The American Red Cross Blood Donation Center in Culver City has become one of my regular stop as I've donated here a handful of times. My most recent visit was on July 1st, 2025, and everything went as smooth as it always does. From scheduling my appointment online to finding parking to going through the donor history questions, the process is always streamlined and stress free. The staff are consistently professional, kind, and efficient, which makes the actual donation itself quick and easy. I really appreciate the calm, clean, and organized environment... it is noticeable and makes a big difference if you're a regular donor. On this particular visit, I was extra motivated because I wanted to snag the collaboration donor gift with goodr (the "Just My Type" sunglasses) and yes, of course they were worth it! I love that the Red Cross partners with fun brands to encourage people to come in and donate. I think they have a Peanuts promo right now! Oh, and of course, snack time at the canteen is always a highlight for me, hehe. Nothing beats a juice box and a salty or sweet snack after the vampires take your blood! All in all, the Culver City Red Cross Donation Center makes donating blood a simple, positive, and rewarding experience. I'll definitely continue coming back every 56 days and I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about donating. It really is such an easy way to make a difference.

The staff is wonderful and can be considered a friend. Considering the stress and depressing nature of convalescence, they are always cheerful and encouraging towards the residents. The facility lacks modern amenities but makes it up with staff personalities. Quite frankly, I was turned off, when I first entered the establishment. After I saw how they managed daily care, I understood the difficulties of covalent care and give them applause for doing the thankless work that nobody else will do. Bravo!!!

When your loved one is in a facility, you place your trust in the care of others and pray they'll be in the best hands possible. My mother wasn't the easiest person to care for, but this staff showed so much patience and care throughout her time here. They are very responsive and consistently nurtured the seniors here like it was their own relative. The dining caters to individual needs and is quite delicious. The team does a wonderful job on day time activities, walks them in the beautifully remodeled courtyard, showers them in a timely manner, and clothes them with fresh smelling laundry. The PT staff are just so wonderful - the entire team with their smiling faces are so welcoming. I need to recognize the heart and soul of the OCH, the head nurse - Grace. I've actually known Grace prior to my mom arriving at the OCH and her professionalism, honesty, unbelievable responsiveness (she actually called me from Asia on vacation) and warmth are beyond words. My heart can't thank her enough for everything she's done. The OCH is so blessed to have her. The energy and strength behind OCH comes from Esther Kwun. She will ALWAYS pick up her phone and go out of her way to help. Her humor, smile, and lovable personality are indispensable qualities that represent the OCH with such professionalism. I will miss her so much. A big thanks to Noel, who handles the finances. He is just a joy to talk to and I'm thrilled he's physically recovered so well. Claire and her partner, who does a marvelous job with social services never make mistakes. Their attention to detail in taking care of all the patients there keep things so organized. My mother, who was blind, just adored hearing Claire's lovely voice. Dalila, who my mom said was the best CNA there deserves a shout out. Thank you, Anna and others who gave her the best showers. Thank you Ernesto for the pleasantries every time we see each other. To the new guy, Joseph, who seems to be another wonderful addition there. And of course, Station 1, with Deborah, Marissa, Victoria - you all are just FABULOUS! .... and to my ever reliable, Hailu, who I will dearly miss. We were given an email address to submit medical documents, and everything was uploaded seamlessly. The receptionist was patient, friendly, and welcoming. Although we noticed the clinic serves many Armenian patients, we never once felt judged or treated differently. We first met with a student nurse practitioner who had a warm demeanor, asked thoughtful questions, and listened carefully while taking detailed notes. It felt thorough and unrushed. When Dr. Manuk Chulyan came in, it was immediately clear he had already reviewed my mom's history. I explained her recent hospitalization and new diagnosis of advanced kidney disease, along with our frustration with prior gaps in care. He was compassionate and attentive, especially toward my mom, who was visibly anxious and overwhelmed. He carefully reviewed her labs, uploaded outside records, and updated medications with great attention to detail. He was receptive to coordinating appropriate follow-up care with specialists and addressing our concerns without hesitation. What truly stood out was his willingness to help with necessary medical documentation and support requests. There was no resistance, no judgment, and no sense that we were asking for too much. In a time when my mom already felt vulnerable, that calm willingness meant more to us than words can express. He also took time to understand how her condition affects daily life and was supportive of resources that could help improve her overall well-being. In a quiet, sincere moment, he mentioned God to my mom. It was gentle, respectful, and not forced. My mom left feeling comforted and understood in a way she hasn't felt before with a primary care provider. Mary, the office manager, was exceptional. She was patient, kind, and incredibly helpful with paperwork, and even went out of her way to explain additional resources we weren't initially aware of. Appointments are easy to make, we arrived early, and they were punctual. We left feeling heard, supported, and genuinely cared for. We truly love this clinic. But, after my experience, I can't recommend this hospital enough! The nurses and staff were amazing and so attentive to my child and me. It was my second cesarean, and the care I received while I was there was wonderful and incomparable. I didn't get this kind of treatment with my first c-section. They helped me to the restroom when I needed it, and even helped me change my baby--simple things like that really helped me during my visit. I didn't feel neglected or stressed at all. The hospital is very clean, and even the few visitors I had commented on how kind and attentive the staff were. They even offered a free car seat and diaper bag for my baby. Overall, my hospital stay here was great! If I decide to have another baby, I would definitely deliver here again.

No hi, no can I help you, nothing she just said "I'm not her assigned nurse " I am in so much pain I asked for pain meds she said later. I asked to send in my lunch because my fever was coming down and with medicine I feel like I was able to eat. She said no I don't think you can eat or it's a nice idea to eat you need some smoothie you can have your family bring you some smoothie for you. My family lives an hour away. When my husband has some free time it's bad traffic time that it's take all the way 2hrs. Nurses don't care. I got here at 11 no Dr came to talk to me or nurse checking in on their patients THEY DO NOT CAREEE After this stay I'm absolutely not coming back.
