I will never recommend Jeremy Scholzen to anyone! To be upfront- I am writing this review out of all honesty so that other people know who he really is and how he treated my children. He abused them. I took my kids to Jeremy a few times and never liked how he always rushed us through everything without ever taking time to have discussions, just giving quick answers, and zipping in and out of my kids mouths like it was a competition, as fast as he could each time while fake smiling at me and then saying "you're all done go get your free book and balloon" as he was already working on the next child. But what really pissed me off was just learning today from my daughter telling me about when they strapped her in a straight jacket that tied her arms and also strapped her legs so she couldn't move and had her mouth clamped open while they drilled her teeth without any pain relief as she cried. I wasn't allowed to be in the back with her at that time and NOW I KNOW WHY! Can you imagine having that done to you Jeremy? As her dad I wish so bad that I could have been there to help make sure her needs were met and to help comfort her. Don't ever trust Jeremy with your kids alone! My daughter said she even bit the bastards finger trying to tell him she was in pain. I'm glad he got a little dose of what he deserves. Hey Jeremy- You say you care because you have kids right? Well it seems all you care about is making the $$$ at the pain and suffering of kids. This is sickening. Is this how you treat your own sons and daughters? I don't know how you can sleep at night. Another issue, we had my with my son- he was only suppose to have 2 teeth pulled, but ended up getting 4 teeth pulled - without even telling us until after he had done it! I was already upset but now that I've learned about how you ABUSED my kids I am going to call DCFS and have you investigated, and I'm also going to hire an attorney to sue you for my kids pain and emotional/physical damages. Our new Dentist verified that you messed up my kids teeth (which has taken years to correct). I was willing to forgive that but now it's about the principle of ABUSE and stopping you from doing to another child again. Lastly, we still have an unused credit from children's dental from a refund they offered us (because they refused to refund our money) and of course it will never get used, but I'm betting we'll get that back plus damages. My kids have been going to Children's Dental since they opened - every visit has been great! I switched my kids from our regular dentist! My kids (ages 15-3) look forward to going to the dentist. My 3 year old will ask, "When are we going to the dentist again?" My son had several cavities filled at our regular dentist - my daughters have had some filled at Children's Dental! The difference in technique is incredible! Dr. Scholzen slipped the shot in and "wiggled their lip" - my girls didn't even realize they had a shot at all! Huge difference in the outcome! My son was scared to death of going to the dentist and cried every time. My girls look forward to it! The waiting room is inviting and my kids are completely entertained! The assistants are very sweet and patient with my kids - sometimes my kids aren't excited about their X-rays but they always take time with them so they feel comfortable! I feel informed and aware of all procedures. Can't say enough good about the dentists! My kids feel very safe and I feel like they get quality time/exams with each of my children. Another positive is that I can schedule all of my kids in the same visit - I know this isn't possible at our pediatrician. I appreciate this service and that they recognize our busy schedule. My kids love the treats at the end of day: a new book, toothbrush, balloon and free Pizza Hut pizza if they are cavity free. We love going to Children's Dental! It's the best! We love Children's Dental! Dr. Scholzen is great with my 4 boys (ages 2, 4, 6 & 8) and answers any questions I have had about their dental health. His staff is very friendly and accomodating. I would 100% recommend Children's Dental to anyone with children. They are so kid friendly. My kids don't dread going to the dentist at all. They have touch screen games to play on the walls while kids wait, movies to watch in the waiting room as well as in the exam chairs. They can also choose usually between a few movies to watch. Their favorite part is getting new toothbrushes, a balloon & new book at the end. If they have no cavities, they also get a free pizza at Pizza Hut or Rigattis. Totally worth it! And they will work with you if a payment plan is needed. Thanks Dr. Scholzen for working on my children who can be less than cooperative at opening their mouths and holding still!! Have been going to Children's Dental for the past 4 years, every 6 months (total of 8 times) and only 1 cavity thus far!!! He even has put sealants on my 6 & 8 yr olds molar teeth so less likely to get cavities. EXCELLENT service! read more

Dr Scholzen is so good with young children! None of my kids cried (5 kids, ages 2-6) which feels like a miracle! Instead of cheap toy prizes, they give out balloons and a nice paperback book, like Curious George, If you give a Pig a Pancake, Nancy Drew, or Freight Train, (they have a selection of at least 40-50!). They have toys in the waiting room, as well as by the exam chairs, so you won't have a problem bringing all your kids. The staff is knowledgeable and kind, and all so good with children. We were scheduled a few weeks out, but when a slot opened up we were called and offered the slots for the very next Monday. We waited about 10 minutes in the waiting room, which was fine to get my kids adjusted to the new building. Dr Scholzen had some good advice on how to help my kids take care of their teeth. I felt like he really cared for my kids, and didn't act rushed or annoyed at anything. Overall, a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend! read more

My family dentist of 30 years is retiring and I was in need of a dentist for my children who are still at home. I have very high standards and was having trouble finding a dentist I felt comfortable with. I am so glad I found Dr. Scholzen at Childrens Dental. He has been great with my children who are teenagers. He only does work that needs to be done and he is very sensitive to the economy and goes above and beyond to help his patients. I have also been very pleased with his staff, they are wonderful with all ages of children. I wish I had tried Childrens Dental sooner. read more

I was super impressed with the staff and the dentist today especially. I was trying to discuss something with the dentist and two of my little ones were struggling. Two different staff members took them and played with them and distracted them so I was able to make some decisions with the dentist. He was great to take time with me to answer all of my questions and went out of his way to help me. The hygienist did a great job doing X-rays and cleaning as well. Going to the dentist with four kids can be overwhelming but I was grateful for Children's Dental today. read more

We love this dental office and have been going there for years. The dentist is phenomenal and the staff members are all extremely patient and kind. Everyone is very conscious of being kid friendly in an environment/situation that can stress kids out. Usually the wait time is the only hang up but today it was perfect! No wait at all! We normally have a great experience anytime we go. Today was awesome. The hygienist worked carefully and quickly. She was super understanding of my daughter's wishes and did them without complaint. Jeremy is wonderful. He jumped right in and talked with us and gave us the good news of no cavities. He knows my daughter's wishes and abides by the every time. The environment at children's dental really is so inviting and kid friendly!! They have been so accommodating to my toddler and she likes going to the dentist for her new book and balloon each visit!
