Eric at valet is Very extremely aggressive, Valet Worker. He yelled at me at the top of his lungs like I was his child. Yelled at me at the top of his lungs to move my car when I was literally in my car about to move it. This man should be assigned a different position away from working with a public. He is extremely angry and extremely aggressive. No reason any valet worker should yell at anyone the way he yelled. Be very aware and cautious of this man. To top it all off he is supposed to be a supervisor. No supervisor should be aggressive like this man. His actions were trying to show dominance by the way he was yelling, and it is highly unprofessional. It did not scare me at all.. do not yell and try to use scare tactics if you are a valet driver, be professional, and talk professionally

2 1/2 hr long process. But there are kids in need

This place is great. From their mission statement to the staff. All good purpose, good people and good vibes

This is the best place to donate. Do it for the kids!!! You also get snacks juice and a gift card.

What a shame that such a needed thing is ran by such unprofessional, and horrible, people. Everyone that works reception is nice.... but PRAY you don't need anything from the staff that oversees the operations. Especially the two-faced liar, J. Singer, that signed this sham of a letter, which they made me wait forever for. Driving across town to Cedars to make sure the right thing I'm doing gets done. Smh

I've also worked at approx. 10-15 of their sister locations. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating: an overall pleasant place to work. The problem comes in when it's time to get paid. Out of the 200 facilities I've performed at, the Country Villa chain has always been slower than most places in paying their entertainers. It only seems to have worsened after the pandemic. Now you'll be lucky if you see a check within 2 months of your performance. This is typical for corporate takeover facilities, where 'non-essential' hires are financially squeezed to save money while increasing profits. Expect the trend to spread. This review is not just for me, but for all the other hires who can relate. In the end the residents pay the price. This facility is not a nursing home! Most of the residents are young, 60 and under. For long term residents, the lack of entertainment can't help their mental and emotional health. The focus seems to be mainly on physical rehab. For the entertainers....skip on this one, or look forward to chasing your money long after you've worked. Not in 2024!

I paid up front over Venmo, feeling comfortable with it because of his good reputation on here. And indeed he did not disappoint. Andre showed up to my house exactly on time. He went over the instructions of the kit for the test I was having done, and already knew what to expect. He asked the right questions - "Are there ice packs with this one?" "Does it need to be centrifuged?" He was even such a pro he knew which cabinet door held my garbage can without looking. The poke itself was right on the money, nearly painless, and without complication. He took the kit with him to do the postal dropoff himself - it was included with his services. One less thing for me to have to do, which was appreciated. We shook hands, said goodbye, and that was that. He did not solicit me for a Yelp review. A lot of service providers will offer deals to customers in hopes of scamming their way into a good review - it's a red flag whenever I see it and it makes me mad for having wasted time reading reviews that were essentially bought. But Andre didn't do that at all, which is why I immediately got on my computer to write him a review anyway. He earned his reviews by being good at what he does. I'd use him again anytime.

Children's Hospital in LA is the first and largest pediatric hospital in Southern California. One of my friend's 10 year old son has been in this hospital for the past week and I wanted to go see him. I went there today and even took few balloons along with teddy bear to cheer him up. He was diagnosed with a serious illness that she doesn't want to disclose. So, I respect my friend's confidentiality and will not be discussing her son's condition. When I got there today, the nurse was checking his temperature along with the other vitals. It wasn't a pretty scene to see this little boy suffering. Then a minute later, they brought him some food for him to eat. He was having trouble eating. His mom and the nurse helped him sit up to have leverage so he can eat. As I was getting ready to leave, the doctor came in and the rest I will find out once..hopefully soon, he will be discharged from this lovely, wonderful hospital. They accept all method of payments.. Everyone in the hospital was very nice, helpful, caring, reliable, and understanding. They have a gift shop, cafeteria, healing room, prayer center,& a HUGE parking lot. Everything was SPOTLESS CLEAN. Thank you all, and I hope he will feel better, have a speedy recovery and may GOD bless and take care of everyone's kids.:-)! Amen!!!!!

The parking at this location is super easy, it was easy to spot from the street, and they are kind of close to the 5 freeway. The building looked very clean and organized. The instructor, Scott, was great at making the information clear, keeping us engaged, questioning us, monitoring our progress and assessing our skills. When we made mistakes he made sure to give us a positive too to keep us motivated. I can actually remember what the acronym SAMPLE stands for now, thanks to him. I also think it is pretty neat that I can still access the training videos on the Red Cross website even though my class is over! The videos are like games and there is a little bar that moves either into the red or green as you progress through them. It's kind of fun playing them and a good learning experience. I would definitely recommend getting CPR training from these people. They have everything so organized and are very thorough.

Nevertheless, there are few organizations that are so universally recognized for helping others. When you see the famous Red Cross logo, you know help is on its way. It's difficult to think of another organization that can so quickly and efficiently organize a blood drive or set up a shelter after a disaster. I have donated blood at the Glendale location several times. Some experiences have been better than others but overall the staff have been professional. It's always nice to get the perks (tickets to comedy shows, coupons for ice cream, T-shirts during the annual KLOS blood drive, not to mention concert tix). But when all is said and done, the ultimate gift is the gift of life. Make sure you schedule an appointment to donate ahead of time; they are not always fully staffed to accept blood donations. My father required several blood transfusions in the last year of his life. While ultimately nothing could be done to save him, at least he got a little more time on this earth to spend with his loved ones. Now, whenever I give blood, it's to honor him and to try to help another family in the same situation. Give the gift of life.
