This was our first time here. It definitely will not be our last. Service was friendly but slow…read more But the food more than made up for it. This is a very popular place so I recommend calling to make a reservation, especially if you plan on coming with a large group. They have one large table inside. Other than that it's 2-4 person tables (indoor and outdoor) and the counter at the bar. The tables can obviously be placed together for bigger groups. Still, make a reservation. The interior decor seems to be all over the place, but it works, creating a cool hip vibe. We started out with the queso fundido and tuna creo rolls. Both were good. I'd reorder them. I would like to note that they don't automatically serve you chips and salsa. Older reviews mention they are complimentary but newer reviews state that is no longer the case. You have to ask for them and they'll charge you. We didn't ask for them because the queso fundido comes with chips. For the main course, I had the chimichanga. I saw a photo one one with melted cheese over it (gratinado). The one I received had a creamy cilantro based sauce. It was delicious, and with crema on the side... wow. I will definitely get this again. My mom had the encebollado tacos. She could only eat two of the three that came with the order. I ate it the next day. Yum. The only disappointment were the churros. They weren't bad, just average. And after a great meal, average didn't cut it.

Both when it comes to dinning, specially if Mexican, are demanding palates. The service and the ambience was A+. The food we all agree to be 5 . In my case I loved the nachos with ropa vieja.

We waved as we walked in to a waiter, pointed to a seemingly available picnic table, and he waved that we were good to go, so we sat right away, at 7:45p...after that more tables opened up. Drinks: 1. Pina colada - no bueno...like a coconut ice, not pina colada. 2. Passion fruit juice with fresh mint - delicious! 3. Cherry juice drink with alcohol - wife liked it, and I thought it was good. Appetizers: 1. Beef empanadas- I thought the crust overpowered the meat and onion, but daughter and wife loved it. 2. Nachos - terrible. Chips were stale and cheese/beans covering was bare, but then they gave us additional refried beans in a little cup, and straight I thought the refried beans were delicious. 3. Baha fish tacos - phenomenal!!! Entrees: 1 Chicken fajitas: disappointing. The spicing was off, on the chicken, and the guacamole was mostly sour cream. 2. Steak fajitas: very good and way better than the chicken Service was quick and the staff knew their stuff, but it took a long time to get the bill because other tables came in.

The atmosphere is really great with chill, welcoming vibes. Service staff is friendly and…read moreattentive. The Baja fish tacos are amazing. Fresh and crispy, delightful. Get them.
