We waved as we walked in to a waiter, pointed to a seemingly available picnic table, and he waved that we were good to go, so we sat right away, at 7:45p...after that more tables opened up. Drinks: 1. Pina colada - no bueno...like a coconut ice, not pina colada. 2. Passion fruit juice with fresh mint - delicious! 3. Cherry juice drink with alcohol - wife liked it, and I thought it was good. Appetizers: 1. Beef empanadas- I thought the crust overpowered the meat and onion, but daughter and wife loved it. 2. Nachos - terrible. Chips were stale and cheese/beans covering was bare, but then they gave us additional refried beans in a little cup, and straight I thought the refried beans were delicious. 3. Baha fish tacos - phenomenal!!! Entrees: 1 Chicken fajitas: disappointing. The spicing was off, on the chicken, and the guacamole was mostly sour cream. 2. Steak fajitas: very good and way better than the chicken Service was quick and the staff knew their stuff, but it took a long time to get the bill because other tables came in.

This is a very popular place so I recommend calling to make a reservation, especially if you plan on coming with a large group. They have one large table inside. Other than that it's 2-4 person tables (indoor and outdoor) and the counter at the bar. The tables can obviously be placed together for bigger groups. Still, make a reservation. The interior decor seems to be all over the place, but it works, creating a cool hip vibe. We started out with the queso fundido and tuna creo rolls. Both were good. I'd reorder them. I would like to note that they don't automatically serve you chips and salsa. Older reviews mention they are complimentary but newer reviews state that is no longer the case. You have to ask for them and they'll charge you. We didn't ask for them because the queso fundido comes with chips. For the main course, I had the chimichanga. I saw a photo one one with melted cheese over it (gratinado). The one I received had a creamy cilantro based sauce. It was delicious, and with crema on the side... wow. I will definitely get this again. My mom had the encebollado tacos. She could only eat two of the three that came with the order. I ate it the next day. Yum. The only disappointment were the churros. They weren't bad, just average. And after a great meal, average didn't cut it.

We were brought chips and salsa to munch on while we perused the menu. The chips were stale and definitely not fresh. I liked the salsa, but just a heads up that it's a bit spicy. The food was great other than this. Three of our party had the Tri-Juana which was a taco, burrito, and enchilada. I was told the taco shell was stale, but it was otherwise good. Three of our party had soup (I didn't get any pictures), and they said it was really good. I had the Chicken Enchiladas with Mole Poblano sauce. I thought this was incredible. The flavor was rich, and the shredded chicken was cooked just right. It came with rice and refried beans which were also delicious. Most of us had margaritas as well. Their margarita menu is huge. I had the Caribbean Rita was refreshing and hit the spot perfectly. I would definitely have this one again. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was because even though our server was very friendly, the service was incredibly slow. We'd been there for 30 minutes before we even ordered our drinks and food. Our server was visibly busy managing many other tables. I imagine the other servers had been cut due to the time of day, but it was frustrating. (That and the stale chips). The ambiance was nice, and the location right inside the mall, close to the airport, was ideal. I would definitely go back, but I would want to try another time of day to see if the negative factors from today would be better.

Both the food and the drinks were delicious. The atmosphere is really enjoyable. My only criticism is that the restroom was quite dirty. If they pay more attention to that, they definitely deserve 5 stars!

You have the option to get either 2 or 3. Though it is just the tacos themselves. No rice or salad included. Still I added the rice to my meal and didn't regret it. The nachos were listed under the appetizers, don't let that stop you from getting them as a meal if you'd like. My wife wanted them as her entree and they were more than enough. She didn't finish them. Even better than the food was the view. We sat outside and you probably should too if that's you're thing. You're right at the water with the sound of waves crashing in the background. No alcoholic drinks for either of us. I only got a sprite and water (they used bottled Fiji if you order it still but sparkling was also an option) but my wife had 2 mocktails. She said they were really good. Strawberry and mango flavors. Nachos, 3 birria tacos, side of rice, 2 mocktails, and 1 glass of sprite. Not sure if the water was free or not honestly lol. Everything came to almost $105 before tip. So you're paying for the atmosphere and the food. Which we were okay with. Would recommend and would visit again.

We chose seating outside (of course). The area is beautiful with views of the ocean and a nice breeze. There was a small pool on the other side of our table with 6 in pool loungers. Very cool. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. My husband had Tinga tacos which were so flavorful and fresh. I opted for the Birria tacos which I have never had (gasp).
