Absolutely splendid! First time customer with hemochromatosis who was looking for a mobile phlebotomist to do some therapeutic phlebotomy. Found a treasure in Andre! No issues finding the right vein to prick. Took care of it during my lunch hour. Friendly, easy to talk to, and does the job right. Feeling better already! Customer for life!

But Andre didn't do that at all, which is why I immediately got on my computer to write him a review anyway.

Accurate rating description for two starts is "could've been better." This place only has PA/NP…read moreand no MD on site. They have the capability to draw blood and send to lab for stat orders. Unfortunately, what they lack ends up a longer list. The first MA was unable to get a vial of blood and said someone else would try on my other arm with a straight needed (vs butterfly). She left me without even putting a bandaid on the arm she poked and I had to struggle to put the bandaid on one handed while still maintaining pressure on it. Next MA comes and draws blood and when she's done she yelps I don't have a cotton ball (to put on the vein she just drew out of) and my blood is just pooling while she puts a bandaid on. Luckily I'm well versed enough to know I needed to put pressure on my bandaid. The NP who saw me was new to (per the MA) she really didn't put my mind at ease. Her expertise and knowledge seemed lacking based on the answers to my questions. First thing she asked me was, why are you here and not the ER? I told her my PCP sent me here because she didn't feel it necessitated a ER visit. She wanted me to be evaluated by YOU to assess and in your medical opinion, do I need to be seen further or what course of action next? She swabbed me for flu and covid and I verbally questioned her because I had isolated severe GI symptoms. She said sometimes those present wither GI only. Does it? I don't know, I'm not an MD but I'm also someone who works in healthcare and it didn't feel like the proper procedure. When I asked if she would be ordering any stool samples, I heard through my closed door "do we do that?". Ok, she's new, I'll give her that...but she comes back in and says "if you'd like to have the order for stool testing I'm happy to give that to you." Am I the md or am I the patient? I came here for your professional medical opinion! Do I?! So after I kindly communicated that I am looking to her for her opinion as the expert whether or not my symptoms necessitate an order, she still doesn't quite give me a direct answer! I haven't been to that many urgent cares, but I've come to see a trend that many of the urgent cares that are owned by a company with multiple locations don't have MD's on staff physically there. That said, I've also noticed the trend that many provide sub-par care.

715 am, Saturday, May 16, 2026…read more I came an hour early to the Quest Lab to find out if they'd take me early before my appointment time as a walk-in. Not sure if it'll happen as I already have the standing appointment. The self service kiosk is easy to use, there are four machines near the entrance. Plenty of parking spaces here at the medical plaza. There's a constant arrival of patients, so not likely to be seen earlier than the appointment time. I have no idea when walk-ins would be seen as appointments have priority. I don't recommend trying to get here any earlier than ten minutes. The restrooms are clean, however, there's no wall mounted soap dispenser. That's such a big miss! Super silly having that gallon sized pump hand soap on the cabinet away from the sink. The hand dryer works well, there are no paper towels. This one is weird too, I was given a small plastic double Dixie cup with lid instead of the medical grade plastic urine collection cup. Hmm... Not sure if that was because I had to go before she had a jar ready and labeled. My phlebotomist was professional, yes. But she wasn't as good as the other one I had previously. All I care about is that they're able to collect the blood sample on the first insertion of the needle. Don't miss! Haha.

I haven't been here since they finished their remodeling…read more I love how they have so many kiosks with a clear divider for some privacy from patient to patient. The waiting room is large and they have long business hours from 5a-5pm. I don't love getting my lab drawn in general but I am happy to have this location close to my house. Mobile check in is nice.

Waiting to have your sample taken while fasting, holding your #1 is never a pleasant experience…read more but I will share that this Saturday team was great. I had a 915am appointment. While i entered the room, it was Full. Receptionist announced that they are handling additional appointment coming from closed location because of the Garden Grove chemical incidents. I watched the team process through the waiting crowd efficiently. When it was my turn, i got an very experienced technician. She was fast and the needle almost didnt even hurt. She had me in and out under 10 mins Looking good this time. Day and night difference compared to 3 years ago when i have to do an employment drug test at the Placentia location

Every time we come here, we are told they are short-staffed and running behind. While occasional…read moredelays are understandable, this seems to be a consistent issue. Patients make appointments because they are sick, have schedules, and need timely care. Having people sit in the same waiting area for 2-4 hours is not only extremely frustrating, but also unsafe, as it increases the risk of spreading germs. What's even more concerning is that appointment times are not respected. If multiple patients are scheduled for the same time (for example, 10:00 AM), they are not seen in any clear or fair order. It feels disorganized and inconsiderate of patients' time. This level of service shows a lack of respect for patients. If staffing is an ongoing issue, there needs to be better scheduling, communication, and accountability. Patients deserve better--especially when they are not feeling well.
