommodations needed by my granddaughter. They have changing rooms for patrons. There is a set of bleachers for spectators. I really wanted to love ETC. It's a well established business here in Murfreesboro and I had high…read morehopes. However, after 2 years here I've seen little to no improvements in the areas that were concerning to me when we first started. I'll keep this short and to the point. Perhaps someone in charge will see it and take these issues to heart as I have had quite a few conversations with other parents expressing similar concerns: Pros: - Front office knows their job and is always able to answer questions quickly -Central location that is easy to get to - They offer a lot of extra events like Parent's Night Out, Dipper Camps, Ninja Clinics if you are interested in paying extra fees to participate. Cons: - Extremely limited parking - The building itself is way too small for the operation they are running. Students can't spread out and are often all clumped up and bumping into each other. -Class sizes are huge now (both gymnastics and ninja). My kids spend A LOT of time standing around waiting their turn. For nearly $200 dollars a month, it's maddening. -The coaches don't appear to make any connection with parents unless they know them personally - The viewing areas are jam packed, hot & stuffy, and generally uncomfortable. I can't for the life of me figure out why they don't at least have an oscillating fan upstairs. Nearly every mom I have ever chatted with there complains about how hot it is upstairs. There is limited seating up and downstairs so plan on standing if you can't arrive early. Getting in and out of the building is a nightmare with how jam packed it is. I don't know how this isn't a major fire hazard to be honest? -The building is so crowded in the late afternoon/evening hours that its extremely loud and often distracting for the younger ones. They have kids crammed in every corner of the gym so it's challenging for them to stay focused. -We have gone through quite a few coaches in our 2 years there. We've never been notified of a coach leaving or a new one being introduced. Some coaches have been wonderful, loving, and genuinely committed to properly teaching the sport. Others have seemed less than enthused, or even mildly annoyed to be there. I'll end here. I think you get the point. All in all- we wanted to love it. For what we pay- we SHOULD love it. At this point, I am actively looking for a better option for my kids even if that means we have a longer commute. Or maybe I'll get lucky and the continued growth of Murfreesboro will bring a new gym to town.

Great Daycare.. Very nice and clean…read more The staff was nice and you didn't have to make an appointment to tour. They even have a summer camp for my school age children in the summer. They take them on field trips!

Mrs Amy- G.Y.M. Kids after school care…read more Mrs. Amy has been a tremendous blessing to myself and my child this past school year. My four year old started Kindergarten Readiness in an Elementary school. That means his schedule was the same as a third graders and a huge transition to say the least. At first he wouldn't talk, play, or eat. Lunches and snacks came home untouched. He would cry when I would come to get him and not let go even after we arrived home. Add on top of all of that, he has a special diet. He is allergic to many types of food and the ones he is not allergic to are highly limited (like sugar). The school and staff work with me on his diet as well as our religion. We do not celebrate "mainstream holidays". An example would be Santa or the Easter Bunny. Mrs. Amy and the staff have gone out of their way to make sure my son is included in activities without compromising our religious beliefs. When I pick up my child now, he asks why did I come so early. He brings home art and when I sneak in the room to watch him, he is laughing and playing. He is eating better and asks for snacks. He has grown sooooo much and I know he would not have blossomed if it wasn't for a caring and nurturing teacher like Mrs. Amy. Mrs. Amy has also helped me transition. She updates me on my son and answers my "is he normal" questions. She lets me know when he is acting out and she doesn't sugar coat it.This, above all, I appreciate. I am a single SINGLE mom. I am all that my son has. She corrects him in love and lets me know what she said as well as exactly what he did to deserve correction. From a single mom's point of view....Hallelujah,I am not the only one trying to mold my son to become a responsible, respectful man; Mrs. Amy is helping AND guiding me!!! She is always kind, loving, and she has the natural gift of genuine childcare. She notices when my child is absent, She notices when something is wrong, and she cares enough to take a moment to talk to me. This is the type of teacher a parent longs for.

I feel like the place a whole lot of fun for painting and adult things to do. Came for a kids…read morebirthday party the ages of 7 years and older. Now for a 7yr old. You would like to supervise and watch your child learn how to paint. But the rule for a group party if you're not painting you aren't allowed in the back. They consider that "spectators" not allowed. So your invite to a birthday party you would have to leave your child to paint by themselves or paint with them. You can't just watch. For a kids birthday party you shouldn't have to leave minor kids ages 7 alone due to some policy they have. I felt like the way the instructor came about this wasn't so considerate. Just put a bad taste in my mouth to not ever have a birthday party booked here. During the booking the place could have notified the person booking and let them be aware of the policy is before having a kids party. We all could have been aware warned when we first walked in.

They walk you through step by step so even the worst artists (like myself) can make a beautiful painting. The new location is nice and the artist we had was funny and very friendly. It's also super easy to make your own unique touches for your painting, and they don't mind helping you. Wine and painting make for a great girls night!
