Within the first two weeks, my daughter reported being pushed, having her hair pulled, being dragged by the arm, having her finger bent backward, and being punched in the stomach by older boys. These incidents were serious enough that I spoke directly with her teacher multiple times. The teacher acknowledged the incidents and explained that he had redirected the boys involved. What was especially frustrating was the lack of communication. I never received an incident report, phone call, or written notification regarding any of these incidents. In fact, after my daughter came home covered in ant bites on her very first day, I specifically requested incident reports moving forward. Despite that request, I never received a single incident report. After raising concerns, I was later told by administration that I should have gone directly to them. However, I had already spoken with the teacher multiple times about what was happening and the teacher failed to communicate with admin appropriately. I was also surprised to receive an email stating, "At this time, Astrid has not brought these concerns directly to her teacher..." when the teacher had witnessed the behavior himself, intervened by redirecting the boys, and had discussed the incidents with me. The emotional impact on my daughter was heartbreaking. She has attended daycare for most of her life and has always loved going. After starting here, she was crying on Sunday afternoon because she knew she had to return on Monday. She cried before drop-off which should have been a red flag. That is not normal behavior for her and was a major warning sign. Rather than addressing the behavior of the older boys who repeatedly hurt her, my daughter was moved into the Robins classroom with children ages 3-5. My daughter is almost 7 years old. While I understand the daycare was trying to separate her from the situation, it was difficult watching her be removed from her age group instead of seeing stronger intervention with the children causing the problems. The most alarming incident occurred when my daughter was able to leave the building and run into the parking lot after I had already dropped her off and she was in the daycare's custody. A gate on the property had been broken for some time, and she was able to get through it. I observed staff standing there while my child ran into the parking lot crying. I had to retrieve her myself. When discussing the incident afterward, I was told it would be used as a training opportunity for staff. In my opinion, a child being able to leave a childcare facility and enter a parking lot should never happen in the first place. To the daycare's credit, they did later repair the gate and address some of my concerns. However, the combination of repeated physical incidents, lack of communication, lack of incident reports, emotional distress to my child, and the supervision failure that allowed her to enter a parking lot ultimately left me without confidence in the facility's ability to keep my daughter safe. I would not recommend my worst enemy's child to attend here. If I could give negative starts I would.

My co teachers treated me horribly and didn't include me on any of the classroom guidelines(as if there were any). There's no curriculum done and barely any structure. They just need to make sure that licensing standards are up to date. I understand that state and regulations are extremely important, but so are the children and their development. The assistant director at the time (Courtney) was very courteous and kind during the interviewing process, than once i started she barely looked me in the face and didn't even acknowledge my presence; and turned down a reference I gave to her due to my friend "banging on the door" which she had mistaken for an amazon driver. This place is not how a childcare facility should be run at all! All of the marketing that Kaye has put into this is a scam. But at-least they look good for corporate (eye roll) Coming from a person on the inside-don't send your child here.

Hearing a two year old plea for help from pain is not only disheartening but so diminishing especially when you are trusting a church to look out for your kids. My grandsons diaper was so soaked with urine and feces that it was dripping down my arm. His rash was so severe that he was taken to the emergency room. For a church this is so disgraceful and disgusting. The fact that they even offer child care is ridiculous. My grandson consistently hungry and dehydrated when picked up from this day care. This is an abomination of a facility.

Luckily, we got the call and we were approved for my baby to start in the Newborn Room when I was ready to go back to work. In the Newborn Room she was Mrs. Katie. We fell in love with her and she loved my baby right back. She was so good at answering texts or telling me if Molly was having a bad day or coughing, anything. She was only in the Newborns until October because she turned one and moved up. Mrs. Katie continued to go in her new classroom and check on her though! That is above and beyond as a new mother. In the Ones she really thrived. She was with kids who were closer in age and made a lot of new friends. I loved going to pick her up after work! It was the highlight of my day!! All of the teacher aides truly love your child. They are kind and loving. Patient and sweet to your baby! They know all of the baby's names even in other classes. This is because they move classes throughout the day to help other teachers. We just started year 2 with Faith Lutheran and I know my daughter is exactly where she is supposed to be! She is already talking in sentences and you can tell she missed her friends over the summer! Can't wait to watch her continue to grow with the help of loving teachers and aides!

I remember my friend Marty was expelled right after her dad died. They had no sense for emotional development and support. Out of all my years in school, from preschool to grad school, this was the worst school. I was just watching the new Cruella and the horrible principal reminded me of this snobsville ha! Not a good place for creative minds or independent thinkers but who knows, maybe it has changed (if it's still in business). Doubt it.
