Ok so I know this isn't a business, but I still want to review this underrated gem in Eastpointe…read more Spindler Park is a very well maintained, safe, and pretty park with three pavilions, a jungle gym for kids, a soccer field, a sledding/climbing hill, tennis courts, horseshoe courts, shuffleboard, and disc golf. They also have bathrooms in the summer and port-a-potties in the winter. There is a walking trail for you and your (leashed) dog that measures about 1/4 mile (I think). Plenty of picnic tables and shade, and water fountains by the bathrooms. At the if the summer last year I was lucky enough to catch the butterfly migration south and I must have seen a few hundred in the trees beyond the soccer field where the disc golf route extends. It was magical. Overall, a great, safe park to get outside and spend some time.

This park does not have as many features is the other Park such as Kennedy Park but nonetheless it's a great little city park. Like I posted in the photos during hunting season I come here and collect acorns for the deer. They're in the summer a lot of events are held here. Last summer my Cub Scout Pack 1909 had to camp out here I felt very safe and secure and there was even an indoor restroom available to use they also offer a nice Pavilion with electricity if you were to have a family reunions and or picnic here. There's also a nice little walking trail and even a huge pills to go sledding on in the winter if I remember correctly they do have a small play area for the kiddos as well. Nice place to go walk your dog and relax.

A shelter and seating for a small picnic. Chess table for such aficionados, frisbee launch areas and open field areas for v-ballers too, two sets of poles are available, though you need to bring your own net and balls, of course. I enjoy getting some carry out at whichever spot in the RO or vicinity and taking it back to the park to have an impromptu picnic. This is the same park that usually hosts the Shakespeare in the park every year, except this year. It's most tranquil by the dense trees since there are less clusters of people in those parts. :) Come and get a much needed respite from the house and enjoy a bit of nature with a picnic at this park and a bit away from the playground area, if you want some quiet and peace. Maybe bring a blanket to lay on the ground and carve out your own ideal spot.

I visited this park recently for a relax solo moment and for a afternoon walk I also found myself excited by how much I truly enjoyed it. The walking trails are well-maintained and also run alongside water, offering a beautiful view especially in the early evening. You'll find a walking, jogging, and even a relaxed bike ride. The natural landscape provides tons of photo-worthy spots. Number one thing is don't expect a playground or bathrooms at the entrance. it's clearly designed for people who enjoy quiet outdoor times. Me personally, my favorite part is for sure the serenity. It does not feel loud or crowded, it's a great place to clear your head, even journal, or enjoy some solo time. I would say one small area that can use some improvement could be better trail entrances, especially for first time visitors. I do recommended Clinton River North Park for a great park attraction, it's calm atmosphere and natural beauty. I truly believe it's worth visiting.

It's called the Tunnel of Lights with food trucks and hot coco stand. They even have a few igloos and multiple fire pits to keep visitors toasty.
