The pool is warm and clean situated next to a nice park and playground area with grills and picnic tables. Everyone is very friendly and you are allowed to bring coolers and water toys. We decided to buy a yearly family membership for $350 that comes with 6 guest passes. I'm still trying to clarify if it's 6 guests that can come an unlimited number of times or 6 passes/guest visits only. I'm scared to share this review because it's my little getaway spot now!! The atmosphere just isn't what it used to be. The original team created a positive, motivating environment, but over the years we've watched more than 40 different sales and operations employees come and go. My husband has been one of the only consistent staff members throughout all of the turnover. We're going to miss the old days, but it's time to move on to greener pastures. Areas That Need Improvement The biggest issue is the lack of drive from the current sales team. In the past, the sales staff were constantly making calls, following up with prospects, and working hard to bring in new members. They were motivated and took pride in growing the club. Now, it often seems like the sales desks are empty, and there isn't the same hustle. When memberships aren't being sold, personal trainers don't receive new clients, which directly impacts their income and their ability to support their families. Management should be asking why sales efforts have slowed so much and holding the team accountable. Roseville has become noticeably slower, and strong leadership is needed to rebuild the club's energy and culture. The current front desk manager also comes across as overly harsh at times. A little more warmth and stronger people skills would go a long way toward improving the member experience. The facility itself also needs attention: * There is often an unpleasant odor throughout the club, even while the cleaning staff is working. * The Kids Klub appears overdue for a deep cleaning. * Much of the equipment is outdated, and several machines are frequently out of service. Staff Who Deserve Recognition Not everything has been negative. There are still some amazing employees who truly care about the members. * Donelle at the 5:00 a.m. front desk is always welcoming, friendly, and greets members coming in and out. She sets a positive tone every morning. * Rhoda and Jackie in the Kids Klub are wonderful. They genuinely care about the children and make families feel comfortable leaving their kids in their care. Final Thoughts LA Fitness Roseville has unfortunately lost many of the hardworking employees who helped make this club successful. The culture has changed, morale feels lower, and the club doesn't have the same energy it once did. I hope leadership takes an honest look at what's happening because this location has so much potential with the right management and team in place.

While growing up, my family belonged to several swim clubs over the years (and I have visited many others for parties and other things) and none come close to CGPA. Here's what makes CGPA great: Amazing Staff - This pool is well-maintained and well-run. Diving Board and Slide - Need I say more? Outside Food and Beverage (including alcohol) allowed in the pool area. Great Events and Kids Activities - Labor Day Party and Fireworks, Campout, Candy Bar Bingo, Dads Cannon Ball Contest, Swim Lessons, Water Aerobics Snack Bar prices are basically at-cost. The only thing about CGPA that could be improved is the pool stairs. They're not built-in and can be a bit difficult for swimmers with mobility issues. I'd love to see permanent stairs be added to the pool and perhaps one of those lifts that are becoming more and more common at pools.

My family - my wife, I and our three grand-kids (13, 7 and 2 years old) came to the pool in the morning. Main entrance to family locker room was locked. One of two changing rooms was locked. But it was not the worst. When my 2 years old granddaughter under my wife supervision was playing with her small (3 inch), soft (made of rubber), floating duckling, some lifeguard came up to them. He forbade my granddaughter to play with her duckling in the pool. I've asked him: Why? He answered: Because of the pool rule - "NO TOYS IN THE POOL". I've asked him: Why? Is this toy dangerous to anyone? He rudely replayed: "Because this is the rule!" We had to take the toy from our kid. She started crying. Thus the person ruined our granddaughter's joy. I've asked him twice: What is your name? He refused to answer. Finally, I figured out his name from another person. His name is Bill. I understand that Bill hid his name because he knew that he had done something inappropriate. We used to attend the pool for more than 10 years.
