I used to take my kiddos here for a while after finding out that they would hit my babies . after bringing that to the attention of the supervisor Jenni she did absolutely nothing; she instead called my kids liars and proceeded to take no action, I would randomly walk in sometimes to pick up my babies and would walk in to watching the care givers shake, and once spank a kid . All of this was brought to the attention of the supervisor and she once again denied . THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY WORKING CAMARAS IN THIS FACILITY . While dealing with this inconvenience I would also see them constantly smoke marijuana on their breaks and returning to daycare to care for these kids drugged out! I later on wrote a review to bring awareness to everything that was happening in this facility . They reached out to me multiple times to get it taken down and even threatened me . I decided to delete the review since I was tired of getting harassed with false accusations after several bad reviews were posted by different parents . I decided to delete the review and the following day they were paying people $15 gift cards to write positive reviews to help with their complaints. THIS SHOULD NOT BE AN OPERATING DAY CARE AND THEY NEED NEW STAFF ALONG WITH BETTER MANAGEMENT. This is screenshot proof of my review going viral on the internet . When we first started in 2019, we were so happy to find this center... I loved the girls, and they all loved my son, and we were happy and grateful to them... Now... The center changed hands, and everything halted and went downhill... Sarah left, and she was amazing at what she did (I didn't even know she was not the primary owner. I thought she did it all) ... The new owners have made it clear that they exist... and not in a good way... Ever since the change of hands, my son has been having a lot of issues and I feel that while there are things that need to be addressed with him on mine and my husband's end, there are also things that need to be addressed with the center. We have been called to take him home numerous times and yet when we bring him home, he's happy and playing. He's friendly when we take him out with other kids... I feel that the lack of staff stability as well as the lack of staff and the non-involvement of the owner who wants to be told everything but doesn't want to be in the center directly (GET IN THE CENTER OR GET OUT!) is one of the many issues that need to be addressed. I gave a phone call to the owner asking for a meeting or a phone call to go over the situation. I received no response, but things seemed to settle down but every time this happens, I feel like I am not being heard as a parent and keep being told that I need to do certain things for my son should I want him to stay. I have been hesitant to remove the roots we've placed down but it is getting to the point where I have to do exactly that... While my Facebook post says that I would recommend... That was a different time when my son was a year old and things were great with the center... The center is now a hollow shell of its former self and has become a semi-toxic place where they will single out kids and then spin a contradicting narrative to make parents and children look horrible but still very willing to take your weekly money while you are sending them home over every little thing. When I started here, I was relieved because I have a full-time bankers hour job... I still have one of those but now I feel like I don't have a very secure place or even fully loving place for my son anymore. I hardly recognize the center and a good deal of the staff that we loved and started with left upon the change of hands. They had also omitted to state that in order to keep our spot, a mere suggestion was going to be a requirement and I wasn't being allowed ample time to conduct my own personal research. For other parents: If they are good to you... That's great... However, I feel that they are not as great to me anymore and that the center may be too far gone... I started to feel like he was not welcome and upon seeing reviews where that has happened in the past, I had to make moves to protect ourselves and my son for the sake of his happiness and my piece of mind. I felt that I was unheard as did the remainder of our family. We were spun tale of falsehoods from someone who we thought we could trust and that our son adored... I have kept the other negative reviews I have found just so I have them should a further situation arise... A lot of the staff needs to be better trained... The center needs to put on more kid-centric events (It went from having Water Days and Special Themed days... Now all we seem to get are parent breakfasts and barely even that). The center is currently suffering from Staffing issues that are causing center day closures or the stopping of taking of kids... Staffing issues that they tried to blame on my son... That sounds like a whole lot of coping coming from a director stand-in who is unprofessional and another director who is currently getting a heavy dose of emotions and doesn't quite know how to hold and check them in a professional manner. They said that their inability to communicate properly comes from a caring for my son, but they sure didn't hesitate to spin a narrative that would proceed to slander my family in the process. Until this Center improves and goes through a full overhaul of the upper staff (Owners and Directors), I say stay away at all costs... The remaining teachers do not deserve the BS you give and neither do those kids... You are doing more harm than good while you all sit on that CCAP money as it seems that all that you care about now-a-days. They will spin a false narrative, omit details and outright lie in order to get things to look their way but that's to hide the worthlessness that sits in the current upper management. You went from a 3.5-4 star review rating to just about 2.5 and that should show you the decline within the last 3-4 years that this center has gone through. Goodbye Children's Playland... You were once an amazing place, but you are but a sad miserable shell of what you once were. read more

I bought a deal on Groupon, I went to check out the place before sending my daughter there the following week. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. They told me there was no room for my daughter. I asked them to refund me for the deal that I bought, they took my contact information and I haven't heard from them AT ALL! I've since then called Groupon myself to resolve the issue but the fact that they provided me with no follow up is unprofessional. It all makes sense though, a good daycare that is worth sending your child to probably won't have advertised deals on Groupon. read more

I took my child to this daycare a while back. It was the worst experience ever, I cant believe I put my child through this mess. My child came home a few times telling me that when it was nap time the teacher would leave the room and a child that was in her class put her hand up her shirt. I was fuming I told the Director/ Owner and she said I will look into it, They have cameras how did you not see it? Next day we paid for that week and my child told me it happend again! WHAT?!? We left that place quick. Now the director has lawyers calling me because I didn't pay for not going that next week. BOGUS! If you care for your childrens safety and well being I DO NOT RECOMMEND this daycare ever. read more

I LOVE THIS DAYCARE! My son, who is 8 months old, has been going there since he was 8 weeks old. First off, let me say, that if I could afford to stay home, I would, but I am SO happy that I found this daycare to help take care of my baby. Starting from day one, the security of this place is fantastic. You have to have your own code to even get into the building. They check ID's of any visitor. There are several different rooms and my baby is in the 'Little Angel Room". 1 person for every 5 babies. The teachers in his room are truly angels. Miss Nadia and Miss Sada provide a wonderful environment for my growing boy. They sing, play games, read books and make sure they are actually growing and learning. They teach them sign-language and they promote healthy living. They make their own baby food which is organic. I was able to provide breast milk until my son was 7 months and now he is on their formula they provide. I visit my son every day and have come to know his teachers very well. They help soothe my new-mama worries. Although the center may not look much from the outside (it's a strip-mall center), there is so much lobe and warmth on the inside. It is a little expensive, but it's worth the money. Everyone there is incredibly friendly and knowledgable. I 100% recommend this place! read more

As a new mom you are always nervous leaving your child but this child care center really put me at ease! I did so much research and toured many different centers before choosing this one. Let me just say, it was a great decision for our family! The director and assistant director are always warm and welcoming and always greet me and my children by name. There is a security door to make sure only certain people have access. Then you get to the classroom and all of the teachers my children have had are wonderful! They use the creative curriculum for teaching and the online assessment program so I can see my kids' progress. It isn't just a daycare where your child sits in a chair with some toys. They have a schedule they follow and do different activities everyday. My four year old is in Ms. Judy's class and she is fantastic! My daughter knows how to count to 50, can recognize most letters in the alphabet and always talks about how many new books they read and she's always coming home with some new piece of art work. She knows how to write her name and learns something new everyday. She came home the other day asking if I knew they bricks were a strong construction material. I'm sure she will be more than ready for kindergarten! My other daughter is in the infant classroom and she loves Ms Sada! Everyday she smiles when she sees her. She is only 8 months and let's me know she is hungry by signing 'milk'. They also track her development and even though she is a baby, they talk about all the new things she is learning. I go by during my lunch break some times and the teachers are always on the floor with the babies reading and talking to them. Last time I went in they were talking about the different balls and round things they have in the classroom. All of the classrooms are well stocked with toys and you never see an empty shelf. I think this should go without saying but after you've toured as many daycares as we did you realize that so many don't even have very many things for the kids to do, which is why they sit them in front of a TV. This place does not have a TV. They have IPads in the classrooms but the teachers only use them to do the assessment system online. Once my daughter watched a video of a lion roaring for the curriculum but that is the only time I have seen them used for the kids. Overall, this center is wonderful! I feel my kids are safe and getting ready to start school. It is a little pricey as far as strip mall centers go but still cheaper than other name brand places and in my opinion they do a better job. read more

I would like to offer a very different review than the first one listed. My child has been attending Children's Playland for over a year now, and he has absolutely thrived with the loving and nurturing attention from the staff. He also learns so much through books, songs, wonderful activities; I am so happy he is here and I have recommended this center to all other parents who are looking for a caring and affordable daycare option for their children. I live in Denver, and even though my commute is an hour long now, it is worth it because I trust that my son is in the best hands while I am at work. Do your research and be sure to take a tour; this is truly a wonderful center. read more
