Now that all of my little man's baby teeth have been carried away by the Tooth Fairy in exchange for packages of Hot Wheels cars and ceilings full of fairy dust and shooting stars, glitter on his pillow and floor...he still believes, and he still loves the warm and wonderful staff here at Children's Primary Dental. They explained everything to him before they even began and as they worked they kept talking to him, making him feel at ease as he was fully aware of everything they were doing to him. He was excited to come here because he gets to watch TV, play with ipads, and then they give him tokens when he's all done for being such a super trooper! He's had crowns, sealants, just about all forms of dental work done here and today they filled his first cavity that was caught before I could even see it without a magnifying glass. They care about their patients and their comfort, always letting them know what to expect and telling them to signal if anything gets to be too much. At an age when I personally hated the dentist and was silently poked and scraped by a "get them in and get them out" type dentist; it is truly remarkable to see my youngest show absolutely no trepidation hat so ever while having his teeth drilled and caries filled. Maybe the nitrous helps a bit, but in all seriousness, I am so thankful that both of my sons were able to be patients of this amazing clinic. They're doing something right, and it's not contrived or some gimmick to get more patients. Their clientele can tell you them selves that this place is amazing, and my son actually looks forward to coming here! My older son is 22 and is now too old to come here, but he fondly recalls his experiences here too. They need to write a book on how to do pediatric dentistry right, because they've captured something so special in their practice that it deserves to be shared with any kiddo who might be a little scared to visit the dentist. I'm glad that they don't feed into the stereotype that the dentist is a scary place to visit. They make teeth care just as great as whole body care and so when I tell my son his teeth are important because they are connected to the rest of his body and contribute to his overall health, he doesn't even want to miss a brushing or an appointment. They're great with my autistic son, they take Medi-cal plans; and they aren't just a tooth repair factory. This place is actually fun to wait and watch your kiddo get their teeth worked on; and I will always be grateful that we were placed here for our children's primary dental care. Thank you all so much for your professionalism and for making my son feel the importance of his teeth as a part of his entire body. You removed what can often be fear and replaced it with a lifelong respect for and desire to take care of his entire mouth, and I can't thank you all enough for that! read more

Took one of my kids to get work done for a cavity but the dental assistant was plain out rude. Once we got called right in her face was just mad and we were maybe their first patient of the day since went in early. I didn't catch her name but she did xrays for my toddler he's 4 and has speech delay but she wasn't a bit patient with him. She started yelling at him that if he does as she says they'll finish fast and it got to the point where my baby start gagging due to the force she was implying on him. I said nothing since I already gave a copay and wouldn't be refunded but due to this experience I will be looking for another dentist for my kids since I wasn't happy about the way she treated my toddler we were one of the morning earliest patients and she had no patience for my kid imagine for the rest of the patients she had for the rest of the day!! read more

The office was so warm, friendly and accommodating! They were the sweetest bunch of people you could ever hope of meeting! No one listened or made me feel comfortable or even cared what I had to say. A very good neighbor of mine recommended Children's Primary Dental, I scheduled an appointment and immediately I was heard, understood, and came up with a Dental plan. I was extremely happy and a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. I took our little daughter here for her dental treatment, and I am so glad I did! From the very beginning the front staff put her at ease, giving her a coloring sheet, pumpkin shaped foam to decorate, and introducing her to their cute robot! The front test and staff are wonderful , very kind and respectful. The dentist seemed good until my child let a blood curdling scream the worse I ever heard and did nothing. I believe more gas should have been given and the doctor was just lost in the sauce. The worse experience for an 11 year old to go through. Just horrible. I have seen guys blown up and these screams of pain from a 11 year old was just as bad. This dentist just seems like going through the motions. The staff is nice and it's very clean. read more

Went in as new patients today after reading a couple of reviews and wanted to try this office. I will not be returning, this office is very unprofessional. The girl in the front called both my kids by the wrong name and it took her a good minute to find them on the schedule. After checking in it took them a good 20 minutes to call us back which I didn't understand since I saw girls on there phone just standing around. I felt rushed out of there as the cleanings were literally 1 min they didn't show or explain to my kids how to brush/floss. I came in today for both my toddlers cleaning(it was my 2yr old's 1st visit). The office was decorated so cute for Halloween. Dr. Erin and all the staff are so friendly. The staff made my girls feel welcomed with their warm smiles and hello's. This office defiantly caters to the kids the assistants offered different flavors for the girls to pick for their cleanings they had blue raspberry, cotton candy and mint. The assisntants also gave options for the girls to pick their toothbrush (Disney princess), and to finish the appointment The assistants offered the girls stickers and tokens for the toy tower. GREAT KIDS DENTAL CARE made easy! The office staff is friendly. Love Jenny, she's really great with the kids making the kids very comfortable. The dentists are even friendlier. The office is super fun for kids with stickers, ipads, play area, toy token machines. The staff really know how to work with kids. The dental work my youngest son has done there has really gone well. I'm glad we found them. He had to have some major work that required him to be sedated, and was an extra fee not covered by insurance unfortunately. But went well. He was drowsy and they had wheel chairs to help after. The staff was helpful in transporting him. Good thing I brought pillows for the car ride home cause he was so out of it. They are really good with appointment reminders as we as calling when your child is due for a checkup. Very helpful for busy parents. read more

My severely autistic teen has a LOT of dental anxiety and has to be sedated to do deep cleaning an any dental work. The staff at Children's Primary Dental we're AMAZING with her for basic X-rays and as much of an exam a she'd allow. It is extremely difficult to find even children's dentists and hygienists who allow the extra time to slooowly ease her into tasks, and work around modifications like not fully reclining the chair. Also a HUGE selling point- they are associated and have privileges at Children's Hospital which is very important for sedation dentistry if you don't want to fight insurance tooth and nail to justify general anesthesia. Overall, very satisfied and VERY relieved to have finally found a good dentist for my special needs child!! read more
