Sad to see this place has new owners, staff and has lost it's charm. Had an appointment for my child, arrived and when sat in salon chair the stylist was told to be fast, people were waiting... Concerned abt cleanliness as the brush used to brush hair was filled with hair from previous appointments. Haircut request was basic long hair trim. I've brought my sons here for years and the service and quality of haircuts have gone way down in our last two visits (in Dec and August '23). Unfortunately we will no longer be coming. The staff has very poor English and even why I try Spanish words, they did not listen. Since communication was difficult, I showed them photos of how I wanted my son's hair to look and they did not follow them - at all (I tried to stop them once I realized but they ignored/did not understand me). Sadly I have to agree with the last review - this place has new owners and what may have been a good salon at one point, it definitely is no longer. I took my daughter and upon leaving realized her hair reeked of chemicals, like a combination of cholorine and something else. I went back inside to find out what product was it that was used in her hair and the woman that cut her hair showed me a water spray bottle that had this white liquid and when I asked what it was she said that they are these vials she buys. When I asked to see them she said she didn't have them in the salon. Just the mix. I have attached a picture that I took right in front of her. As you can see it is a spray bottle and she has poured this stuff in herself. So she refused to show me the product itself. I have no idea what ingredients or chemicals were in this thing but it was a strong chemical odor. No reputable or legitimate salon will ever put product on your hair and when you ask them about it they can't show you what it is. I asked to have the name and number of owner and they just said to call back later. Such a shame because I remember a couple of times that I had been here years prior and was such a different experience. This place looks run down. Dont bring your little girls here if they have long hair, that requires brushing and putting on any type of product. Hair was washed 2x to get smell out and now still smells like she just came from spending all day at the pool. Stay away from this place. read more

Moved back to Greenwich and didn't know the best place to get my sons hair cut- did a google search and came across Children's Classy Cuts. I filled out their online form at night and hear back RIGHT away and had an appt. scheduled at the time I requested on a Friday. I wasn't sure what to expect but the salon was SO clean, filled with fun toys and the women could not have been nicer. My son sat in a plane, watching Boss Baby and got THE best haircut he's had in his 4 years. Polina who cut his hair was so sweet and listened to exactly what I was looking for. My sons hair looks great, he loved the salon and the ease of booking an appointment and having and great in and out experience made me so happy today. I will recommend Children's Classy Cuts to all my sons classmates and any parent looking for an affordable, kid friendly, impeccably clean place to get a child ( or adult) haircut. read more

First time I went there it went okay. Wasn't thrilled but it's local so I went again. This time I was actually unhappy and really mad leaving there. I went in saying please DO NOT cut the top of my sons hair just short on the sides. She trimmed the top and she nipped my 1.5 year old sons ear with the buzzer. She tried to make it seem like she didn't do something wrong but my son was climbing out of the chair and I saw he was bleeding. Now there is probably blood on that brush which is gross to know they probably aren't washed. Also, his hair is all uneven length. Never again. If you have a son and you want then to listen go to a professional barber. I should of learned the first time. read more

I brought my grandson here today for a haircut. An awesome experience for him and me! The owner Gloria is very sweet and personable. Mildred cut his hair and did an outstanding job. My grandson is 2 years old and on the spectrum. She had endless patience with him and made sure he was comfortable throughout the haircut. I would recommend you try this shop too! read more

We made an appointment in the morning and arrived on time. Several people were waiting which felt very not covid safe. The guy at front said they were running late and could we come back at 2:00our appointment was at 1:30). Going home is a 45 min round trip. We sat in our car - went back in and another dad and his kid were now there waiting snd apparently had 1:00 time and told to be back at 2. So then we were told to "come back tomorrow if you don't want to wait." Apparently a stylist had to leave- ok I understand - but you have phone numbers / call people. Unsafe. Distespectful. Waste of my time. Never going back. To be honest last few haircuts have not been they great but they are boys and they hate getting your cut and like the TVs. Not worth it. Never again. read more

Love this place! Susy is excellent and this salon is incredibly kid-friendly. My daughter always looks forward to getting her hair cut and braided here (and she's the kind of girl that hates when I do her hair!). It's $30 for a cut and they do the sweetest hairstyles after (French pigtails, etc). They have a loyalty card too. It's the best place to get a kids haircut in Greenwich, IMO. read more

I love this place! It's right across the street from my daughters school (and next door to firehouse deli which is delicious ). Susana is the stylist my daughter gets and shes perfect for her. She's so patient and doesn't force my daughter (who's painfully shy) to talk. She'll ask if my daughter likes her cut , wants a bow or a braid. As a mom I like when someone doesn't force my kid to talk. Between the people , the atmosphere , and the fact that they don't charge an arm and a leg, it's a win win win. read more

Our 14 month old daughter was in need of a haircut but we were reluctant to bring her anywhere because it would be her first hair cut and did not know how she would react. I contacted Children's Classy Cuts and they were very accommodating in setting up an appointment. We showed up and Gloria was super friendly and had our daughter sit in a cute little car and also turned on the television so she could watch some cartoons during her haircut. There are lots of toys here to keep a child entertained. Gloria was quick and knew what to do. Although our daughter shed a few tears (she didn't like water spritzed on her hair or the blow dryer--which Gloria quickly stopped), overall it was a pleasant first time hair cut experience and our daughter had a cute little bob. Gloria even put a cute little hair clip on our daughter. We will surely be back for another hair cut. read more

Gloria was great! We took our son her for his first haircut and we very pleased. Gloria was super friendly and took good care of our baby! There are really cute chairs for the kids to sit in and she did a fabulous job of distracting him while she cut! He looks precious and the cut was great even considering he was not sitting totally still. There were other kids there at the same time and they all were looking good. Children's Classy Cuts recently opened in town. I passed their storefront several times and contacted them for an appointment. I was able to submit a reservation request through their website and they called me the next morning to confirm an appointment exactly when we wanted it. Very friendly and easy. I took my 17 month old daughter this afternoon for a trim. The shop is really cute with toys for kids to play with in the front and the salon in the back. They have neat chairs shaped like a car and a plane that the kids sit in for their cuts. Plenty to entertain the kids getting the cuts as well with tvs, lights, lolipops and more. They did a beautiful job trimming her hair and keeping her happy. At the end, they put a very cute barrette in as well. I loved Graham's on Greenwich Ave, but since they closed recently we really needed something like this near by. They really exceeded expectations and filled this niche perfectly. Prices were reasonable and everyone we met were extremely friendly and professional. read more
