The sandwich would've been really good if the lettuce wasn't in such deterioration. Also, they didn't spread the pesto. They just plopped it. But the bread and the meat and the cheese was quite tasty. The fellow that came to serve me at their little takeout counter was so kind and lovely. It was obvious he was extremely busy, and yet he was so kind and considerate.

Whenever I'm at YEG I always stop into Chili's for some grub and a beer (or two). I'm definitely a diner that likes to sit at the wood. I enjoy the personal service and feel like it's a bit quicker too. Not to mention the banter with the bartender and other single travellers. I've never been disappointed here! Food comes out hot, drinks are replenished quickly and the service is always personal.

    Big Bacon Burger

Waiting at an international airport terminal can be boring, and often times lacking in food choices. Today, I had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at the Chili's Airport location in the international wing. The tables were just in the common seating area for the shops, but served by the Chili's staff. Given the context, it was an exceptional experience. The seating is simple cafeteria area tables and benches. The waitress who served me was Marilou. She was phenomenal. She brought me a menu quickly, and returned shortly therafter with my diet Coke and lime as requested. I ordered the Big Bacon Burger, which was absolutely delicious, but also so monstrous I couldn't finish it.. and that is saying something since I am always able to finish a burger. The burger was two huge patties of perfectly cooked ground beef, cheese, lots of bacon and big bun. I had fries with the burger and also got the gravy to go with it (make sure to order the peppercorn gravy, it is perfect). The food was amazing, especially considering this is an airport terminal restaurant. Pricewise the big bacon burger with fries is $22 which is a little higher for a gourmet burger, but honestly with the size of it, I felt like I got more than I paid for. The drink was $4 for the refillable soda, which again is par for the course in an airport. The side of gravy was an extra $2, but it was easily the best gravy I've had with my fries. Yes, it was an expensive lunch but it was tasty, filling, and located in an airport so I did not feel it was excessive. On top of all that, the server, Marilou, was taking care of the entire area. This was probably 10 tables. She was efficiently helping everyone, got every part of my order accurate, and was kind and helpful throughout. If you are looking to have lunch stop before catching your international flight out of YEG, definitely recommend you checking out the Chili's Texas Grill in the Edmonton airport!

    Chipotle Chicken Fresh Mex Bowl

Before catching our flight to Vegas, we made a quick stop at Chili's Express for something to snack on. Located inside the Edmonton International Airport, Chili's is a takeaway restaurant alongside a Bar and offers a wide range of delicious snacks and meals. Order: Chipotle Chicken Fresh Mex Bowl: A healthy and filling meal made of Mexican rice, black bean salsa, chipotle pesto, house made ranch topped with Grilled Chicken pico, avocado and garnished with cheese and crunchy tortilla strips. Overall, it is a great spot to check out if you are looking for a snack or meal at genuine price before taking your flight. There is a good amount of seating available also right in front of Chili's.

5 am pre-flight breakfast. Avocado toast for me, and a veggie scrambler for the boyfriend.

I am one of the few people who was legitimately disappointed when all the Chili's closed down in the city, but am delighted anytime we travel and get the opportunity to hit up the Chili's in the airport. It's almost always breakfast that we get, and I actually think it's a great spot to get a bite before a flight. They're pretty fast, and the quality is your typical Chili's grade. The avocado toast I've had for a second time. I was surprised to see they only give you one egg. The first time I had it I remember a mountain of scrambled eggs on top of my toast.... but this time it was super skimpy. I looked at the picture in the menu though and see it typically only comes with one fried egg so that makes sense I guess. I must have had a generous cook last time. I have to say, though, 1 egg for those giant thick slices of bread is kind of not enough. The boyfriend says his scrambler was good. It's what he orders always, and will continue to order. The only criticism I have for Chili's breakfast is that if you have dietary restrictions for meat like we do (no beef or pork), you are generally out of luck. There are no turkey or chicken options for breakfast whatsoever. I would think that this should be something most places do nowadays because of the diversity we have in Canada. I love breakfast meats, and this is really all that's missing for me here! Thanks for reading

Chillis Grill and Bar used to have around 9 restaurants all over Alberta. By the end of 2017, they closed all but three of them ( one in Banff, one in Calgary International Airport , and lastly Edmonton International Airport ). In late 2018, the restaurant went through a massive renovation and menu change. One thing this location added was a to-go counter and a few new TVs by the bar ( except they have two of them in a awkward spot right above the bar ). But overall the place looks great with more open table ( no more glass partitions ). The place looks so much better now . As for the menu.. well they added quite a few things that is new . I have not tried it yet but there is a new burger called The Boss which looks like a heart attack waiting to happen but I should try it one day . This burger is loaded with beef, brisket and bacon , jalapeno sausage, cheese , lettuce, tomato and homestyle ranch sauce .. it's LOADED !! They also brought back Caesar salad... yeah !!! I ordered the bacon burger with fries ( $15.80 which is a bit pricey ). The fries were awesome and the burger was huge ! I mean I love a good burger and the last time I ordered one here was not that great . It was just blah. This one however was so much better and juicy ! It is really hard to figure out who has the best burger at the airport . There is also DELUX Burger which is really good and around the same price ( maybe a dollar or two difference ). I really like both places so it is a tough choice to make when it comes to where to go for a good burger. The staff here are great as well- shout out to one server in particular Anna who has been there for quite a few years and a great server. They also serve breakfast but I never have tried it - my shifts are in the afternoons. Overall this place looks great and I am glad they have added a few more things to the menu.

This place inside the Edmonton airport is a great example of the worse kind of chain restaurant. A captive business traveler with few options in which to eat! This place is somewhat run down & so is the food quality. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Fingers on a Waffle. I also asked for Onion Rings instead of fries in which they charged me an extra $2.00. I don't mind paying for food quality as long as the location delivers on what it promised. This location DID NOT DO THAT. My food was luke warm & although it looked good it sure didn't TASTE good. The waffles were WAY too sweet & the onion rings were simply tasteless. And as I said....the food was borderline cold. To the credit of the manager she did give me a small credit of about 25% but she didn't seem too concerned. There are other places in the airport so try them before & this place....try it last!

    Steak and eggs

This Chili's is inside Edmonton International Airport (YEG) by the 50's gates. It was early in the morning around 5am and I was pretty beat even though I'm still on Eastern time. I was just looking for a sit down breakfast place and I was going to eat a larger than usual breakfast because where I was going I had a feeling I'd be so busy that I wouldn't have time for lunch. I could have ordered a big pancake, bacon, sausage, eggs kind of breakfast for 16 bucks for for a buck more I figure I'll go with the steak. After looking at the menu I decided I was going to get steak and eggs and start off with a cup of coffee. I didn't have to wait very long and when my food came it was a pretty hefty serving. 2 eggs, 2 toasts, a nice serving of home fries and a cut of steak that although didn't seem too large from the top view was a good inch thick in some places. You see when I have steak and eggs just about anywhere, I'm thinking you know a fried piece of thin steak. Nope, not here. This is Alberta I suppose. On the menu it's mentioned something about AAA Alberta etc but in reality I wasn't expecting much. I had asked my server for a steak knife because all I had was a regular table knife and it was explained to me that being inside the airport and post security that they weren't allowed to carry those kind of knives. I was like, "oh yeah". So I'm going to try to eat a steak that's like an inch thick with a regular table knife. The meat is actually tender enough that it can be done. It was done! I thought it was going to be a challenge but it was fine. The service I had was also very good. I was asked multiple times if I wanted a refill on my coffee and if I was good. Overall with good service and the kind of steak I wasn't expecting to be a breakfast portion (thick grilled steak) I thought it was a pretty good deal for a sit down place inside an airport.

    Breakfast tacos $10
    Kristin K.

Considering this is Edmonton airport food, I was pretty impressed at two large breakfast tacos & fruit salad for $10. I've spent way more and gotten way less. I would def recommend this item and will likely order it again. It was plenty for the hubs and I to share while waiting for our flight!

I conducted an enrolment seminar this morning and then scampered to the airport to catch my 1pm flight home. I had a quick lunch at Chili's. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Ranch Sandwich with no lettuce (I hate lettuce!). It came with lettuce so I pointed it out to my server. She took it away and it came back lettuce-free. Yay! It looked like it was dripping with sauce. Well, it wasn't. It seemed like the sauce was just on one half ... the other half was dry. No doubt the cook took a lot of the sauce off when he/she took the lettuce off but didn't replenish it. It was okay, not great. But it was better than buying food on the plane. I had four hour flight and would be starving had I not eaten first. My server was friendly and quick.

    Boneless Buffalo Chicken Salad

We were lookin' for a place to sit and eat and The Canadian picked Chili's. We found a tight spot that could fit us and the little one in her travel stroller/chair. Michelle was our waitress and she was super nice and attentive, even though the food (my salad) took a bit longer than expected to come out. What I swallowed: BONELESS BUFFALO CHICKEN SALAD: The chicken was hot and crispy, the lettuce was cold and crisp. I was really enjoying out seats by the window, my great salad, and our little quiet time before we boarded the plane. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/chilis-edmonton-3?select=7gxVtTWXSTpKCs2GfqlQMg#7gxVtTWXSTpKCs2GfqlQMg And then I saw it.. ... a hair. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/chilis-edmonton-3?select=7gxVtTWXSTpKCs2GfqlQMg#VRPQQROuMvvai9TKScOu6A Ew. I couldn't eat anymore. Michelle came by and asked if everything was alright being that my salad was barely touched. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it since we were about to board our plane. I pointed out the hair and she apologized profusely. She asked if there was something that could replace it but I told her not worry since we were about to board and we didn't have much time. The Canadian finished his meal (a pre-made tuna sandwich) and when it was time to leave, Michelle told us the entire bill was taken care of. Mistakes happen. We all learn. Given the circumstances, they did what was best to alleviate the situation. That is great customer service right there.

We got seated at our table and then we waited...and waited...and waited... So the manager came by and asked us if we need anything and I replied, "Yeah a server." Apparently there was a mix up with communication and whose table was whose. It is gorgeous inside. Very sexy. Plush benches, silver tones, and blue lights. This would be a great place to be seen after a hockey game or something. Finally with our fixed menu in hand and some water. The manager asked us if we would like the wine paring for no extra charge. What a fabulous gift! We started out with the black truffle and brie aranchini. This is super rich and flavourful. Great texture on the outside and creamy goodness on the inside. My husband and I got one of each of the salads - Wedge and Ceasar. The portions were massive, so I am glad I got the wedge. I could pack it up and it was fresh and crisp the next day. Dressings on both of them were excellent I got the black sesame ahi tuna and my husband got the petite filet. Both were excellent but if I wanted to finish dessert I would have to get this packed for home. Finaly onto dessert my husband got the chocolate peanut butter bar, while I went with the strawberry pavlova. Both were fine, but the peanut butter bar was super rich. The wine pairings were excellent. Great place, even better when you have a super deal.

The ambiance was reminiscent of a high end pizza place- large marble topped tables to shout across. My lamb was a bit under done, but that was okay since I had allowed for that. I've had better lamb in my own home, but I admit I'm not a fan of char as the main flavour. It was very attractively plated and I liked most of the vegetables that shared the plate, excepting perhaps, one or two pieces of bitter greens. My two companions enjoyed their meals, both having ordered filet. The three of us wound up spending about $300.00, tip included.

Apparently Bundok was participating in downtown dining week and had a $65 dinner. We were never made aware of that. First impressions were...exceptionally poor. 1. It was LOUD. Like, had to routinely ask my dining partner to repeat themselves level loud for the entire meal. We were also greeted by the manager, who barely looked up and seemed quite annoyed, while waving us over to our table. I also sat at our table for well over 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged by our server. It's a very small space so this definitely stood out. My husband had time to go get something from the car, come back, browse the drink menu a few times and ask me if we wanted to leave before anyone came to talk to us. It was a busy night, sure but...I can't recall a time I've actually debated just leaving (and leaving a gift card behind) due to utter lack of service. When our server did come, she was quite lovely and did fantastic through the whole meal despite being new. This makes me wonder if the manager forgot to mention there was a new table. Food wise, we knew we had a gift card so we definitely wanted to use that up and then some. The drinks were...okay. Nothing notable and frankly the wine selection is better suited to the meal (their orange is lovely), but I can certainly see why Bundok has won awards for its menu. Every item, save for our striploin was delicious and perfectly prepared. The steak itself tasted like its prepared sous vide then seared, but was very rubbery in our case. Could have been that it wasn't fully to temp when seared. The black garlic sauce was nice, but overall, we could have done without that dish as a whole. If I look at the meal as a whole, removing the benefit of having a gift card, I wouldn't, and won't, be going back. Why? While the food IS wonderful, the price you'll pay (don't get me wrong, I have zero issue paying for an experience and good eats!) isn't necessarily worth poor service, and exceptionally loud (seriously, you're in a repurposed industrial loft that's supposed to feel intimate, the glass beside me was vibrating at some points) setting. This would be 2 stars and a non recommend, but the flavour of the food saved it. If you're fine with super loud and want an experience, give it a shot, but there are other places in the city that are far better for an intimate night out, have equal caliber food, and quite frankly, run laps around the service. While we're thankful for the opportunity, we'll happily pass on going back.

I apologized for the inconvenience but she proceeded to give me dirty looks which is fine at the end of the day. What I can't ignore and reason for writing this review is when ordering a new round of drinks, I saw her use a previously poured drink that was sitting out under the taps and poured some in my glass before filling the rest of the glass up from the tap. Most likely this was not the first drink she had done this with but it was the first I noticed. I did not yell or even point this out, but chose not to drink the new beer and closed out my tab. The bartender did not ask why I l would leave a fresh beer after just ordering, so she knew I saw her but did not acknowledge how foul and revolting it is to put (at best old beer, at worse who knows what) in a patron's drink just for being so rude as to ask for a game on at a sports bar!!! Will never come back here again and they should fire this bartender for such an awful thing as pouring foreign substances into the drink of an unexpecting patron. Ruined my plans to hang out before the game.
