My meat filled burrito.

We came in after 9 pm and ordered take out. Everything was fresh and taste very good. They were friendly and got our order as quick as they could. The place was full and seemed that others were enjoying their late meals as well.

Best food in San Juan which I had! Was so sad I discovered it on my last night. The service was quick and friendly. They have live music and it's a fun place to eat surrounded by locals and tourists. Now the food was absolutely delicious! We got the vegetarian tacos and burrito and couldn't stop eating. The seasonal veggies were excellent. The sauces were delicious. The drink was strong (definitely a heavy pour) but still very good! I would've eaten here every night if I knew about it sooner

OMG.. this place is the best! Barbacoa tacos, the best I've ever had, a must try. The chips pico were amazing. Husband's quesadilla was delicious. The burrito was huge. Everyone at our table was raving about the food. Service was good too. The seating was upstairs, no air but plenty of fans, still a little humid for this Arizona girl where there's no humidity. Definitely don't skip this place on your trip.

I come here often. A quick bite to eat. Great, fast service. Good music. I tried the pibil taco and it's delicious .

The tacos were solid--the tortilla tasted homemade and fresh...maybe one of the best I've had. BUT we waited 2 hours before even getting any food. We arrived at 7pm and weren't seated until 8:20pm because of the dinner crowd. Which would be normal EXCEPT they seated a handful people that arrived after us, before us (and they don't take reservations so idk how). Once we were seated we ordered promptly until another waitress came 15 minutes later and asked us to order. So we said we did. She checked and an order was never submitted. So we had to wait another 40 minutes to receive our food. We ordered guac and tacos and both took the 40 minutes. We asked the server if we could receive the guac beforehand and he said sure -- then we see him go to the kitchen to plate up our guac . We just felt like we waited for eternity here and while the food was good, it is definitely not worth over 2 hours to receive our food.

Wonderful casual restaurant! We visited twice for lunch during our Puerto Rico trip. The variety of tacos and gringas we tried were all delicious as was the guacamole and fresh chips. The charro beans were a stand out too. Drinks were creative and tasty. Christian was our waiter both times - very personable and efficient. Highly recommended!

These tacos will have your tummy singing, "Taco Tacoo Tacooooos!!!" And you will be dancing mentally because physically you won't be able to move. I got the Barbacoa, and the shredded beef marinated in garlic, which was slow dancing with the chiles and negra modelo. If you've never felt your taste buds waltz, you will today. Their plates will take to a metaphysical place of euphoria and joy. The service is wonderful. They are attentive to the needs of their customers and they checked in on my wife and I frequently while we devoured our plates. The ambiance is warm, eclectic, exciting, and vibrant. Highly recommend eating here if you want to know what it's like to eat life changing tacos.

Located in the lively streets of Puerto Rico, Acapulco Taquería Mexicana provides a lovely getaway into the heart of Mexican cuisine. The vibrant and colorful interior design creates the perfect atmosphere for a genuine and delightful dining experience from the moment you walk in. It's the perfect place for both informal meals and festive get-togethers because of the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. With a wide variety of meals to suit every taste, the menu of Acapulco Taquería Mexicana is a tribute to Mexico's rich culinary history. There's something for everyone, regardless of your preference for traditional tacos like enchiladas or something a little more daring like chiles rellenos. With flavors that are both powerful and subtle, every mouthful showcases the use of premium, fresh ingredients. Their ribeye steak tacos are a particular highlight; they have the ideal balance of savory flavor and a bit of spiciness. Every taco is expertly made and presented on a warm, soft tortilla that accentuates the flavor of the filling. Another standout dish is the freshly produced guacamole, which is creamy and brimming with lime, cilantro, and juicy avocado taste. Their Churros with Chocolate is a very delicious dessert. These classic Mexican pastries have a hefty cinnamon sugar coating and are expertly cooked to a beautiful perfection. Each bite offers a pleasant combination of textures and flavors, with a luscious, chocolaty finish and crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the interior. It is served with a rich and velvety chocolate dipping sauce. The staff of Acapulco Taquería Mexicana is willing to make recommendations and is courteous and attentive, knowing a lot about the cuisine. Along with a nice assortment of beers from Mexico and cool aguas frescas, the restaurant's drink menu complements the cuisine perfectly. It is a popular choice for both locals and visitors because of its outstanding food, welcoming atmosphere, and first-rate service. This taquería guarantees a remarkable and fulfilling dining experience

Great location with fast and amazing food. Definitely recommend the Al Pastor and Lengua tacos. We came twice on our trip to PR and will be going back!

Pricey for just tacos. The meat had good flavor and the homemade tortillas and beans is what made the meal.

We waved as we walked in to a waiter, pointed to a seemingly available picnic table, and he waved that we were good to go, so we sat right away, at 7:45p...after that more tables opened up. Drinks: 1. Pina colada - no bueno...like a coconut ice, not pina colada. 2. Passion fruit juice with fresh mint - delicious! 3. Cherry juice drink with alcohol - wife liked it, and I thought it was good. Appetizers: 1. Beef empanadas- I thought the crust overpowered the meat and onion, but daughter and wife loved it. 2. Nachos - terrible. Chips were stale and cheese/beans covering was bare, but then they gave us additional refried beans in a little cup, and straight I thought the refried beans were delicious. 3. The vibe was great, the food was fresh and well made, and the service was friendly overall. A fun bonus: we actually got to see the famous rock band Maná dining there, which was such a cool surprise! We ordered quite a bit--the chips and queso, chips and guac, hot sauce, tamale, rice and beans, kids cheese quesadilla, and veggie fajitas. The kids' quesadilla was a huge hit with our 5-year-old (who is a picky eater and devoured it). The veggie fajitas were decent and tasty, though for the price I would have liked a bit more on the plate in terms of sides. There was a small hiccup where cilantro was accidentally added to one of my dishes, and it did take quite a while for the corrected dish to come out, but they were very kind about it. That said, everything else was enjoyable and the overall experience was still very good. Overall, a great spot for solid Mexican food in Old San Juan with a fun atmosphere and fresh flavors.

Duck Quesadillas: When I think of a duck quesadilla, I think of something that has a rich profile, but this was surprisingly humble. The duck, mushroom, and cheese all harmonized well to create a symphonic doughy pillow. Definitely recommend it. Grouper Fillet: I don't get the chance to eat Grouper often, but when I do it always hits. I can confidently say that my experience has continued. Despite the bed of sweet potatoes, you could still make out the distinct semi-sweet flavor of the fish. Also the creamy sauce paired perfectly with both the potatoes and fish. Of all the different restaurants I could've chosen, I think this was one of the best ones to end off my night in Old San Juan. Looking forward to coming back!

We were craving some street style tacos and saw the great reviews from my fellow yelpers! We enjoyed the shredded tinga tacos and the carne asada. I preferred the carne asada over the shredded tinga tacos. The queso was pretty good but probably would have been worth it to add the chorizo for a little extra flavor. The chips were a little thicker than I prefer, but definitely hand made in the restaurant. The service was great, all of the employees were so nice and we got our drinks and food quickly! Portion was very generous - it could have been half the size and I would still say it was a good value. Tacos were filling and warm. The rice was a little bland I thought, but was a nice accompaniment nonetheless. The corn tortillas fell apart a bit but the filling was sooo delicious that I ended up just eating it separately.
