We were lucky that they happened to have an immediate space for our infant and the only reason we withdrew her was when her slot on the waitlist at our employer's day care finally opened up. The staff is the perfect combination of professional and affectionate with the children and the facility is clean and modern with lots of developmentally appropriate toys. The teachers really work hard to do more than just watch the children - they are conducting daily developmental play even with the small infants. The app was such a blessing for us anxious new parents - getting photos and updates throughout the day eased us tremendously. It's a little pricey, but I can honestly say it was worth every penny.

Steph's years of experience operating an in home center have seamlessly scaled to a larger daycare center setting while maintaining high standards and a close knit family feel. We have been less than impressed by other daycares in the area but have always felt comfortable and confident leaving our son in Parkside's very capable hands. In addition to the wonderful owner/director and staff, the indoor and outdoor play areas are clean and appropriately stimulating for young children. There is so much space and variety for children to explore, play, and burn energy, which is a huge plus for our active little one. I always have to drag my son out of Parkside at pick up time because he just loves playing with the excavators and rocks outside! The extreme cleanliness of the facility, nutritious and included meals, convenient hours of operation, frequent updates and pictures via the Brightwheel app, and reasonable rates are other things we appreciate. They provide exposure to art, music, sensory play, reading, and outdoor time, they are in constant communication with me during the day updating me on how she is doing, what and when she eats, what she has been doing, and any other questions or updates needed. my family and friends with kids have all remarked that they have never seen a daycare that provides so much exposure to different activities. the teaching staff is constant and reliable so we know everyone who is caring for our child. knowing my child is not only being cared for but thriving in this environment makes it tolerable to be apart from her during the day while I go to work.
